Saw Small Batch for $150 and Single Barrel for $200. I'll pass every time at that price. As it was sitting next to a Rock Hill Farms for $499. I guess the lesson is never go hunting in a college town.

Can confirm two things. 1. That EHTSiB is a banger maybe the best nose of a EHTSiB I have ever had. 2. Can confirm that Sean picked the worst barrel and it wasn't even close lol. Still Love Sean!
Very relevant that I picked up an EHTSB at retail yesterday and I feel great about it in retrospect.

In my area in south Georgia north Florida I've seen the single barrel for $199 to $299 and the cheapest barrel proof I've seen is $499!

EH Taylor Barrel Proof is my all time favorite bourbon! Specifically batch 9.
Batch 12 is incredible
The single barrel is supposed to be 8-10 years old and the bp is supposed to be 6 years old. Saw this on the buffalo trace RUclips channel a few years ago they laid that out
I found a pour of this batch 12 EHTBP in a hotel bar dressed up with a bow tie. $40 for a 2 oz pour. Very hot on my palate. Added ice. Flavors were great. I recall past experiences as not as hot on my palate
Refused the barrel proof for years at $400-$500 in local stores. Got lucky this year at Total Wine for $110.
A group of us did a EHT Single barrel tasting night a little while ago. There was one batch that was off and not good at all. Luckily wasn't the batch I brought. The trade value of the EHT BP has been around $400 locally. It's starting to drop a little like everything else.
The liquor section manager of my local grocery store was able to get me an EHTBP batch 12 for my bachelor party. Hit for only $90. Man, it is good. Seen one in FL this week for $600.

Got an EHT small batch from an out-of-province lottery for $100, good lord it’s a steal. It’s truly my favourite bottle that I own, the profile lines up for me perfectly and it’s cheaper than most normal bottles in whiskey hell (Ontario)

Just picked up one local, Spirit hound straight malt whiskey (kiss of peat) slaps. And picked up pinhook rye, banging too. Both neck pours with 1 hour of open time in a glass. Different and worth the money. Pinhook at $35 spirit hound at $60 (single barrel)
Kentucky guy here; we can get Small Batch for around $99~$115, and Single Barrel for $105~$125. (I just paid 105 a week ago.)
Barrel Proof? Haven't seen one in years. The store owners always keep them for their friends in my area.

I was fortunate enough to get two of these last year at msrp. (Relationship got me 1 and lottery another). But $300 secondary would be nice, I usually see them between 4&5 but as high as 7 which just made me laugh. But even the single barrels here are between 2&3 and I’ve seen at 4. EH small batch is usually 150 ish. Love the vid junkies, cheers

$250 secondary in norcal, this year sm batch has been very melon fruit forward. I have not cracked my batch 12 BP yet though.
I’ll be honest idk if it was 1 or 2 ounces but i got a pour of EHTBP the night before i got engaged in bar harbor Maine and it was delicious! One of my all time unicorn bottles!
In a loyalty club ..this months drop was eh taylor single barrel..100$ but so damn good..i have been seeing alot single barrels around recently think they put more out this year
Bourbon gods were kind to me from the start on the EH single barrels. First bottle for $80. Second and third for $65. Can’t bring myself to pay over $100 now. Still would like to get a barrel proof for retail or under $150🤞🏼.

EHT Small Batch is $75-$100, Sib is $150-$200, BP is $300-$500 here in SoCal
The last SiB I grabbed was worse than small batch in a blind head to head, so im grabbing BP over the SiB if its $100 vs $200.

Just curious, do you tend to pick all your EHT Sibs or get them from local stores? Here in OH, I've had two bottles and both were disappointing, and most people I know down here that have had one were not impressed or just want to trade them for something better. It may be that store picks or on-site picks are exceptional but the average barrel isn't.
Btw I agree that none of the mash bill 2 sibs can hold a mash bill 1's beer

EH Taylor Barrel Proof I got mine at $79 and Stagg Jr for $70. I wish they’d produce more to kill 2ndry. BTAC I wish they’d do 375 ml gift sets. Never gonna happen but never say never.

Way overpriced, choose a Russell's Reserve Single Barrel or Ben Holladay Soft Red Wheat Rickhouse 120 proof, both fantastic with different taste profiles to satisfy the sweet or spicy happy hour
