In today's new "Let's Draw" video, we are going to draw a cute, kawaii cookie using a handful of the texture brushes from my new Procreate brush pack that is now available on Gumroad! I will also cover how to use the clipping mask and alpha lock options in Procreate!
This tutorial is based off of the first prompt (Day 1: Bake) in my “Draw in Place: April 2020 Drawing Challenge!” I know everyone is going a little stir crazy and looking for a creative outlet. I decided to come up with this list of daily drawing prompts to get you through the month of April! Feel free to draw something every day or just pick a few...it’s up to you! Post your designs on IG or Twitter and tag your art with @beejaydel and #drawinplace so everyone can see them! You can also share your submissions over on FaceBook in my art group: “Keep Creating: A Learn/Draw/Share Art Community!” Instead of doing weekly art challenge video reviews in April, I will feature a post from each day in a mega-review video on my RUclips channel on May 6th! You can submit digital or traditional art...the medium doesn’t matter, but be sure to share this post so others can join in on the fun! Can’t wait to see your creations!!!

Quick question - how would you do a cookie with multiple colors? I wanted to use this as a template for stickers of cookies that I bake and sell. I've got one that's purple and tan swirled together. Also, should I buy the template on your site since I'm using your art?

So, I wonder how you like the functionality of the Apple Pencil 2 that allows you to double tap on the pencil to switch between the brush and the eraser? I use it in Procreate and PDF Expert, and I like being able to do that, but occasionally I find I have tapped and switched when I didn't intend to.
I’m not going to be using it. I was initially excited about it but then realized if I used that in the videos, people may become lost and confused not actually seeing me do the action on screen. Can’t use when I’m not filming because I know I will build up that muscle memory and use it without thinking lol!
That makes sense, you would lose more time explaining what happened than you would save by using it. I used it for about a week, turned it off, then ended up turning it back on. That habit develops really quickly. :-)

Sorry if this is a dumb question but how do you download the colour palette because I’m having trouble downloading it sorry if I’m bothering you
Save the pic and import the photo...press and hold to select colors. Didn’t share the palette file itself because most people would have problems understanding how to import...thought this was the easiest way to go but not so much I guess

The link for the color palette doesn’t work. Is it still available? Got the brushes, just need the colors. My 10 year old and I are gonna learn together.
You can find it manually on his Homepage, .... under "RUclips Reference Materials" .... save this Images and use the color picker. (sorry for my bad english) ;)
Omgosh I just realized by watching this that you can move it from the side.. cuz when I try to move it from the center it just gets bigger lol
