- amelie lens, charlie sparks, i hate models, klangkuenstler, kobosil, nicole moudaber, space 92, & zorza are all hard techno. in the EDCLV2024 lineup reveal, pasquale rotella cited hard techno as one of 3 genres that have really come up in the past year - vini vici is psytrance, another genre that has apparently risen in popularity (personally i haven't seen it)
ayeee brotha im from Florida hope you guys have the best time! o always told my friends dont go down in the summer its too hot for yall up north ppl lol miss florida for sure!
charlie sparks, carl cox b2b vintage culture, klangkuenstler, i hate models, pat mason, riordan, mochaak all good to discover outside the bass scene. hard techno, ukg, groovy jungle and house tunes
You gotta get there early and catch Sloth! He is another bass set. Probably be an opener. Also Jon Casey too. I’ll be there, hopefully I bump into you. I am getting married at the fest!
Dude this is my 4th edco in a row, I’m definitely a dubstep person so I live at circuit grounds and it does not get boring. I like some house too so I’ll go to stereobloom or mainstage if an artist I like is there. I always try to catch at least one set at neon garden and the art cars/smaller stages
I didn’t get through the whole video yet , if it’s possible try and go to homebass as well it makes the weekend so much better, also Carl cox b2b vintage culture is gonna be sooo good
If you only see one act that isn't bass music, make it Giuseppe Ottaviani. If you can squeeze it in, see Cosmic Gate and Gareth Emery but Giuseppe is a must. Edit: Trance, but dark chugging trance
There’s value into expanding your horizons . I’ve been doing edc Las Vegas each year since 2014 and it’s good to have a change of pace and meet other kinds of people. I haven’t done the Orlando one but I hear it’s a lot less crazy as the Vegas version. After experiencing bass canyon, lost lands , wakaan I can say I prefer finding a spot sitting my ass down on a moon Matt or chillbo and enjoying the show vs always being on your feet at the edcs.
I feel you in the beginning of the video. I’m 30 now almost been going to shows/fests for almost 10 years now my first fest was march 2k15. Finally chilled got my own place a couple years ago I def had to slow down on all the shows and fests that’s why I like bonnaroo. I can fix the camping itch and there is so many different genres there makes it worth the trip. That will prolly be my one a year fest and I usually can squeeze in a few decent more biggest shows when they come to Nola a year Have a fun at edc tho! Love your vids man!
38 and I started around when you did. First fest was Mysteryland 2016. I've had up years and down years but I always manage to find at least a little music each year.

Bidenomics / Harris hard at work , keeping music lovers from going to festivals.
