That’s me in the first video!! I was a Marine and my rank was Corporal. I was living in an apartment because I am married and that’s why I also have a dog. Thank you for those that already clarified that!!

When I was a teen, I was taught by my mom that a healthy man who depended on a woman wasn't a complete man. I learned to clean, cook, sew, etc. Now that my wife is disabled, I am honored to do it all for her since she did it for me for over 25 years. Nothing weak about it since I depend on nobody else and can survive on my own and live quite comfortably.

Its so sad how NK male soldiers can get married and have a family but women cant no matter what ranks you are.

I'm so grateful for her sharing her perspective. I hope she's having a happy life. From a woman soldier in the US.

I cant... this makes me so sad... women deserve so much more respect than that. A soldier is a soldier regardless of sex and deserves ALL of the rights and freedoms of the people they protect.

Edit: people keep commenting on the clueless and fix it comment and how they don't see it 😒I'm pretty sure I saw it when I posted this 1 month ago or I wouldn't have said it and it could've been deleted or maybe it was my mistake. I commented on what I saw but if ya'll don't see it that's also fine🙂🤷🏾‍♀️

I think her saying “Army” is the same as “Military”, i.e. “She is in the military.”

The first video is a female Marine, not an Army soldier. The "elastic" she used on her boot for the pant leg is called a blousing strap, some pants are made with a built in cord you can tie-but usually only on the expeditionary uniform. That second video bun is out of regulations-it's too far from the back of her head. They make maternity options for all the female uniforms. When a female is pregnant they send her to shore duty because she can't be in combat/deployed. After her maternity leave she is required to be back within weight/fitness standards and will go back to combat/deployment. You're also required to have a family care plan so that your kids are cared for when you're gone. In cases of single parents or when both parents are deployed (i.e. dual military marriages) the parents have to give guardianship to someone else (usually family or close friend) because you can't always take your kids with you where you go.

I know NK people have different views on "pets" but you should look into Military Dogs that serve the Marines and US Army. Both active and retired, you'll find some heartwarming stories.

My aunt is an ex-navy officer (I never remember her rank, but she was in the navy for a long time, around 10 years? She got in a near-fatal motorcycle accident and had to be discharged), but she still lives her life on strict routine. It actually helped my cousin out a lot to have a mom who understands the need for strict schedules. They’re both amazing women. My aunt has a little farm at her house with chickens, goats, cats, I think I remember some turkeys? But she likes to be self-sustaining, which, honestly, inspired me to want to live this way. She’s very tough.

I really do feel bad for North Koreans they really do have a heart and just like everyone else in the world . We in the US don't realise how fortunate we are to have the luxury to do things however this is peace time and curious of what war time would look like and I don't think that a lot of stuff that you seen his video would work during war.
