For Day 2 of #BigDub2022 we started our day at the DJ battle with the Mosh Queen who made it to the finals both years in a row! Sadly she was out DJ'd by a super technical DNB DJ who goes by Togeki. Never heard of the dude, but I can see why he won.
With the DJ Battle ending ahead of schedule, it gave us time to head to Stone Circle to show support to my boy Karuza repping VA. To my surprise, he brought out my other homie Micari from NY to play their new collab "Madness" and it created some really wholesome content.
Following Karuza we stuck around at Main Stage for Sythyst, Shizz Lo, and then the man Codd Dubz who was filling in for Shiverz who was unable to make it due to travel reasons. After Codd we caught a little bit of Sippy. I thought I would be filming from GA for the rest of the night as I didn't have media access for the bigger artists...but then things got kind of crazy.
While hanging back stage, I ran into both Ace Aura and Ray Volpe before their sets. Ray remembered me from Paradise Blue, and Ace was just so chill humble, and easy to talk to despite me not knowing much about him and his music. After chatting with both of them for a little, they both agreed to let me film some clips during their sets for the vlog and it made for some super crazy and exclusive content! The power of networking!
After shooting for Ace Aura and Ray Volpe, I was more than content with the footage and opportunities I was just given and packed up my camera bag and headed back into the crowd for Barely Alive. After Barely Alive, I went back to camp, and somehow manage to hang out there for most of Bear Grillz set 😒 However, no regrets as I spent the time not seeing Bear Grillz spending time with my friends and the people I love ♥
