I have the Xmaxx and XRT. Out of the box, the XRT drives better, the body doesn't fly off all the time, the hinge pins stay in place, the stock tires are better, the body lasts longer, the rear hubs haven't broken yet, the arms are wider and I can put the power down better with 1/5 electronics. I like the XRT better 👍. Great bash and spot!. My XRT with the XLX2 and 1100kv 5687 HW motor with 30/47 gearing does 52mph off road 😂. I have aftermarket tires on mine.
Did you try more knobby tires for that type of terrain for better steering response? Seems like the stock XRT tires are more oriented toward a road course with some off-road capability.
Thanks for the vid mate! As an X-maxx owner my next purchase will be the XRT. Love the size and strength of these trucks. Max 6 and a proper servo for it are waiting. I don't bash super hard so think it'll be a great truck. Where is the track if you don't mind sharing?

Truck is a beast. There is nothing wrong with what an individual chooses. Truck is no worse or bad as compared to whatever. I own them and they are great. Everyone is ways in such a rush to nash Traxxas and some don't even own a traxxas product..
@hajile97 Traxxas make good rigs, but they are heavily overpriced, and the company has some pretty poor businesses practices. This is why people are so quick to trash them.
