Honestly, I don't know why every yacht doesn't have it. You would think that a yacht that has everything, should have an elevator. Not everyone that is wealthy enough to own a yacht can climb so many stairs.
I have noticed some of the newer yachts, particularly many built in Europe, do not have much woodwork. I think the woodwork on this yacht is very beautiful.
We're used to seeing luxury yachts, but this yacht is at another level, and another fine example that age is only a number, lovely lighting and an excellent vlog team
This has pretty much everything I could want. The decor is pretty much bang on the mark if I was to build a bespoke yacht for myself. The master cabin and that office are exactly what I would want. That full deck elevator is crucial for me as my knees would not long tollerate constantly navigating stairs. The sundeck has all the essentials (and I too would have the exercise gear there). Really nice crew quarters and work areas which is essential to recruiting and keeping a great crew IMO. The massive storage is critical for me given my dream is to circumnavigate the globe. VERY nice yacht.
Such a classy design. I absolutely love the cream and warm wood contrast. The arches are a nice touch. Thanks for letting me live vicariously through your channel, David! Cheers from Kansas City, USA.
Now, that's a proper walk through! 😊 Love the GA overlay, and of course seeing everything. A top-to-bottom elevator is great (must-have actually), and a nice bright galley. I've noticed that there's always something really inviting about Christensen yachts, and they're generally more generous with crew spaces as well. Nice one 👍
No offence to aquaholic and Nautystyles or other yacht channels but you alongside Richard Evans are certainly the best hosts/presenters. Elegant, genuinely interested and enthusiastic about the vessels, with a great flow and a nice video style. Great job!
Definitely giving Aquaholic a run for his money. Your presentations have really improved. It's almost to the point of who's style of presentation do you prefer? Keep up the good work! Fabulous yacht. I like this manufacturers' style. Functional, beautiful, but nothing garish. All very tasteful. I wonder if a yacht like this would have a heating system that could handle the coastal waters of British Columbia Canada? 🇨🇦
An excellent and thorough walk through David. Really enjoyed it and the workmanship was truly outstanding. Looks more like a five star hotel in places. Beautiful superyacht.
Amazing craftsmanship. Just goes to show you can design and construct to the goal of timelessness. This style will always be in style, despite any modern trends. Stunning. I thought the lower deck was the owner suite, then you got to the real one - amazing.
I will take it. It does tick off almost all of the boxes. Those it doesn't can be retrofitted. I absolutely love the wood. Another yacht that I love is M/Y Blue Moon. Thanks, David for a great tour.
Hello David, this is my third view of the video :) before writing this comment. This yacht is one of my two favorites with "Cecilia", I understand the word "Mi Amore". There are videos so beautiful to watch and which sometimes gives regrets. This video is part of it The quality of the video is superb, showing the position on the yacht makes it possible to understand the journey inside this palace. Thank you for presenting this jewel in such a beautiful way.👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏
Wow! Definitely an elegant ship without being too ostentatious or opulent. This is a prime example of why I love the 150'+ superyachts. Would only make three changes to her (bridge windows, repair crew seat, and paint the hull).
...beautiful unique beginning to this walkthrough...relaxed, subdued elegance with this neo-grecian goddess...prime choice is the use of soft pristine white leather, chrome & jet black touches, although below decks the gentle harmony of subdued gem tones with the warmth of the superb wood...makes for sweet dreams...🇬🇷
Great video sir. Now this is finally an interior design that is very well done. Elegant without being stuffy or ostentatious. My changes would be to make the interior woodwork finish satin vs glossy. I also would change the ironwork patterns from the scroll design to a more modern non-curvy stryle.
I must say dollar for dollar one of, if not the best, motor yacht I've ever seen you show and I believe I've been watching since your inception. Granted it's not the biggest, or the newest, but what you are receiving at this particular price point is an exceptional value. Don't imagine it will be available very long. Cheers.
The engine has had an overhaul, but that doesn't mean it lasts forever. And then there's the fiberglass hull, which also has a limited lifespan. Unlike the engine the hull can't be replaced. I'm quite sure the yacht will still last another 10 years without any major issues though, maybe even 15 with a bit of luck and a few replacements here and there. But whether the purchase price corresponds to 1.5 million or 2 million per year doesn't matter that much. The running costs are far higher. Every owner knows a yacht is a money pit, and they're OK with that. What distinguishes one yacht from the other is therefore not a financial matter, but a matter of taste.
This yacht is so gorgeous and so perfect, it is truly one of about 5 yachts I've ever seen where I wouldn't change anything. 4 Rose's, Rebel, Gallant Lady, and Mizu would be the others.
Your channel is by far the most professional among yacht review channels. Always full or relevant information, presented in a calm and orderly fashion. You really know the business inside out, unlike wannabes such as Aquaholic who have never owned or sold a yacht. I also appreciate that you are open to all comments, even the most critical ones. Keep up the good work.
Mind your tongue. We're going to be generous and assume that you are new to RUclips's boat channels. Aquaholic is a highly regarded retired broker with decades of experience and presently is the owner of his second or third Jeannau coastal cruiser.
@@fazzaz31 I'm not minding my own free speech because the Though Police aka yourself thinks I need to be censored because I don't behave like the other sheep. Hi David, perfect walk-through of an awesome yacht, a yacht so perfect no one would change anything, you showed the engine room in detail and mentioned the engines had been rebuilt, but for tech nerds like me, it would have been important to mention that they are "MTU 4000s" a huge upgrade over the 2000s, I am sure you know that. I look forward to your next unique walkthrough, thanks David
One of the loveliest yachts I´ve seen. The space from the video seems like a much larger vessel and the interiors are just gorgeous. I´m sue this yacht won´t stay in the market for long.
There is something an "older" yacht has, that is missing from many of the more modern build ones. And from time to time I think I get it. It is a feel of sophistication of grace and elegance that simply is lost in many modern designs. They might be much more fancy or much more extravagant but sometimes they lack heart, and heart is something that does grow over time.
Super clearly intended for charter, not for owners. I don't like yachts with bars all over the place; it feels like I'm in a hotel instead of a home. (I'm sure it doesn't help that I don't drink.) But I like the elevator and the extra bunks in the guest rooms. And that bathtub is lovely.
10.52 I like how the Master Office leading into the Master BR isn't a straight shot into the ensuite or the bed. In this one you see not much more than a chaise and a wall for some indirect privacy.
I was looking at 164 foot Christensen yacht Jackpot which described an elevator in the comments although never showed or even mentioned in the video.. Now I understand how the elevator must work on that ship as well.. 👍
If I had this yacht, SPECTRE would have to promote me to Chief Bond Villain. It just oozes class, power, and elegance. All I need is a fluffy white cat.
I love the accessibility provided by the elevator. This allows everyone to enjoy the yacht even if mobility impaired. I am glad you didn’t set the table as the woodwork is beautiful. Adding the GA is helpful.
I thought that was a pop up TV, then I thought dumbwaiter, then David got in it.. I laughed at myself a bit. That's a lot of boat for that price point - could be a great charter vessel.
I have a question for you Dave. On numerous videos I have heard you mention that if you are chartering your yacht it is limited to 12 guests. When I finally buy my yacht, I have no desire to ever charter it out, and have strangers sleeping in my bed. If I simply register it as a private luxury yacht, are there any restrictions as to how many guests I can invite onto my yacht? I understand that there needs to be sufficient life jackets and life raft space for everyone including the crew.
God, the woodwork on this yacht is amazing. For me, this is a timeless design and I hope whoever owns this 20 or 30 years from now don’t change it. You just don’t get this level of woodwork these days. It’s expensive and those that can do it are few and far between. Sometimes I look at some of the interiors on this channel and think “What were they thinking”! Sure it’s nice now, but what about five years from now. Often I wonder if that’s why they end up selling them later.
Another good walk-through. ABS is simply one of the many members of IACS (Internation Association of Classification Societies) and is not really near the top.
Linda embarcação, linda marcenaria, excelente apresentação e otima opçã de compra. Parabeeens..ET..qto seria a manutenção de um iate desta categoria, Mensal, anual.?
While everyone has their own personal tastes, and opinions, there is nothing wrong with that. However, someone once said "if you walk into an art gallery and you meet the artist, would you ask the artist to change the art from their creation?" If the means to own a yacht were not now only limited to my dreams whilst sleeping, and the opportunity to obtain ownership did in real time exist, the first order is to purchase and the second order is to then create the changes more suitable to my own ideas and preferences. Otherwise, it is just better to contact the shipyard and and have them build your own M/Y from the hull up, your way. 🤗 🤣 🍷
I would suggest you actually do some of that in reverse. If you wanted to build you own yacht, it always better for everyone if you put down on paper first what you want to do with the yacht like chartering it, private ownership or light charters. How many guests do you want, any supernumeries and depending on size of the yacht and level of service you want, how many crew and then where do you want to go with it and how often will you be rolling into Port or are you just hanging out on the reefs, islands, open ocean, etc and only coming to Port when you need food, fuel or the garbage dumped. That brief is what will tell your broker what company would be a good fit for you, or if it's your first yacht, maybe a used yacht that can be refitted or just something you get to get a better idea of what you want. Then you sell it to build your custom yacht. Some yards that build 'custom' though are really only semi-custom, but their are yards out there like Van DerWalk or Moonen, Golden Yachts. Alpha, And a few others that will build you a strict custom yacht. Size, materials used, etc. As long as a naval architect can get it to float, then they'll build it.
Lovely video and a gorgeous boat. But can you get your sound mixer to even out the music volume with your voice. I had to crank the volume to hear you, then the music blew my ears out.
There is no way I would want to be a crew on these type of yachts. Charter guests can be very very demanding and high strung which Makes for long days. One thing I haven’t seen on these large yachts are well outfitted libraries that are warm and inviting. A cuppa with A large window. Close the door and be shut off from all the human noise.
Every yacht needs that elevator, no questions asked. 👏
I think the woodwork on this yacht is very beautiful.
yes, and when they do it is not as splendid as the best ones. It is a key criterion, what makes a yacht really a yacht and not just a damned boat.
I agree 100%.
I honestly hate wood and wood color
I really wish you would give the range it's extremely frustrating that your channel never does. David I love this style and thanks
Thanks David and the gang, nicely done.
Sweet! A half hour walkthrough of a big, beautiful superyacht, by David Seal. How to make my morning. 🙂

Beautiful Wood interior always give a warm comfort homey feeling (unless to much light color wood is used) Thank you for another excellent video Sir.

Personally I like Nautystyles and others , for the tours inside and the ocasional talk with captain or crew
It's nice to see the great ideas used in yachts, and take design inspiration from them to Bed & Breakfast modern homes...
An excellent and thorough walk through David. Really enjoyed it and the workmanship was truly outstanding. Looks more like a five star hotel in places. Beautiful superyacht.
Spectacular selections of amenities well planned throughout.
Amazing craftsmanship. Just goes to show you can design and construct to the goal of timelessness. This style will always be in style, despite any modern trends. Stunning. I thought the lower deck was the owner suite, then you got to the real one - amazing.
A fantastic yacht. Wonderfully presented. In perfect condition. A dream.
David, this is an outstanding yacht and she ticks all the boxes and then some. The interior in my opinion is perfect, there is nothing to change.
I will take it. It does tick off almost all of the boxes. Those it doesn't can be retrofitted. I absolutely love the wood. Another yacht that I love is M/Y Blue Moon.

Beautiful super yacht David thanks for showing us.
What a great idea to begin like this. You"ve given a great idea of the immense scale of a yacht that's "only" 157ft. Very cool. Very clever.
Aside for the impressive layout, it’s the exquisite carpentry that features throughout the yacht that really stands out to me.
Very much my taste, when it comes to luxury yachts. Classic elegance. Now I just have to wait for a big lottery win. 🤞🏻🙂
Love the decor on this one. Classic and elegant.
What a gorgeous yacht... she is astonishingly appointed well. Definitely a big dream yacht to want. Cheers David!
Beautiful woodwork throughout, and yes very good use of space.

Wow, the stuff of dreams, absolutely stunning 😍.

Always find the American Yachts have such amazing uses of space. Felt much bigger inside than it looks from the outside
Fantastic video, David and team!
wow i am in love. this must be the most beautiful yacht i have ever seen .
A yacht completely but around a owner. 😍 you could no design such a beautiful yacht.
One of the loveliest yachts I´ve seen. The space from the video seems like a much larger vessel and the interiors are just gorgeous. I´m sue this yacht won´t stay in the market for long.
Just wow! Maybe in the future you can also discuss the differences between the ABS, MCA, Lloyds Register and Rina.
Beautiful interior!
Always a pleasure to whatch bro. Awesome bro

You have good taste David😉👍🏼All plastic fantastic dosent measure up against the warmth and soul in real wood ..art,in this case.
Love the channel! David is the best. Hope to buy a yatch soon!!! hope, hope, hope!!!

Your two adjectives "sumptuous" and "elegant" were very appropriate.
Although I love Nicks videos, your presentation editing and camera photography is exceptionally good.

beautiful yacht😃 thanks fore the tour. trade with my Aygo ? 😂😂😂
I thought that was a pop up TV, then I thought dumbwaiter, then David got in it.. I laughed at myself a bit. That's a lot of boat for that price point - could be a great charter vessel.
Not a pop up tv, more of a pop up tardis.
Did seem that the GT was well proportioned. I struggle with this style over Italian styling…but still a yacht you could be proud of.
Great heart to to heart truth

Excellent boat! I wouldn't change a thing....well, except the name...my ex wife was named Lisa....I'd have to change that ASAP.
You had me at beer and burgers… I’ll take three

Love to cruise the world one day on a boat. One like this. Be amazing. This is epic.
I want to buy it! What are your Hire/Purchase terms?
Seems bigger than 150’.
One thing you didnt mention, Distance and Speed...
When you disappear in elevator that was enexpected and amazing moment
😍
The exterior is a little drab, but that interior is awesome.

Can you do a vid on Sea Owl the one they are showing is 9 years old and isn't good ?
It's unfortunate that Christensen is no longer around 😕

Too much of lacquer wood and green marble... It looks like a house on water, old style vessel 👎👎👎
