The guy Sinister is working for is named Bastion he's a mutant hating cyborg. A Fusion between Master mold and Nimrod (a sentinel that can mimic mutant powers) that was reborn in a human body due to the power of the siege perilous. After losing his memory he was raised by a human and learned about mutants through the media and grew to despise them.

Operation Zero Tolerance had regular people getting activated as Prime Sentinels and a hard press campaign against mutants. Bastion is going to make Magneto look like a real villain in retaliation for Genosha, to get people to turn harder against mutants.

Initially I wasn’t into Roberto’s storyline, but the scenes with his mom were very relatable. His mom being loving towards him while also still wanting him to keep his mutation a secret is pretty close to what happened when I came out to my mom. This storyline is a so much better coming out allegory than the lame “have you tried not being a mutant?” from the fox movies.
And Jean lying talking about Madelyn was like a sister when the last time she saw that girl Jean was ready to throw hands 😂

You also notice that the creator for X-Men'97 made subtle references to the Pulse shooting with what happened in Genosha, as well as Roberto coming out to his mom.
I hope Storm is the key to defeating the prime sentinels.
Like idk if it scientifically makes sense, but maybe she can use her powers to create a city-scale EMP blast to deactivate all of the hybrids Bastion is creating????
Or maybe Storm and Magneto will somehow combine their powers to create a mega Electromagnetic pulse????

Well, Storm has been able to general EMP’s in the comics multiple times. It’s pretty much linked to the science of her powers.

Morph when he transforms in to somebody he can use the physical abilities , he cant replicate energy based powers

Canonically Morph can enhance his strength, durability, and speed (up to 40mph) to an extent so he can EMULATE certain abilities of certain mutants.
I also have a theory that Sinister put some of the DNA of a handful of mutants inside Morph when he was experimenting on him for all that time Seeing as though he's genetically compatible with anything he changes into it would work to an extent. So he probably can copy a low-grade version of SOME manual abilities in him that utilize strength, speed, and durability.
I’d hope they combine this and AoA version Morph. Into one making him Marvel’s plastic man in a way.

With Magneto captured and Sinister keeping an eye on Xavier while he’s away, I feel like they’re going to try to make Onslaught as their ultimate weapon. Once Xavier is captured when he is back on Earth, Sinister can use his gene manipulation abilities to combine Magneto’s and Xavier’s powers to create Onslaught

Sir, his name is Bastion, a nimrod/sentinal/ hybrid ! He is a killer of mutants!
Morph - When the writers were originally making the team in the OG show, they were going to use Changeling (an alien from the original comics who impersonated Prof. X and died) as their sacrifice mutant once they decided to NOT use Thunderbird (because they didn't want to kill a Native character), but they changed the name to Morph because DC Comci's Beast Boy's original name was also Changeling and they didn't want any drama between DC over the use of the name since Marvel hadn't used in in comics in years but DC had used it more recently at the time. MORPH (according to writer Beau DeMayo) has the ability to copy people's appearance and their PHYSICAL abilities. So they can't copy a mutant who has like energy manipulation abilities, but if they have a physical power that relies purely on their body, he can copy it. So Colossus has super hard metal skin, so he can turn his skin hard. Wolverine has claws, so he can create the claws. Quicksilver can use his legs to run fast so Morph can too (though not as fast). Archangle can create wings, so Morph can.
As for Deathbird and Bishop having a child, that was in an alternate story like a WHAT IF, that was in astory of (What would the last story of the X-Men be) and Writer Chris Claremont wrote a story where they had a daughter. The daughter does not exist in the regular comic time line and frankly hasn't been mentioned in comics for years now.
Finally DeMayo says Bastion has appeared in every episode except for 3 and 6 if you look closely in shots.
We all forget about Morph.We see a new mutant and get excited😂😂.
Many forget that Rogue started out as a villain and this journey you see a shadow of how she was as a villain, so the question is is she falling back to what she was before.
How I see the others did nothing when Rogue let go of Trask, I don't think anyone thought she would do this to see it happen and to have time to react to it before they lose sight of Trask because Jen Gray must see her target for to be able to grab hold of the person who is falling, and remember that a falling body has a fairly high velocity and they only had a few seconds to act before the body, so for me it is obvious that they did not hade the time to act and do something before the body hit the ground.

The way Nightcrawler, Jean, AND even Morph (he could have turned into Angel like episode 1) could have saved Trask and not one of them moved. Wolverine is the only one to say it out loud but they ALL wanted to do it low-key. They are all getting burned out with this Mutant against the world BS and it's showing, especially in Beast's scene with Trish. Xavier about to come back to NONE of his kids believing in his dream anymore.

Bastion is not responsible for Onslaught...he is the leader of the Prime Sentinels and the mastermind of Operation: Zero Tolerance. Onslaught is a result of Xavier's and Magneto 's dark psyches merging together into one being and becoming a multiversal threat...

The show is it's own timeline that tends to combine different things into one and tweak them around.

Magneto is already captured by Bastion and Xavier is being surveilled. They can capture him when he gets back to earth and Sinister can do his gene manipulation work
Morph has always used the powers of others, but it's the physical type of powers,, like he uses Sasquatch, superhuman strength in that one episode when he's fighting master mold, and that was in the original series

I don’t think they gave Magneto a funeral, because he wasn’t really part of the X-Men in the beginning. He was always an antagonist despite eventually running them for a bit before Genosha. He was thought dead with Nightcrawler’s comment to Rogue. I just believe he wasn’t part of the fam for them to feel the need to have a funeral.
Because magneto hates funerals he doesn't even want one when he dies it's in sanctuary 1 and 2 of The originals season
