I can see that she uses her hearing and smelling senses to the max to help her orient herself. The people in the shop who fussed over were terrific! Mackenzie's a very popular girl, isn't she? 🥰🥰🥰

I dealt with potential separation anxiety right from when I got my Eskie at 3 months old. What I did, living in an apartment, was go out for progressively longer periods to allow her to grow accustomed to my absence since there are a lot of stores I go to where she is not welcome. As a test, I asked the pup-dad across the hall to listen for her and he reported dead silence each time I left. I can't help but think that talking to her and telling her what I am doing before leaving helped with her adjustment.
You guys are such amazing Dog parents doing so well with Mackenzie ❤ She is a really smart pupper. But that raincoat and shoes on her is just soo cutee I wanna hug her! I love her so much.
I have and always will be partial towards Huskies. I have a transferrable job and have to keep on shifting. But Noah (my Husky) adapted so well that even I took more time than him. The first few days are key. You have to assure them that this is Home and it's safe and let them find their safe space. Now Noah can stay alone for 5/6 hours before he gets antsy. Altho it is rare but sometimes I have to leave him at home coz most places in my city don't allow pets and that's why I took the effort to train him. Watching Mackenzie being antsy while also listening to Mom is both heartbreaking and reassuring. She has got good parents and for that I am grateful
Mackenzie looks so smart in her red coat. It's so nice there are super friendly places eateries. The vcmera is a great idea. What about a treat dispenser for when you're out. ❤❤
I am in LOVE with Makenzie!! She is adorable!! We had to get a rescue dog from the shelter for our husky and it made all the difference in the world. They are best buds❤😊
Raincoat on a husky, I’m torn, I’d never under no circumstances put anything like that on my husky, but maybe you have reasons I don’t know about.. doesn’t their fur work a bit like whiskers, helping them navigate the world?

Our saint has anxiety but she also has seizures. So we really don’t leave her alone. I take her to work with me.

If it were a quick walk I would skip the rain coat but for an hour long walk she starts to get that wet dog smell that won't go away for a while! 😭
