There was a photographer in 2017 that got a 1.1 million payout for defamation. I can't see how making 30+ Tiktoks and spreading false accusations doesn't at least rise to the level of pursuing legal action. I think a LOT of sane, reputable vendors would be more than happy to donate to the cause to combat this type of insane, clout-seeking, bullying behavior.
@@calla211 I remember this case! This couple had a lot of data showing that the false reviews were hurting their business. If you haven’t already, check out The Legal Paige podcast on this. She talks about “sepia gate” and how defamation cases work. In short, there are 4 things that have to be proven to have a valid defamation case and I don’t believe they have that, so it could be a tough case (from a legal perspective). Definitely a crappy situation for sure tho.
I enjoy your video, but holy moly GIRL you keep talking over your guy SO MUCH lol it's painful to listen to. Just let each out finish your sentences first lol otherwise - great video! :)
I’m gonna have to disagree. I definitely don’t feel like she was talking over me. It’s a topic that she (as a photographer) is fired up over. It happens. There are episodes that I do the same thing. It happens, and we understand it. Thanks for listening tho. Glad you enjoyed.
I agree and the amount of word vomiting is coming off as very disorganized. Also, the comment about the bride possibly picking up photography due to this situation is a bit arrogant-sounding.
A very balanced take. Thank you.
We always try to look at these things from both perspectives when we can. Thanks for listening/watching!
Very interesting and things I know nothing about but appreciate both of your perspectives on this situation. Contracts are needed.
Not just contracts, but SOLID contracts! Thanks for listening!
Very interesting....
Definitely a crazy situation, that’s for sure!

So basically don't be a sepia-style photographer.
In all honesty my style is on the warm side. Maybe I should switch it up... 😬
At some point we have to just stop trying to be non biased and call things how they are. She is a client from hell and that’s that
I feel like even being non biased in this situation definitely shows her true colors, unfortunately
wrong
