    Lovely boat and good to see a boat with easy of access and space for wheelchairs or people who have mobility problems. A comfortable and safety conscious boat. Thanks Hugh

    Absolutely stunning. Probably the nicest boat I’ve seen. The layout, style and quality of finish are all superb.

    Thanks Hugo, brilliant tour!
    The design is one of my favourite yachts you’ve shown us. Wheelchair friendly or not, it’s superb. Love it!

    All I can say is that I fell in love with the girl who opened the engine room door for you......everything else is just a haze after that😍 But knowing your past work, I am sure it was a great walk through)

    Sumptuous and opulent, without looking trashy…….. love the upper master suite, particularly the private sun deck aft…… unlike most “private” decks, this one can only be accessed through the cabin, so is actually private…… brisk displacement speed is spot on with quality drive train, big under-stressed engines and immaculate technical spaces…….
    Very nice, alas, I won’t be travelling on it any day soon…… 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

    Very nice yacht, but the wheelchair accessible moniker is a bit much. I look at this yacht as being like any other rather than one designed specifically for wheelchairs, but maybe that's what they were going after. As someone who can walk, but would need an electric chair to get about on a yacht, the passerell doesn't seem passable without help, and that would be a must to have , for me. I don't want to bother anyone with my problems, and want, need to be autonomous getting on, and off the yacht. Otherwise, great start to an actual wheelchair friendly yacht. 👍✌😎

      im a T12/L1 parra and i doubt even i can get on and off that boat without help or even with , its way too narrow and has steps

    Love the wood colours and marble colours/styles in bathroom areas...great looking boat.I reckon this 10-12 million uk pounds.Too big and costly plus would need crew,engineer and staff...massive wage bills plus normal costs....ouch!

      I don't think anyone owning something like this is worried about maintenance or crew cost.

    Goga (the Benetti Byond 37) is right next door! Oh, how I wish someone proper (like Hugo!) would film that vessel.
    This was quite an innovative yacht though; a completely wheelchair-accessible yacht is certainly rare.

    i was so happy when i saw the video title but a electric wheelchair cant get into that elevator. the rear would badly scrape..well..everything

  • @mjr320
    @mjr320 6 месяцев назад +1

    i personally do not think anything on that boat is wheelchair accessible, access ways are too narrow for any wheelchair and shower and bathroom facilities are too small for someone to transfer into with enough maneuvering space for their nurse/helper. At best this boat is accessible for someone elderly or who has trouble using stairs

  • @nhunter4498
    @nhunter4498 Год назад

    My opinion but it’s not really or fully wheelchair accessible, but it’s mostly people who don’t even use wheelchairs designing most of the “wheelchair accessible” places. But it’s the thought that counts. Thanks

    a lovely boat but not a fan of the interior design. and the range/speed figures are perfect. it feels quite antiseptic to me. quite sterile and cold. unfortunate as i have always found the ducth boats to be my preferred style.

  • @shrews13

    No way is that accessible to anyone using a wheelchair. Doorways are way too small. Walkways are way too small. There may be some places that you might be able to squeeze a very skinny person in. But not your typical user. Most of the time.

  • @melin1969
    @melin1969 2 года назад +4

    sorry but theres no way this is wheelchair friendly , id like someone to sit in a chair a normal sized one and do a tour of the boat , doors need to be at least 32inch wide as would the entry walkway part , i havnt seen 1 bathroom anywhere near big enough for a wheelchair either and access to that lift is practically impossible , assuming were not talking about walking wounded who can actually stand and walk a bit , im paraplegic and i can tell you that boat is offlimits with the exception of the owners cabin and even that bathroom you have to stand or walk to use

    • @hugoandreae3785
      @hugoandreae3785 2 года назад +6

      Well it was commissioned by and built for a wheelchair user so you have to assume they were happy with the design

    • @freesoul3371

      @@hugoandreae3785If you are ina wheelchair and non ambulatory you are not functioning in that boat. It is almost entirely not wheelchair accessible.

  • @WheelchairGuyHobbyChannel

    How is this “wheelchair accessible”? You had to step onto the gangplank and then you went up some steps. OH, AN ELEVATOR! But still, stepping onto the gangplank and then up the steps to GET TO THE ELEVATOR! This is not wheelchair accessible!

  • @bradgrove9988
    @bradgrove9988 2 года назад

    This is NOT a wheelchair accessible yacht. Just because it has a lift doesnt make it so... I cant think of any wheelchair that could access any of the rooms, plus none of the bathrooms are accessible; neither is a beach deck.

  • @FireDeptMusicGroup
    @FireDeptMusicGroup Год назад

    It’s not wheelchair accessible though. There’s a small step before the ramp even ends & did u have to step up to get on the ramp? Then u had to go down stairs to get in the cook room. Very much NOT wheelchair accessible.

    Must be so stressful to be crew on a yacht. So cramped, zero privacy or private life etc. I hope robots will replace them in the future.

    • @kokomo9764
      @kokomo9764 2 года назад +5

      I hope robots never replace a human crew, that would be horrible. The crew are young and don't mind their accommodations, if they did they would simply change careers. You seem to think crew life is miserable, it is not! They travel and are well paid, most are very happy to have the job.
