One of the nicest crew quaters I've seen on any yacht you have videoed -- crew heads have separate showers, all crew staterooms have portlights, and the crew mess is truly livable. An owner who wants to keep his crew happy.

The one thing I look for in an explorer is access to the crew cabins without going out onto the weather deck, and this fails in that regard. The captain's cabin is great, but anyone else would have to go out in heavy weather to move from the crew cabins to the rest of the boat.

And to add to this discussion…
On a 34m yacht is unforgivable to not have crew/guest separation!
Imagine that every time a crew has to pass while you are relaxing in the salon or having a dinner outside, just so he can go to his quarters?!
I understand that on some yachts, crew and the owners are close… but even then, privacy(intimacy) is important for both sides!

Wonderful that this was built with a wheelchair in mind. I don't know if you remember this but just before the Pandemic broke you and I spoke regarding a SunReef cat I was looking at. I explained to you then that as I am in a wheelchair I was looking at cats because they are wider and therefore better for people with mobility issues. I'd like to see more boatyards offer options for disabled people. Maybe it would help encourage more of us in to boating.

One of the nicest vessels I've seen at 112ft. Esp as disabled friendly. The lift sold it for me. But the whole vessel is awesome. I've never seen a better crew mess and cabins on anything that size. Even mega yachts are hard pushed to offer that space. Absolutely amazing. If I were to win 150 million euro millions jackpot. I'd definitely buy one.

Such a gorgeous craft. Beautiful lines that flow like the wind. Wheel chair access necessitates an open floor plan that eliminates the sometimes close quarters feel of many yachts. Designers should take that into consideration. I'm not fond of the color palette of the interior design (over bland, lacks contrast, no or few accents), but the materials are top notch. Pure luxury. And yes, I'll take the teak hand rails over stainless steel any day of the week. Teak can be polished and sealed, or left raw and sealed, and look beautiful with little maintenance for a lifetime. Polished stainless steel requires constant cleaning so it doesn't look used. Brushed stainless would be a second alternative to teak.
Another wonderful video tour, you guys rock!

SQ1, you managed to dim the beauty of this stunningly gorgeous MY! I must hire this couple to consult on my next MY. Rico, I don't care what they correctly call the salon flooring, it's Herring Bone! Not overly ostentatious like on many MYs but a very down-to-earth comfortable home feeling throughout. This ship is definitely in the top five of where to plagiarize ish ideas. The bridge is stunning, might even rival SQ1...umm...nooo.!! What an amazing yacht. It’s has to be the nicest wheelchair accessible yacht. I love the interior as well. The one thing I am amazed that I have not seen on a yacht yet is an automatic sliding door. It would eliminate the need to “press the button” to go inside. A simple “kill” switch on the inside would bypass the sensor.
Beautiful interior. I really liked it, as I am not a fan of the glossy lacquer interiors.
Thanks for asking about that compass hanging from the ceiling. I have seen that before but never knew what it was.

Van der Valk just got onto our list of candidate builders, especially seeing as how they made the build accessible. That owners suite on the top deck, omjeebus as Rico says. With my wife's disability, and having to use a wheelchair full time, it's great to see a builder beside COHH (in turkey) design things so well. The owners made a terrific build and the interior choices get 2 thumbs up from us. Kudo's for the crew quarters and their galley, that level of space is a must for you to have a happy crew. My wife liked the colours, instant win there, and having too many mirrors detract from the view out the windows in your salon. It makes total sense to make those wonderful views out those windows the centrepiece. And those mufflers in the engine room! OMJeebus again. the work stations and for how cramped it looked to me, it seemed a yoga free area. 😁

Nothing like fresh ground coffee beans and that smell..................it's those tiniest of details for me sometimes, which are really nothing to swap out. the tvs I would have a pictrure frame around, so it could be used with a wallpaper or screensaver images, would look far more discrete. Like i said, it's details for me. Maybe smart mirrors in the bath room for temperatures and weather, time etc.

The videos you shoot are really interesting and I must say that the lady is really engaging with the way she tells and anticipates the movements of the camera that follows her everywhere! Really good! Have a nice day.

@20:27 - Guess what, I could grab few pillows and jump into that space to watch the waves splashing (Well, if it can hold some weight)!!! What a spot to watch the seas and the journey..!! I can sit there for hours and read books!!

The two 49" 32:9 ultrawide monitors in the bridge really elevates it. Looks so much better than using 4 to 6 16:9 monitors for equivalent screen space.

I think the decor word you wanted is 'contemporary' which could be modern
with a classic twist, maybe. I would call the overall design 'quiet.'

This Van der Valk is truly great. It is actually wheelchair accessible with proper showers and hand rails. The design is clean and luxurious. Heating allows access to the North. Range is good and fuel consumption reasonable. It is missing a sun deck, a Jacuzzi and enough toy storage but it is 34 m. This is value for money.

My new forever favorite 112 ft. Yacht. I love the upper master suite with the private deck and view. Also the elevator is awesome. 😊

I so love watching your videos. When I get that much money, that will be the ship I would own. Out of all the videos (and I've seen em all) that is by far the best dress that you have worn, my hat off to the designer and you wear it beautifully Victoria. Thank you both

I love this yachtbuilder, they do amazing work. What I love about this vessel is the handicapped accessibility, but it is not obvious. Beautiful interior and exterior design. You need to check out the Meteor concept that they have,

Hi. What's so pleasant on this vessel is the room... Nobody wants to put as many as you can but just what you need.!! Love that...! Just a detail.., look the vue from the captain room..!!! Tells you everything. When you can mind about your crew..., you got the match. That is so simple mate. Love you....

The floor is called a Chevron Parquet I am not sure if anyone told you as of yet but that is what you call it. "Cheers!"

9:13 I believe that's called a chevron pattern, although I'm not an expert on flooring. Herringbone would be if the boards were still squared and not cut to create the long straight lines.

This was a great tour of a great explorer yacht. Very clean with plenty of storage and completely wheelchair accessable! The Captain was very helpful and soft-spoken. The bridge was impressive!! But, Victoria, if you trade with Rico, please do not make him where the blue striped dress....I think a light pink chiffon would be perfect....hahahaha kidding Rico!!! Cheers guys!!

It's really a super gorgeous yacht, with a lot of cool and unusual design choices. The space that a 111 feet length and 26 foot beam boat gives allows the designers to do some amazing things that are much harder on smaller boats.
