      YouKnowWhoThisIS xo what's really great about it is why he does it like this. You know what he's trying to say but you don't get the full message. This is how he feels the public sees him, they know what he's trying to say but only take it for the surface level content. Fucking brilliant

    The final part is like a vocal solo, he's singing and improvising with a lot of distortion and effects on his voice, i found it a very artistic and moving moment of the album

    • @joan3422
      @joan3422 5 лет назад +69

      first he talks from his perspective and how he fucks up
      and the final part is the public perspective as the public often doesn't understand what he is saying and even if they know what he is saying they still cant really hear him

    • @bendeforest2704
      @bendeforest2704 5 лет назад +27

      Joan finally someone who understands it ins't just for the aesthetic of the song. to add on though, it's from perspective of the public, aside from his fans. he's just repeating what he said in the first part but singing it distorted, so if you're a fan, you know what he's saying, but if you don't you just hear what's on the surface of the music

    8:15 , the drone outcome produces a hypnotic lullaby transition to the next track on the album. Hell of a Life, a hedonistic fantasy of blunt debauchery that provokes the intimate depths of one's psyche during slumber. This is why MBDTF is Ye's magnum opus. I'm sure many viewers would love reactions to each song from the album.

    One great thing about this song and time in Kanye's run is that he premiered this song at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. This was one year after he famously interrupted Taylor Swift when she received her award for Best Female Video at the 2009 MTV VMAs. That was a big turning point in how a lot of people saw Kanye West as a person. Even Barrack Obama called him a jackass. When he came on stage in 2010 he had a decently positive reaction but a lot of people didn't want to cheer for him. By the end of the song it seemed like he had won over the crowd and they were electric as he closed out the song. Was a truly great performance and an amazing way to introduce the song to the world.

The way each song fits perfectly in its own story and how it flows from heavier, louder, abrasive tracks (hell of a life, monster) to the glorious, triumphant tracks (all of the lights, dark fantasy) to the sad, introspective tracks (runaway, lost in the world), it’s just incredible

    i still remember hearing that 'guitar solo' the first time and being confused as to what was going on but not being able to stop listening to it. its insanely rare to see someone pull off a trick like that AND make it sound so good

    I still get chills everytime the "Vocal Guitar Solo" starts...lol leave it to Kanye to go: I don't know how to play guitar, but I'll find a way to sound like it

    I've gotta say, when I first saw the title of "metalheads react", I thought it was just going to be you guys ripping into rap music, but wow, after seeing this and your other videos, I love seeing the respect you guys have for it. Hard to find these days.

    It would be a longer video but I suggest watching and listening to the entire 30 minute video! It gives you a taste of the entire MBDTF album and the visuals are awesome

    Glad you reacted to this! The humming at the end was meant to mimic an electric guitar solo, that’s why it’s so distorted.

    Do some kid cudi he started the emo type of rap that you hear allot now. Kid cudi - soundtrack to my life is a good one.

    The reason why the outro is distorted is because while he sings or talks a lot of people don’t understand what he’s saying and only he can understand himself and because of that people think he’s crazy. When hasn’t a genius been consider crazy

    I love this song, not only because of the lyrics and beat, but because he basically says, "IDGAF what you think about me, Call me what you want, ima get my money."
