I LOVE that massive mirror in the bathroom. The whole boat is so light and airy.
Glad Sunseeker has you back aboard; you're probably their biggest marketing asset, besides the people who make the photo and GA albums. Fantastic layout on this boat.
Definitely a beautiful yacht, really nice finishes throughout and a nice layout, so spacious everywhere except the poor crew area which is a little cramped. I would keep the dining area on the main deck and I would have a hot tub up on the top deck. Nice to see you back with Sunseeker, great tour Nick thank you.

Not just the best, but the BIGGEST globally (I think). Nick has over half a million subs. Nautistyles has under half a million and they have, how can I put this, "prominent visual glamour appeal." MB&Y have fewer than 200K. BoatTEST have fewer than 200k. Boat Show just over 300k. Perhaps Sunseeker had hired that sacked lass from Bud Lite...

I saw the notification for this, and my first thought was “what will the team at Princess think about this!”. And then you mention the beef with Sunseeker in the first minute! Good to see you back on Sunseeker....frankly, it has been their loss, so good news that the individual has departed.
I always feel that Sunseeker fit out is a level above Fairline/Princess.....may be an illusion, but the fit finish looks tighter (less likely to rattle when underway), and the quality of the stainless steel always looks better.
Remember the Manhattan 50 which you covered a while ago with the new owners too? That was a 2005 boat and still looked perfect- bears out the original quality.
Man, I loved that boat!
The more access doors and sliding sunroofs the more opportunity for water ingress and staining as the boat settles in, so Sunseeker must be confidant of their quality with this one!
Not the prettiest Sunseeker I have ever seen, but beauty seems to be somewhat lost on the latest designs of all motor cruisers.

Great to see a new Sunseeker review again and pleased they came to their senses. Love the style and design of Sunseekers. Any chance of a tour of the Poole factory as would make an interesting comparison with Princess. Two great British boat building Companies. Hope that Smugglers isn’t being too abandoned at the moment with all of the great yacht tours going on. 🙂

Yep, have to agree, Sunseeker are an amazing vessel. I can understand, a new guy on the team, trying to make an impression. Unfortunately the only thing that makes an impression is how badly they have stuffed up a system that was working fine until they got involved. Also very glad that HR saw the correct response.

Having watched the Princess series, this level of boat is nowhere near the Princess. Some of the wooden cupboards look like they’ve come out of B&Q.

The main deck is unbelievably nice, it’s has to be the best I’ve ever seen on a 25 meter!!

An excellent video, as always. Just misses out on a perfect 10 because you forgot to mention the escape hatch while you were in the VIP bedroom, hopefully Sunseeker won't 'keelhaul' you for it. Thanks
Doesn't the Ocean 156 have a flip up cooking grill on the starboard side of the bathing platform? I think I saw where it is, but Nick did not even comment on it...let alone point it out and show us?
Also, at 4:20 or so, it looks like Nick walked right past a stern docking station...he even opened the storage cabinet RIGHT NEXT to it, and did not even mention the docking station. These are things that Nick normally never does, and it makes me think he was either very distracted by something, or he was being rushed along his tour by the crew or by the crowds.
Dam I'm out won't get to see this for a few hours

I expect the look of this is divisive given it's a cross between sports cruiser and trawler, but I think Sunseeker have nailed it. It looks better than the Princess X80 which is surely it's closest competitor, and manages to have more practical internal volume over the X80 as well.
The 900 mile range seems to be for 10 knots on SS's marketing, so I'd love to see w hat lower speeds can achieve. Especially if they offer an engine upgrade that allows one engine to turn both props, which can be more fuel efficient at around 6-8 knots. If that can push the range into a distance of around 1500 nautical miles, then this could even compete with the far less attractive trawlers!

I'm a huge fan of the main deck forward designated dining room, and the upper deck pilot house design 👍 the neutral finish is very good, calming and beautiful. The deleted docking station is weird, I'll assume that's an option??

I really like the main deck design - it looks great. My only gripes would be there's no charging points inside the Seabob lockers and there's no hanging locker in cabin four (the one with twin beds). Also the docking station makes no sense where it is - you can see at 22:14 that there's no view down to the back of the boat from that position and even seeing over the rail down the port side would be difficult. There doesn't appear to be one on the starboard side either unless it's supposed to go into the space you showed at 2:02.
Hi Nick, Yes Yes Sunseeker is back on Aquaholic and directly a big one this Sunseeker Ocean 156 with a nice cockpit but above all the combined salon aft in the middle the galley very spacious and at front de dining with open sliding door to the bow a nice zone for a aperitief or digestief after the dining great below 3 cabins and one maser all ensuite, The bridge on the upper deck with skylounge very need What a show Nick to much to tell great ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐

Do like the Sunseeker . The layout is amazing , but I can nothing compared to the princess brand with the engendering side of things. You can notice how different they are just in the engine room.
Anyone can make a boat o 0:15 r super yacht look great on the decks and cabins ,
But my view is it’s what goes on in the design and engineering side of things make some what miles apart
Master cabin on main deck is a must...

I hadn't realised the our host had not featured a sunseeker for a while, thinking about it, it was odd, Sunseeker really dropped the ball, badly managed.
Wonderful tour, great looking boat with fantastic layout but only 3 crew for a 156 footer? And no dedicated captain's cabin and crew's mess?

I was looking forwaed to this, but strangely I don't like it at all.
I don't know if is all the chrome, the lay-out or the interior materials, but the whole vessel seems really disjointed to me.
When did they start using weight instead of lengh.. its get confusing.
They're using gross tonnage, which actually relates to interior volume, and they are doing it because using the traditional length in feet would give no clue as to just how much space there is on this vessel.

LOL... just as Nick gets the Karen out of Sunseeker Marketing, a Karen gives grief to eSysMan (Yacht Report) at the Monaco Yacht Show. (And I know Nick didn't give a gender, I'm laying bets...)
It's a lovely boat, but the question I'd ask myself with £6.6M to spend is, would I buy a house by the sea for say £5M and a boat for £1M (leaving a bit of spare cash to cover running costs) or would I blow it all on this? At this price, particularly compared with real estate (which is an asset rather than a liability) I think it is a tough sell.
You're assuming that it's an either/or choice. At this level people are generally simply choosing what they want, so if they want a holiday house, they'll have that too.

I thought this boat was very disappointing. The fittings in the cabins look very cheap. Also I thought the crew area was terrible small, cramped and not a place the crew would be happy with, yes I know that they are there to work but they still deserve a decent mess area.
Easily resolved, buy a larger boat. 🙂
The crew area for this size of boat is pretty good.

I guess any vessel is vulnerable if in the wrong place and at the wrong time- there’s a rumour that if a super yacht moors in Dartmouth they might get boarded for a surprise boat review for instance

Really disappointing interior, I was expecting to get wowed and what I feel was meh, I've seen much better interiors on Princess and many other boats. I thought the galley and the heads spectacularly dull.
Then you would choose the finishes that you prefer.
They are so gorgeous on the inside, but just ugly on the outside.
