- The Florida Keys is an amazing place to visit .Today we jump on my totaly inflatable soft bottom inflatable and explored areas around long key. The Achilles 8 foot hypalon inflatable was powered with a 4 hp Yamaha 4 stroke outboard. We had 2 people on board and did roughly 6 to 7 mph going with the current.

I love the maze of houses along those canals, it's got to be so cool to have your boat right there off the back deck..
Yes, the Keys really are amazing, and anyone who hasn't been, should go. It's not cheap, as tourist paradises go, so budget the trip in advance, realistically, so shortage of funds does not become the factor to keep you from having the vacation of your life. And get ready to fall in love. If you love the marine world of the great outdoors, with all the fishing, diving, snorkeling and being able to snorkel for your supper as child's play, then this place with all its tranquil natural beauty is going to grab you and it never lets go. Addenda: When the weed gets thick sometimes, it's not a problem; the fishing just gets even better. Those two short periods in this part of the world each summer that the jellyfish get this thick, well, that's when the locals can find any number of other pursuits than being in the water for a few days.
Coral Gables 🌴🇺🇸 GREAT memories of how it was down there before expansion. WOW , every inch is built on. 👎 Still beautiful tho 👍 🏄
So cool Alfred. I love this Dingy Series. You’d never see the back creeks with out the Dingy 🍻 from 🇨🇦
I love every time you take us out on the water. 🐊
I love this series of your shows Alfred. Have a great day bro.
Thanks for sharing your time Alfred 👍👍🐊
Hell yeah, Dinghy series is back! Should be a good one in the keys🍻
Ur dinghy series makes me feel good about owning a 130 whaler
Videos much better when you have a driver and you focus on showing us the sights. Very enjoyable stay safe
Thanks for the trip in the dingy I love it it brings me back in time to my own
Yo Alfred, up here we call those houses on/near the water BUNGALOWS. Our's do not have axles and they are not converted mobile homes either. I remember visiting family that lived in a bungalow on Staten Island as a kid. It was an old one as well, built sometime after WWII I believe. Great trip as usuall!
yeah finally , the Dinghy Series in the Keys ! Thanks Alfred
Can't wait to see your new series!
Thank you for another great tour!
Yo Alfred, you live in paradise my friend!

Awesome , Thanks Alfred 😊
Thanks for another great video
Hey Alfred…. We rent all winter at Outdoor Resorts Long Key! Pretty cool to see you there. We’ll look for you this winter!
Ok, only just seen the start, and that floating weed.
Why not use a Prop guard like on the Life guard boats.
Works on the rocks as well, so long as you don't lock the motor tilt function.
Such calm narrow water, I used to Ocean boating, straight off gravel Beach, rocks all around, into waves most of which were 3 foot curlers, depending on tide, wind.
Going to watch more now,
Cheers.
Hermoso lugar, gracias por el video.
Beautiful surrounding wow
When the current was ripping and pushing you into the bridge, I really was expecting you to say " Wait for it! Welcome to the chit show!"
Did you see how fast that currentbwas ripping !
@@AlfredMontaner Yeah, that was impossible to predict, right? 🤣
Good video looking forward for some fishing videos with this inflatable
Looks like outdoor resorts in long key? If so i spent many Christmas’s there with my family as a child. Great memories, that tiki hut is something special
Alfred, it's been a few years, but the keys are great. My second wife and I did our honeymoon in the keys and stayed just south of where you are at on Fiesta key.
Fiesta Key is also cool
The beginning of the video is my canal 😍
Beautiful day 🌞
And where's your life vests the pair of you. Oh yes, i forgot, you're invincible. Kids are watching Alfy.....
So are these house disposable when the storms hit?
,, they look like they are 12" above the water..
Invading the canals! Yes!
super mega coll video
Awesome ,the American Rivera in my opinion. I could be wrong, but I don't think it gets any better than this, in the US.
Always wanted a piece of the Keys.
Lately, it's painful to wonder who might end up with all of this, if and when this Country bankrupts itself.
Alfred, hello, thanks for this TRIP, TRICK QUESTION, ;WHAT SEA HAS NO COASTLINE ? Answer , THE SARGASSO SEA;! Stay well, 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I commented this in one of your other clips, but nobody replied. As you spoke about weeds and rocks here, it might be good to raise this subject again. Years ago, outboards had shear-pins in their lower units so if the drive is over-bound by weeds or the prop hits a rock, the shear pin snaps and although the motor still runs, the propeller won't turn. It is always wiser to carry spare pins and the appropriate tools to replace the broken pin, but you need to row ashore to be able to do it safely. I assume modern outboards still have these safety devices, so it is better to be prepared than having to row back to where you started.
What’s up man sweet place we caught some nice cobia today
Usually just throwing the motor into reverse gear for a few seconds gets the grass off.
That would be nice some coffee
Whiskey Creek from Plantation no problem.
I came, I saw, I cavitated. Problem in Ohio this summer.
Would like to see if you guys would do a fishing trip video?
Sombrero reef? I’ve been there before!!
With the sargassum comes the relentless biting / stinging flies that are attracted by the putrid smell caused by dead shrimps and plankton and tiny crabs that hitch a ride on the seaweed. Beware of beached sargassum especially after bad storms at sea when choosing a beach to hang out at.
I heard that there is a piece of land in this area that is not recommended to live in, is that correct?
just put it in revers for a bit to clean the prop
First. Thanks for the video.
Karen Fyhr, hi, sure is lovely if you can afford the INSURANCE THERE ! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
😄
👍
Is dudes name "Odie" or "O.D"?

He needs to learn about the water and how to drive a boat he is a googan!
Nope, I swim no where there is something swimming in there thats bigger than me..
That's the fanciest looking trailer park that I have ever seen.
Sar-GASSOM, not sargasm!
STOP Following the slick of seaweed!!!
