Damn I’m so happy you are getting more famous! I remember thinking like this guys one of the only genuine fishing RUclipsrs on he will make it big time, Here you are❤
Florida is beautiful hands down I'm blessed and honored to have roots from there. My father was a Florida native and he loved everything about it and I see why. Florida you have my respect.
You can fish on the same bridge. I used to fish there and caught all kinds of fish but, Tarpon fishing was the most fun. First you do it at night with clear skies and some moon light. You are going to need some heavy fishing equipment. I you need a big old grappling hook and a long rope. Also if you are way out on the bridge you will need some kind of net or long pole with a detachable hook to land the fish. It's a long walk to the end of the bridge with a big fish on the tow. The Technic is as follows. You walking troll the upside of the bridge current. The fish will be standing under the bridge with their heads against the current. You can catch fish on the down side but it's much harder. After you hook a fish you have throw the gear into the water with the rope attached of course. Hold on to the rope and slowly release until the gear is visible on the other side of the bridge. Your mate will have to lower the grappling hook in the light from the head mounted flashlight and catch the gear and pull it up. Never let go of the rope until your buddy has it in his hands. Now the fight can start. If the current is strong it will be a difficult to avoid the other bridge pillars and it's better to fish when the current goes the other way. You can use bait or lures. The tricky part is to get it past the pillars without getting snagged. When a pillar is coming wind up and jump the bait with a jerk so it flies in the air a bit. Then you just let the bait go in a bit under the next bridge gap. Don't try do do this trolling without a grappling hook system because you are not going to get even a small 10 pounder up.good luck
Brother I fish this bridge all the time with my boat and I catch hog fish and snapper and grouper and everything. My little secret to you is use a smaller bass hook because these fish are so smart on a circle hook even at a one odd They will pick it off every time. Small hook is the trick.
Fish the shadows bro...most of the bigger fish are hiding in the shadows near the pillars of those bridges. And if you can see the fish, the fish can see you too, so that will effect your strike rate too.
Two things that will help when fishing the keys increase your weight to hook to atleast 4ft and use small hooks with squid or glass minor you will get a better variety
All the bridges are alot more fun on the kayak especially when the weather is nice and water ia clear. I would rather fish from the bridge when its a little windy.
Gotta get into some deeper water out on the bridge.. shallow water equals small fish.. fish out into the shadows next to the bridge piling. I would've used that grunt on a live line, let it sit out there... Good video though..
I think thatvwas a black grouper. Those smaller fish are going to rip your shrimp apart add a small piece of fishbites to your hook. Try some shrimp scented procure on the plastic shrimp to add a littlescent to the action.
Great video man but i cringe at the nearly empty spool on the sienna lol! You'll be able to free spool line and cast a lot easier if it's filled. Stoked for the next upload.
I’ve been watching your videos for a long time now, and love what you do! But I’ve always wondered why you don’t talk much about what rods you have with you as I’d imagine space is limited on an RV, gear you recommend or highly favor, bag set up, etc. Just some ideas… I’ve learned so much and I Thank You!
Hey just a little suggestion when you hook your shrimp you can hook it through the body or the tail because most of those bridge fish target the tail so they can take your bait, love your videos though they are great
Bro I went fishing in Key West when my parents and I visited there back in the late 90s and I caught SO many red snapper, HUGE Jack Cravelle, some smaller red grouper, a bunch of mutton and yellow snapper, and I got the attention of a charter boat captain and his mate. He offered me a job, and then he took me to the Hog's Breath Saloon and bought me a shot of 190 proof rum. I was like 15, and when I drank that shot I thought my chest and throat were on fire. We stayed at the hotel at 0 Duval Street. It was alot of fun.
I went on a charter boat in St Thomas once while I was on a cruise and I caught some pretty serious barracuda, a 7.5 lb blackfin tuna (which I was told was rare for the parts), and a 58.5" Mahi Mahi. Granted it was a $1200 trip, but it was on a personal charter on a 44' boat and they took care of everything for us.
cast under the bridge that cars are on, You’ll have a higher chance of catching bigger snapper, grouper, & things of that nature. You dropping it straight down is just going to catch dinks.
Next time cast out under the drive bridge at the pylons. Thats where the bigger fish are. They run back and forth between pylons. Also this spot is bad because of how shallow it is. U should be fishing if u can see the bottom that clear because of depth.
Where should we fish next? 🤔🎣 What should we fish for? The water here in the Keys.. SHEESH
I love your saltwater vids, especially at the spot u were in lmao
Whens the next catch and cook creeks fishing?
Bro, you should hit up @AnglerUpTv and possibly do a collab. Bro is legit and knows some good spots all around Florida.
It would be cool if you fished in a kayak along the 7 mile bridge
Come to Asheville, NC
Living dangerously leaving your pliers on the ledge. 😂
You should do some underwater stuff, or out of your comfort zone i would love to see how that plays out
Yeahhhh solo alligator hunting with just a bait knife would be pretty cool.
@@Baseball4Life- lol
@@Baseball4Life- 😂😂
First, love your videos man
Grouper, possibly THE tastiest fish
I tend to insert a plastic bead between the sliding egg sinker and the swivel. The bead seems to prevent line fray at the knot to the swivel.
Damn I’m so happy you are getting more famous!

Beautiful Water I Love Seeing The Fish Swimming Below The Bridge.😊
Man being from Maryland I still remember all the different fish and color of the water in Tampa when we went a few years ago. Love the videos

If you haven’t, go eat at Burdines on Marathon.

All the bridges are alot more fun on the kayak especially when the weather is nice and water ia clear. I would rather fish from the bridge when its a little windy.
That seems like a Nassau Grouper, which are illegal to keep in Florida
What pound braid is on your blue lews combo?
Since your fishing Florida with snook and lots of structure I would make the leader like 1.5-2 feet

That’s what I’m saying he gets some shrimp procure he would see the difference big time
Great video man but i cringe at the nearly empty spool on the sienna lol! You'll be able to free spool line and cast a lot easier if it's filled. Stoked for the next upload.

You should take out the bike and ride down the bridge and fish different areas
That was a Black grouper😂 Also, there have been reports of ciguatera poisoning from consumption of the blue striped grunt - be careful!
Hey your one of my favorite fishing RUclipsrs and I just wanted to say keep up the good work
i live in florida and ive never been to the keys. i really want to tho
First state
You should go fish for Goliath groupers maybe even sharks!
i think you need to add more line to your reel
That water is incredible dude! Love that shrimp lure, what brand is that?
Voodoo
@@reecekenning7154 thanks man!

I have the same reel with the fake shrimp
Poor fish homie only takes 1 bite😂
can " I " get a video where you get more than one bite of fish =P
I believe that was a bumblebee grouper but not 100%
To your question, that was this juvenile black grouper
Hey just a little suggestion when you hook your shrimp you can hook it through the body or the tail because most of those bridge fish target the tail so they can take your bait, love your videos though they are great
Early gang
Use a little lighter weight and leader. It will make a huge difference.
Fishing rod and reel name?
