Nice to see you back, Diana. I’m so sorry to hear about your fibro diagnosis. I have it too, so I know what you’re going through and it’s no fun. It takes a while to settle into a meds and lifestyle pattern that works, so keep experimenting until you find the right balance that works for you. x

Diana Trout Yeah, it’s very frustrating having to stop and rest when you’re in the middle of something you’re enjoying, or having to miss participating in things because they’d push you too far outside your activity margins. That side of things really sucks. 😘

Hi Diana! So good to see and hear you! Conrats on the baby news :-) Wishing you all the best with the Fibro diagnosis, so sorry to hear that, take care of yourself and I hope for the very best with treatment, etc I was hoping you would pick the red paper for inside cover! It looks gorgeous with your eco paper. I'm curious about soaking bone folder in oil....? You did a great job with this cover, all the watercolor paper signatures will look great in in this journal. Thanks for sharing, hugs and good thoughts 💕

Lovely to have you back! I’ve missed you! Congratulations on becoming a grandma! Have you seen the Scottish granny on RUclips? I highly recommend it! Wonderful tip on rounding the edges and corners, don’t know why I never thought of that!!❤️

So glad to see you back! The Fibro diagnosis stinks. But... Congratulations on becoming a Grandma!! Yeah!!!! Quick question: on the Dock Blick site they have three different thicknesses for the binder board. Which one do you use, please? Thanks and I'm praying for your well being. :-)

Sorry to hear of your new membership to the Fibro Club. Sucks. I find some relief in my hands by wearing wrist/forearm splints overnight. It will take some time to settle on methods, meds, and other relief solutions. Be kind to yourself.

Thank you for the tip. I have a right hand splint that I wear but, really, I guess my left is getting pretty bad too.

For the most part, my illnesses are managed well, as long as I respect my limitations. Tho, last week I was making a dangle for a mixed media canvas and my left hand protested the use of jewellery pliers by freezing into a claw! I sometimes get into trouble holding stencils in place as well, so try to be careful not to overdo that. Just did a 10-day visit with my crafting buddy and with the exception of the jewellery pliers, experienced no major issues. I wore my splints every second night, didn't do any out of the house excursions for longer than two hours, had couple leg massages, made sure I ate and slept well and took my meds on time. It's all do-able once you get your routines figured out. I've had Rheumatoid Arthritis since 1981 and Fibro since 1990. We still enjoy doing your Sumi Smoosh as one of our fave activities. This time I learned to do chalk marbling. Was much fun and a lot easier than I expected.
