- Steak Diane, a massive hit during the 70's is simple to make and uses only standard ingredients, yet the massive hit of brandy and cream, what's not to like! Although you can use whatever steak you can afford, the dish cries out for a really nice steak such as tenderloin or New York strip. A great retro recipe that's as good today as it ever was
A British dish that everyone thought was French :)

Haven't had this in decades.. A PT used to love it & her husband made it for her while she was dying of cancer. I don't think I have had it since.
My Mother made this for us❤️ Thanks for sharing.
I just happen to watch this video 2 days ago and since i have all the things needed I immediately tried this recipe. Oh boy! it's really mouth watering. I'm an Asian and tried this with both rice and mashed potato and it taste heavenly. Thank you for sharing this to us. Looking forward to more of your videos.
Thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's one of my favourites! :)

Many thanks. I am trying to get better with each video :)
Thank you.
Superb❤❤❤ friend
За рецепт спасибо! Но приятнее смотреть без этой фоновой музыки. Звуки готовки прекрасны сами по себе ❤
Noted. Thanks for your comment. I agree. I have another video in a similar way that is due for release, but after that, I will be making some changes and hope they make it better. :)
@@Recipeengine thank you for your answer! Have a nice day! :)
😋👏
At 0:52 you are chopping up some shallots but it is labelled as "scallions". Scallions are spring onions.
Good grief! Genuinely never noticed before. Not sure how that would get in as its not normally a word I would use! Apologies about that. :)
Delicious, that meat looks very lean. Not an ounce of fat. Thanks for sharing your video.
Thank you!
Fat is a good thing.
Little ditty... bout Steak Diane
New friend full watch 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹💕💕💕💕😍🤝🤝🤝🤝
What kind of steaks? There are varieties of steak out there
Hi Sally. Sorry, I would use either tenderloin (filet) or sirloin (New York strip). :)
@@Recipeengine thank you
Allah ... Allah... Allah.
Мяся похоже на резину?)0)))
Мясо*
Definitely not the best steak. All I could get at the time though. Still tasted good! :)
Done if you have cheap chewy meat.
Yeah. Not the best steak to use to be honest, but all I had at the time
Looks like chicken fried steak???
Steak Diane is NOT about a Mushroom Sauce . Diane Sauce is a Thickened Worcestershire Sauce , Sauce .
No such thing.
@@byteme9718 . Diane Sauce , is a Worcestershire sauce , based Sauce/Gravy . That Better for you ?
Definitely not a Mushroom based Sauce/Gravy .
@@johncunningham4820 Not really. The Worcestershire sauce is a small component of a mushroom/cream based sauce.
@@byteme9718 . Incorrect .
Mushrooms are OPTIONAL , but the Cream and Worcestershire Sauce are Not .
@@johncunningham4820 So we agree, you were wrong and its not based on Worcestershire sauce.
Not sweating the mushrooms is cringe
Uh, maybe wash your fresh picked parsley. Unless you want dirt in your food. Christ…
How many people died from unwashed parsley? 😂
Nice dish but very boring video
Only the peanut butter was missing and then we could sing the American national anthem.
emmmmmmmm no thanks
