    I just found you and have wat hed 2 of your video's. Very good information. I help people with financing STR's here in the US. I coach new investors in this market. Many new investors think owning a STR is going to be easy income. I am also a RE Broker and the 3 most important things when purchasing RE is location, location, location.

    Thanks for the great video and thorough explanation.
    When using multiple platforms to advertise the property, how do you maintain the bookings so that if it is booked in one platform, then those dates are removed from the other platforms (to avoid double booking the property)?
    Cheers.

      Thank you 😊 You can use a channel manager which links all platforms under one system which eliminates double bookings. Alternatively you can (for free) get an ical link and import it from Airbnb into booking.com and visa versa which will do the same job though not instant.

      Awesome. Will be handy to automate in order to scale up.
      Which app is one example of this channel manager?
      Thank you!

      I always recommend Guesty. You can get a link to it in the description of the video and you get some bonuses/discounts for using the link

    We're planning hosting our apartment on airbnb. Its on the second floor without elevator. It is however 30 meters from a sandy beach? Is it a deal breaker? Does it worth it?

    • @davecordnerairbnbcoach
      @davecordnerairbnbcoach  4 месяца назад

      definitely not a deal breaker but even though you will make it VERY clear on the listing and in your communications that there is no lift, people will still not read it and then be annoyed when they arrive. You'll get some negative reviews about it but they will mean more people will realise there isn't one before they book lol

    New to BnB, my 5 star guests are 1-2 star guests for me. Why do hosts rate them so well? They were awful.
    So frustrating. The 2young men fishing with no stays, no reviews that stayed were immaculate and great guests.

    • @davecordnerairbnbcoach
      @davecordnerairbnbcoach  7 месяцев назад

      That's frustrating! I talked about this in another video. Lots of hosts use a 5* review for guests as a way to ask for one back. It makes the whole review system invalid and pointless!

    LOL at Dave continually pointing at other videos to watch on the screen, that aren't there.
    Where's the video editor save when you need it?!
    Great content as always and would love to hear more about your personal journey into STR's, what you'd do differently, the worst mistakes, and a step-by-step on listing a brand new Airbnb/STR in 2024: what's changed and what guarantees a better outcome?

      @davecordnerairbnbcoach  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hey Jon thanks for watching and commenting! I just looked back and all the "cards" throughout the video are showing correctly for me. Do they not show up as little black strips at the top right of your screen?
      Thanks for your feedback on future videos also. I've made videos around a few of them already but definitely come great requests and I appreciate them!

      @@davecordnerairbnbcoach yeah absolutely nothing for me: must be because I'm in Australia or watching on my TV?

    • @nitzanazran7703
      @nitzanazran7703 5 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Dave,
      It might depend what viewers are using to watch the videos.
      I can't see the suggestion cards in Brave browser, but I can see them come up when I viewed your video within the RUclips app.
