On the official LinkedIn profile of Ian Gander - Senior Designer at Rockstar Leeds in January of 2021 - in the experience section it was noted that he has worked on GTA 5, Red Dead Redemption 2, and unannounced title(s) for Rockstar Games. Fast forward one month to February, two staff members from the GTAForums started making cryptic posts. The first being from Mach1Bud and the second being from uNi with some real life GTA Online Shark Cards detailing GTA 3, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas AND GTA 5 "before GTA 6." Then, as of last week Take 2 Interactive removed multiple GTA 5 map mods that contain the Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas maps. This is important to note because the last time this happened to GTA 5 was in April 2017 when Take 2 Interactive removed the Red Dead Redemption map mod project that had been in the works for a couple of years... Then the following year Red Dead Redemption 2 released featuring the map from the cancelled mod. In October of 2020, Rockstar Games also acquired Ruffian Games. A studio known for it's remaster of the Halo games with the Halo: Master Chief Collection. In my opinion, there seems to be stacking evidence to SUGGEST that a remaster of the GTA trilogy is in the works to hold fans over after the release of GTA 5 expanded & enhanced and also while we wait on GTA 6.

I agree can't just grab the old copys whack it on disc and sell. That would suck. Can't even play gta San Andreas on the ps4 or obviously the ps5 cause the graphics were painful to look at. It has to be fully remasted for the ps5 😁

To be fair. Updating gta v ps3 graphics is much less work than turning basically a mobile phone looking game into a completely remade game.
As long as they keep going on their precious GTA Online then we'll likely never get that.
@@JBD915 mw2 and crash bandicoot are linear, hence easier to remaster/remake. Gta is open world, so it's harder

For over a decade, people been begging for GTA Remakes, especially for San Andreas. I know for a fact a San Andreas Remake would’ve made a lot more than GTA V. Rockstar need to take a few pages out of Capcom’s book.
If rockstar really wanted to Remake something they would've done so with rdr1 in rdr2 seamlessly blended since everything is already present in rdr2 which leads me to believe they had that in mind and then abandoned it. Rdr2 was all hands on deck across all studios
can't remake San Andreas if the MAIN ACTOR won't be part of it

Speaking of soundtrack, I worked on a custom remake of the GTA 3 soundtrack, featuring all the original music, including new tracks (music from 2001 and prior).

San Andreas is my favorite GTA of all time. I have so many memories of that game. I would LOVE a remaster of it

GTA V, Franklin's story is kind of like a CJ in SA, besides, GTA V already takes place in San Andreas, so no need to make another GTA SA game, remastering it would be good enough

I think it would be cool if this turns out to be true, Rockstar knew that by releasing the enhanced version of GTA 5 people would get mad, maybe they have a little surprise for us, no way a big company like Rockstar would release the Next Gen version of the game hoping that people would play it, But Rockstar is truly the only company that is unpredictable, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did that lol

GTA LCS/ III have a Reason why Claude and Toni can't swim Liberty City in 1988-2001 the water is with Toxic Chemicals Oil and when you swim there you going to be burned alive that's why nobody swim and Vice City in the waters are with sharks.

@@alexdejesus7142 now you know it it's not because Claude and Toni are bad swimmer's it's because Liberty City is a place no one should swim but the Water became swim able in 2008 where GTA 4 take's place but still dirty but Tommy is really a bad swimmer even Vic Vance can swim in Vice City.

GTA 4 is not possible for mobile but GTA VCS, max Payne 2, manhunt etc should be on mobile

I doubt it. That was probably the least favorite of the series except for its cult following (me included lol). I would love it, but unless they overhaul the driving and add way more customization and free roam activities I doubt they’d profit too much off it.

Rockstar Games needs to leave Take-2-Interactive they have more than enough money to become one big company as they already are a massive well known company they don't need any parenting from other companies Take-2 ruined them and ruined everything for us we would have had a lot more games by now other than RDR2 and a 3rd Gen of GTA V

War Drums Studios did remaster 3D Era GTA Games for their 10th Anniversary and also being ported to mobile but not for GTA SA being remastered by War Drums Studios for having countless bugs and broken enhancements, i hope it's getting fixed if there's going to be a 20th anniversary updates for it
I'd love to see a remastered Trilogy,only so that I could experience San Andreas and Vice City for the first time.
The only things I'd like brought into the games on top of a graphic upgrade is the deeper Customization options around Clothes and Cars and maybe some difficulty tweaking on some of the harder missions,and update the checkpoint system.
