    You guys should seriously consider opening shop somewhere in the midwest near the chicago area. You'd get loads of business being the only legitimate toyota lift shop in the region (starting with me lol)

    Nice videos! So do you replace the overload leaf in the rear with an add a leaf? And if so does the rear stiffen up or does payload increase/decrease?? Thanks

    • @88ROTORS
      @88ROTORS  4 года назад +3

      Stiffens up and payload decreases by about 10%. You can leave the overload spring on if you carry more than 1,000 lbs often but that will just make your rear sit higher.

      We no longer do. It’s too time consuming and we are a small shop that can’t have the lifts taken up for too long. We can turn over other jobs must faster. We did one of our own trucks last Sunday on our “closed” day though.

      @@Operation3Sixty I just got done ordering all the parts, having it installed in a month. From all the research I've done, consider these extras: diff drop kit, sway bar relocate kit(comes with Fox 2.5), extended brake lines, CV bearing replacement with bushing on drivers side.

    • @Operation3Sixty
      @Operation3Sixty 3 года назад

      @@rappinron1384 Diff drop and sway bar relocate comes with the kit i go, i shouldn't need extended brake lines but its on the list. I haven't read about the CV bearing replacement. Why is that important? The diff drop on the 3" lift should be fine, right?

    • @rappinron1384
      @rappinron1384 3 года назад +1

      @@Operation3Sixty The driver side CV has a needle bearing that goes bad quicker when the angle is changed from a lift. The diff drop will help that bearing last longer. Eventually it goes out, and should be replaced with the ecgs bushing. You will start to get noise from the CV when the needle bearing is going out. I'm getting it done with the lift so I don't have to go back later.
