That one where the ump ruined the no hitter for that Detroit pitcher pissed me off
Cowboys Beavers I’m not even that big of a baseball fan and it pissed me off too
Heck I don't like baseball and I'm PISSED
It was a perfect game. It hurt so bad watching my favorite team get shafted.
One of the only things I know about baseball is how big a deal a perfect game is. I feel so bad for the pitcher,
Cowboys Beavers it was a perfect game not a no hitter which makes me even more mad
The Hayward shot still kills me to watch
As a Butler fan it fucking makes me cringe
I was 9 and i can still remember how heartbroken I was
Paid Ice Poseidon Actor iii
Not if you’re a duke fan
Every time I watch it I think it’s gonna finally go in
The 28 out perfect game is forever heartbreaking...didnt even get a no no
Thomas Vorm the worst part about it is the fact that he missed the call. Like he wasn’t actually safe thats what sucks
Still got a CG 1-hitter win, with no runs allowed. To be honest, that single has given that performance more notoriety that if he hadn't gotten the perfecto.
Notoriety? No pitcher wants to be remembered for this. They wanna go down as one of the greats to pitch 27 up 27 down
Trevor Leach Ummm no shit lol what else would be the worst part?
It's been dubbed the only 28-out perfect game, since we KNOW he objectively got Donald out. The only shame is that the ruling couldn't be changed.
Love how as soon as they give the ball to Antonio Brown he’s just like “I’m not passing”
Bucketfullabiscuits maybe because he had a chance to score and should’ve?
@@trevorkibala6280 One could argue that, but I don't think he even looked at others for better options lol. He just booked it, and then didn't score.
@CnC Gaming how you gonna call him a failure in life when he has had an amazing football career and his made more money than we will ever combine up to.
CnC Gaming Well while I do agree that he’s been a shithead recently, number one he should’ve kept the ball on that play because he had a better chance to score at that moment than anyone else on the field, and number two he’s definitely not a failure lmao
nigga who was he going to give it to??? he had to run that
even the mlb doesn't know what a catch is lol
Danno [insert last name here] the nfl only allowed the catch rules not the mlb
Actually the MLB definition of a legal catch is incredibly easy to understand, especially when compared with the NFL's rule. In the MLB rule book, it explicitly states that if the fielder collides with a player or wall or falls down simultaneously or immediately after his contact with the ball and drops it, it is not a catch. The release of the ball has to be voluntary and intentional, i.e. dropping the ball when taking it out of your glove to throw would still be a catch. That play fits the rule to a T.
Ryan Altfillisch that rule is so shit it should be if you have the ball in ur glove for like 2 steps or two seconds then it’s a catch
it wasn't a catch, moron
No sport knows what a catch is. Or what counts or doesn't, or what a goal is.
When Shaq makes two free throws
Hey it would be cool if you checked out my first RUclips video i plan on uploading again at a different time my channel is dedicated to sport fail so if you can check out my video it would be cool and subscribe and comment what you want me to upload i will start making compilations.
Almost what?
When shaq, retired, and stated the things he was going to miss, free throws were one of them.
13:22 -- 13:29 ⚾ "The receiver did not maintain possession of the ball while going out of bounds - so ignore the fact Betts took 3 steps - *therefore the ruling is an INCOMPLETE CATCH* , RESULTING IN A HOME RUN! Repeat 3rd down!"🏈
Gotta admit hopping the fence was pretty unnecessary though.
Aaron Sadlo He had way too much momentum. If he tried to stop running on a dime he would’ve torn every single ligament in his knees.
Yes, but at least he would have made the catch.
It should have been a ground rule double at the worst.
Randy Prazma Why would it have been a ground rule double? It never hit the ground.
The two Stanley Cup finals ones are absolutely amazing. That's what you call payback.
Poor Hossa switched teams in the off season, only to lose back to back finals.
1234Peacekeeper Then won 3 in 6 seasons lol. He was in 5 out of 8 cup finals. Crazy stat
I couldn't understand what he was saying after the play though.
That sucks lol
Can’t believe the Saints lateral TD against the Jags that was followed by the missed game-tying XP wasn’t on here
This is exactly why we have replay. How many of these were originally called differently, and then reversed to the correct call. And I think we all wish there would have been replay on that Tiger’s perfect game that got butchered by the ump.
At the very least any other umpire than the dumbass who ruined that call.
HHopebringer he was actually rated me of the best umps in the game ool
HHopebringer He was literally one of the best and most consistent umpires in all of the Major Leagues. Shut the hell up
jim joyce is one of the best umps in the mlb. he admitted after the game that he missed the call and actually tested up knowing he stole a perfect game from galaragga. he’s a real nice guy and people hate on him for some reason
The most infuriating thing about the Gallaraga almost Perfect Game was that he could have easily asked the Home Plate umpire for a second opinion or different look and could’ve overturned the call
Aidan A that game was before they had video review in the MLB tho
Still don’t see how he was safe
Matt Ferragamo I don’t understand baseball what does it matter if he was safe or not
Matt Ferragamo He wasn't, it was a horrible call
BVW28 If they would have called the runner out, which he was, then the pitcher would have had pitched a perfect game, something that a very small amount of pitchers have done in the history of the MLB.
Austin Powell and admitted to by the ump, who had just been rated one of the best by players and coaches
Chase Thanks
wow the penguins and the red wings had some crazy stanley cup endings
Rite
Peng wings vs red wings
And they were basically identical: both teams won in each other's arenas, and both games ended with chaos
HH slowly broadening his horizons…
I learned that phrase in 4th grade and 4 years later I’ve been waiting to use it
YRGK09 😂😂😂😂😂😂
YRGK09
P
That Armando Gallaragga play will never cease to piss me off.
Being a Tigers fan, it stings. Even the guy on the Indians who was safe put his hands on his head, as if he was disappointed.
Welcome to Detroit sports. Raising and crushing hopes since 1901.
I don't watch baseball, I don't understand what happened??
The pitcher was an put away from a perfect game.. meaning nobody makes a hit the entire game. It’s very rare and hard to do and is seen as a major accomplishment
ohhh okay thank you
I don't care who you wanted, that was tough to watch
Which moment
Joe Buck: *_”the almost amazing calls”_*
"That is a DISGUSTING act from Spectrum!"
Spectrum “Manning.... stays on his feet” god I hated that call
That ruined perfect game makes me tear up whenever I see it, it’s just so unfair.
Oh my god 3:13 literally can’t be any closer that is the craziest thing I’ve ever seen
Couple more to add for the next edition:
Max Scherzer's almost perfect game ruined by a HBP
Yu Darvish perfect game broken up with 2 out in the 9th
Syracuse's almost buzzer beater in regulation in that 6 overtime game in the Big East tournament against UConn
Central Michigan's hail mary in the Bahamas Bowl
Saints lateral play only to miss the extra point
Jacob Spradling yes it does, it becomes a no-hitter after a walk/hbp/error
I believe Central Michigan went for the two point conversation and didn’t get it.
Speaking of missed extra-points, the River City Relay, when the Saints had a series of laterals against the Jaguars that lead to a touchdown as regulation ended and kept their playoff hopes alive only to have John Carney miss the extra point, definitely should have been on this list.
Nick Cummer that's the one I was talking about
Armando Gallaraga getting screwed by the first base umpire of a perfect game
Which is one of the many incidents that lead to the MLB finally getting reviews and challenges to change calls.
7:22 “This is gonna be tough”
*clearly shows lights on with ball still in hand*
7:38 dat face
I'm so gald you are finally giving NHL some love
Blake Anderson me 2
I’m really gald too
@@jonnyhampton4843 LOL U MAK TYPO WHAT A SUMMY ROFLMAOOOOOOO
I’m from the Bull (Durham Nc) we’re huge Duke fans and that butler shot almost made us have a heart attack and shit our pants. We all thought it was going in. What a game that was man. Go Duke!! 😈
Two ideas, ever 2 digit seed beating a 3-1 seed in March madness since 2010?
Or, every playoff win from the browns?
Every playoff win by the Browns? The video's gonna be a second long
He had complete control of the ball on the last clip. It should have been out not a home run . 🤷🏻♂️
bigstackD Casting its really close. If the leap over the wall is a continuation of the catch, then HR is the right call. I could see it as two separate actions though. If it was a continuation of the catch, then he didn’t have control through the resulting play.
Garrett Webster Okay cool. I don’t really know the rules , It looked out to me but obviously I am wrong. Cheers for that Garrett.👍🏻
The rule for a catch is voluntary release. He clearly did not voluntarily release that ball, hence the ruling.
^ Exactly. If he really had "complete control", he never would have dropped it.
Who cares? Wasn't this in the middle of July?
It's like that announcer was so pleased to say that Brown stepped out of bounds. Lmao.
Every time I see the one-yard short play by Dyson I feel so bad. Even had him as a teacher in HS, very humble and you can tell he is happy regardless of that happening.
Antonio Brown been running out of bounds ever since....
Lmfao
I remember one time before it became a popular trick play, the Bears had a go-ahead fake punt return (where the main returner runs to the other side while a hidden player catches the punt) against the Packers called back by a block in the back.
I remember that no hitter. They gave him a corvette and the ump apologized
95VR407FA5 it was a perfect game
Pretty sure every baseball fan in the world remembers that game
Its so AMAZING the differance a make or miss actually MAKES
Marcus Paige double clutch vs Villanova
The Red Wings and Penguins are the absolute craziest game endings ever. Both win the Cup in each other's barns on utter chaotic plays. Amazing
NFL plays from the 2017-2018 season that changed a teams season
There's a lot of those this year
Aaron Rodgers
Man I’m not even a hockey fan but I remember watching that exact moment at 5:16 when the puck is just laying out there and the goal looks wide open. Insane moment.
I watched the LSU v Auburn one live at Dick’s Sporting Goods and literally everyone there was watching it and at the end I laughed so hard lol
7:21 "this is gonna be tough" as a still frame shows him palming the ball with the light on
its despicable that auburn starts acting like they are the best ever after they completely blew the game
That Pats/Ravens game in ‘07 was so intense. I was THRILLED when the Ravens D stopped the Pats on 4th down; only to have it not count because the Ravens called a timeout right before the snap smh. That was an amazing game.
It was a false start
love how this popped up right after kyrie dropped 50 and ALMOST made the game winner🙄
kyries a pussy
Could somebody explain to a non baseball fan the one at 8:02? I mean why this particular ref messing up was such an important/amazing play
jurado1010 basically, the pitcher had a perfect game going with only 1 batter left to get out. These have only been a little over 20 perfect games in the MLB in 150 years so it is extremely rare.
Highlight Heaven Oh, I see, it really feels much more important with context. I thought it was only highlighting the mistake but seeing the announcers so excited confused me. Thanks for such a detailed and comprehensive answer!
This was before MLB replay too. The ump felt so bad after the game by taking away this kids perfect game he was crying. In baseball it’s easy to go a whole game and give up a hit and even a walk so to go all 9 innings and have no base runners at all is huge.
jurado1010 this will haunt every tigers fan ever
I just realized at 12:20 the announcer says the Wings won their first cup in 11 years but the Wings won in 2002, six years before that. nice job Dick
Times where the backup quarterback stepped in and won the game
Doctor Dalton (Nick Foles Simulator)
Doctor Dalton Earl Morrall came in in the 2nd Quarter of Super Bowl V after Unitas got knocked out.
Doctor Dalton Brett farve
Doctor Dalton Frank Reich and the comeback against the bills
Oilers
Watching this breaks my heart, even for the teams I don’t even cheer for
i know this isnt related but anyone else really want a villanova vs duke final four? thats what i want. not even my braket i just think it would be awesome
I'm a Kansas fan, so no lol
All of the upsets definitely create less intriguing sweet 16/elite 8 matchups
+greent8735 They can be, and I hope they do win! If Graham has a bad game though at any point and someone else doesn't step up, they'll probably lose.
Well duke lost so No
Lmao rip your bracket
0:29 When Butler could've given the Horizon League something to be proud about, but failed by just a few centimeters
This was the “taunt the Steelers” video
Did you not see the Colts-Steelers AFC Championship Game highlight? And the Cleveland game?
That Jags play toward the end looked like the ball may have actually broken the plane by the time he gained possesion.
Wait...nevermind, it was against NE, play stands.
Basically. LOL.
This is the saddest thing I’ve ever watched...
Seeing that HAyward Butler play pierces the heart, especially when it almost happened a play earlier too
I saw the doco, and the game, and I remember the jumper his missed the play before. GD was torn more at that one than the halfcourt heave. So close to history though. So damn close. I think the doco was called 2inches from history or something
I got a very underrated "Almost" moment for you that bothered me for years. 1996 NBA Knicks-Bulls second round series, game 4 at MSG. Bulls lead the series 2-1. Knicks have one final possession down by 3. They get it to Starks outside the 3 point line. Starks bobbles the pass, then gets control of it and shoots a 3 for the tie. The ref misinterprets the bobble as possession and sees Starks' feet moving and he calls Starks for a travel with 1.8 or something like that left on the game clock. Starks' 3 went in. The crowd went nuts only to realize it didn't count. That game should have gone to overtime, instead the Bulls went up 3-1 and there's no way the 96 Bulls were going to lose that close-out game 5 in Chicago.
You never know, the 73 win Warriors lost a close out Game 5 at home
forman208 well if Dennis Rodman had gotten into a scuffle w Charles Oakley and gotten suspended for game 5, I might have thought hey we got an outside shot at this game. But I will also say there is no way Cleveland should have ever won that series in a million years. I really did not believe what I was seeing. Losing Bogut really hurt the Warriors too tho I think.
Knicks lost fair and square. Quit blaming the refs
@@bloodlust8774 why do you care how I feel about a game that's 24 years old? Did you think Starks legit traveled on the play?
@@billny33 I like the Knicks but it sounds like you’re making excuses.
As a Pens Fan, those 2 Stanley Cup Final Finishes in 08 & 09 almost had me in an E.R.
And also where was the play in college football where western Kentucky were down by one but missed the two point conversion
Just a note to everyone complaining about Gallaragga’s no-hitter being taken away: 1) The umpire, Jim Joyce, felt awful afterwards and presented an in person apology to the pitcher and 2) Gallaragga was later awarded the perfect game by the MLB. Just remember that before you start blasting that umpire. Yes it was an awful call and umpires can suck sometimes (I’m a baseball player so I know).
Where is 2014 WS Game 7 Alex gordon on 3rd base?
Any other Steeler fans remember that Falcon game. We were up by 14 with about 5 minutes to go until Mike Vick went nuts and tied it. Also Cowher botched the clock management at the end of the Overtime.
Not a Red Sox fan but that last call was terrible. Mookie had complete control of the call when caught, took 3 steps and then fell over, yet maintained control until his glove hit the ground and the ball popped out. Not even close to a home run, that belongs on the worst calls list
12:45 holy shit that is one of the greatest catches I’ve ever seen how have I not seen this before
What did the rim have against Hayward?
everything
TheSportsGamer duke
I don’t know how much video you could find for it but maybe one where players lead their league in 3 categories like triple crown for baseball or something like that but for other sports too.
Beautifully sad
Only ones missing is:
1. DeMar DeRozan half court shot made but timeout called before the shot.
2. Kyle Lowery corner 3 for the NBA championship, but misses.
3. UCF vs Duke in the playoffs, when a UCF player missed a put back layup to beat Duke as time runs out.
Joe Flacco Sliding Compilation please.
Joe Flacco Slide Fail, you mean?
8:02 the thing was it WAS a perfect game but Jim Joyce blew the call.
Update with bears Hail Mary to the 1 vs new england
I was at that Butler v Duke game... I can’t imagine what the scenes in Indianapolis would’ve been like if Gordon hit that shot
Highlight heaven road to 1mill
in like 2 years maybe
James Farmer I can’t really think that far ahead into the future
Highlight Heaven 2 years later and you have a vid with 30M views but no 1M
The best "that sucks" comp!
Great Video Highlight Heaven

Some of these are just amazing defensive plays. Like the penguins goalie and the rams tackle.
The goat is back at it
Did you have to make the Steelers disappointments back to back? Lol
That MIA one hurt, I distinctly remember yelling at the TV during that play as AB went down the sideline.
What’s with Stanley cups between the penguins and redwings lol
Fr? So similar
Stanley Cup Final 2004 Game 6. Puck crosses the goal line for Calgary goal at end of 3rd period but play never went under review. It could have been the goal to win the cup for the Flames but instead the Lightning won in overtime and in game 7 as well
Josh Blank two words Gary Bettman.
How wasn't the Browns vs Packers game this year on this list.. The Browns almost won a game!!
Onion Man lol
Onion Man because of our stupid back up quarterback
The Browns almost won two games. One against the Steelers at the last week of the season. and the other against the Packers.
Looked like a illegal forward pass as well in that LSU Auburn clip. Crossed the line of scrimmage
5:30 is that english?
Пиз Пул -Reece Poole- It’s Marc Andre Fleury speaking and he is a native french speaker.
Is that a man?
Nothing is more heartbreaking than The Greatest Show On Turf
11:03-11:15 give us a headphone warning next time 😂
jake newcomb sorry lol
Highlight Heaven it’s fine Hahahahah 😂
0:00 the first college basketball game I’ve ever watched. I’m a major duke fan now
That butler shot always seems to go in, but it doesn’t
"He may be cursed by long fingers" lol😂
2:48 that’s what she said
I grew up an hour north of Detroit so I’ve been a Detroit sports fan my entire life. That Galarraga play still makes me sick to my stomach to this day...
Please do best qb blocks
That dez catch has to be one of the most amazing to not count
8:10 pisses me off every time I watches it
Heyward would’ve come down as the greatest performer in college history if he hit that shot. He dominated that tournament and I remember my dad explaining the ending to me, could’ve been absolutely historic
Where is LeBron James game 7 almost greatest dunk of all time?
On Draymond
They ended up winning the ring so it’s like eh. It sucks the dunk didn’t go down but nah
How dare you give me ptsd like that redwings clip out of NOWHERE. Fuck me man gets me every time
lol
So close.. Yet so far
Those two pittsburgh/detroit clips happened in back to back years. It came right down to the wire both times, just with different results. Crazy.
I liked the one where it almost happened
50 / 50 that one was really cool
5:50 the miracle is that Dez didn't drop the ball.
I like this inter sports video.
Lol the save by fluery vs the red wings is an amazing moment... it’s probably his most famous save😂😂
The reefs take away every single Dez Bryant catch
TJ Hall yea but it was a good call
He dropped it
Probably because he doesn't catch the ball.
i was just about to say that
He's just gotta stay away from the ocean then
Man that thunder team was so close. Loved that team
This is why they got rid of Brown lmao
