The best thing about Kanye is you can ask any Kanye fan what their top 3 albums of his are, and they will be completely different. Most artists might have the same 3 in the same order, his whole discography is just a classic.
Bruh every time I try to explain the life of Pablo, I say it’s like a bipolar tragedy. I go on walks and this album is almost changing emotions for me every ten minutes
From what I read it is extreme mood swings without realizing it. Unusually intense emotions is how it’s described so I guess that kinda sounds like it to me. But nah I can see him being that. But I guess like isn’t that more of a social behavior and like ocd-esk type behavior as well?

Hold my Liqour is honestly like one of my favourite songs ever (excluding songs from my native language), like it feels like it has the same cold and frigidity and deep emotion as like Say You Will, another one of my all time favourites, but overall, Otis is his peak.

it’s amazing just how many songs you recognise are made by kanye. you could make an argument for about 30-40 songs being his best 3, it all comes down to what connects to YOU, which is just great. even delving in to his unreleased/unfinished projects, they are still super fire
all of kanye's projects really delivers their own expression that gets in to intricate details of music things, and the fact that it is pretty much a part of kanye's life and how it moves, inspires the art scene is one of the big things he is referred as one of the best artists in this age.
Personally the reason i’m all in with Ye despite all of his controversies is because i saw him as a genuine person, his whole life story is full with ups and downs but on the top of all is the resilience and determinations what makes him unique, the way he was taught he could achieve everything he dreamed and the fact that he actually did it’s really inspiring. He could’ve been more in the top if he just write some easy relatable banger album every year, but he instead always look to keep evolving in his sound and in his lyrics, just being a genuine person. And believe it or not that is some once in a blue moon situation in the mainstream music industry
one more comment lmao: I love your take on life of pablo, as it is a beautiful mess. the whole concept is of the ‘3 pablos’, being picasso, escobar and neruda, each respectively being significant in art, drugs and religion. The whole album represents kanye’s confliction between these lifestyles, he wants to make the best art, he wants to live surrounded by the drugs, and he wants to live his life devoted to his religion, but he cant do that surrounded by the hollywood lifestyle of drugs and partying, creating the contrast of the album. The whole album jumps from these beautiful goslel infused tracks to these crazy party songs, symbolising the split in his mind between how he wants to live. I think its best shown on no more parties in LA, where the divide is most obvious. The drastic contrast between every song represents the early stages of BPD that he was experiencing and it makes it such an emotionally beautiful album for me. Im glad u liked it
For runaway - what I've taken from it is that it's not necessarily an apology, but more so him speaking his mind; "No matter what I say, you only take note of the bad things and that's how it will keep being. An apology is pointless and it will as pattern says simply be ignored anyways." but he still acknowledges that he is wrong

As a pretty big kanye fan myself, obviously not happy with the past year, I liked the video, but I feel like you kinda missed the point of Runaway. It is an apology, but it's his apology to amber rose his ex-finance who he felt like he mistreated. It's him acknowledging everything he's done wrong, but at the same time saying, I can't change who I am even if I try so get away from me and its very sad in that point. I think the end is him trying to change, trying to apologize, but as his voice is being drowned out in the song, it's symbolizing how the media would never care if he apologized and how they will always paint him as a villian because they don't understand him.
ngl i don’t wanna just say you’re flat out wrong but this is probably incorrect. he was literally dating amber rose at the time of making this album and kanye has said multiple times that the song is about many things and can be interpreted in different ways. but at the end of the day it’s simply kanye acknowledging that he doesn’t really know how to act and he will always have toxic relationships, whether that’s with a woman or the media or even himself, and there’s probably nothing he can do to change it
i loved the way you talked about 808s. it's one of my favorites from him, the stripped back and cold electronic production on the album are so interesting and something you don't see from kanye really ever
Not putting all falls down as top 5 on college dropout should be a crime. It’s my fav Kanye song and genuinely should be on everyone’s top 5 but I understand if it’s just not ur thing
Kanye is just the most impactful musical artist to this date. It is so hard not to admit it but statistically he is. Edit: and watching the netflix kanye documentary shows it even more and it just makes me respect him even more how he is so open about his mental health and the issues of fame
I would definitely recommend to look at some old kanye tour vids after dark twisted fantasy, especially the Larry Hoover concert to really see what runaway means to ye. The end feels like a little diary that keeps getting updated.

As a fan of Taylor since go, and a lover of Kanye’s music, this video made me feel so seen. Also your editing is so fun and you’re hilarious, can’t wait to be here for the 25subs and beyond
This video is beautifully made. I agree with the last two negative reviews; Jesus is King did not deserve to replace Yandhi (a great unreleased album if you have the time to listen to it), and Donda has way too many songs that should have been scrapped. I do feel as though some people do like Kanye as a personality as well as his music (not including his antisemetic tangents and overall buffoonery) though. That time when he spoke out against George Bush during the hurricane Katrina incident for instance was quite brave. I can't say I listen to much pop music other than Imogen Heap's albums, but I gotta subscribe after this. Hope you delve into Hip Hop more. A Kendrick review would be a cool video considering you've already listend to him. Cheers.
Love the video! Also, Runaway isn't an apology, it's just him acknowledging what he has done but not apologizing. He is saying that he is like that and will not change, though that is how I interpreted it, I may be wrong.
15:15 I defiinetely think you misenderstood Runaway as just being about the Taylor accident. At the time Kanye had lost his mother, his fiance left him and the world was against him after the Grammys. He had to prove to everyone that he was still the best and was under all that pressure. To me Runaway is him talking about how everything in life seems against him and he wishes he could just run away and not deal with the life of a celebrity.
You did an amazing job, and more than earned a like, a sub and a comment! Those transitions were fantastic - as your general editing is. Why did you leave off Donda 2? And yes - ranking those is near impossible - and most every Ye fan changes the rankings as often as Ye changes track lists prior to or even after release. Any militant swiftie you lose - will easily be made up by Ye fans.
I have a lot of respect for you for not being biased, as a huge kanye fan i’m glad you enjoyed his discography as it is much different than taylor’s. i recommend getting into some of his unreleased albums/songs, some of his best songs are there, also, what’d you think about vultures ?
When swifties really listen to art. Ye pushed limits his whole career, and he shaped hip hop music today. No one has had a greater impact than kanye. Haha, there is a difference between art and pop music. No hate, im just team ye 😂 I just watched the whole vid and you just got a new sub bro, if you make more than just Taylor swift vids and cover various artist throughout music imma keep watching for sure.
I'm obsessed with Taylor but used to listen to Kanye a lot, mostly pre 2011 stuff. I also thought Life of Pablo was amazing even famous 😬. Hey Mama and the best day are two of my fav songs and both being on their respective second albums was a weird coincidence for me.
I think the issue with swifties is that they label ye as "rap" so they won't enjoy it. For TS she has a defined genre and if you ain't into that then you wont loke her, but Ye is a hip hop artist and has crazy range. If you like hip hop at all, there is very likely a ye song you'd like.
Not only that, his range as a vocalist on songs like “Come To Life” or “Heartless,” his production on songs like “POWER” and “Through The Wire,” his rapping ability on “Two Words” and “Off The Grid.” His appeal musically is off the charts, and he really has something for everyone.
Bro is in his official swiftie era💀 i really enjoy your videos, thanks for respecting artists* and making wholesome content!!! *(except for kanye west)
A reason 808’s and Heartbreak has this cold depressing feel is because this is the album he released after his mom died, which was like 2 months after the release of Graduation.
Kanye started off producing but always wanted to be a rapper, but nobody took him seriously because at the time rap was about slanging drugs and totting guns around and that wasn’t his style. But once he started rapping he shifted the entire genre
This review is proves such a cool statement - be a fan of the product, not the company. (Product being albums and songs, and company being the artists) Like just can we all appreciate good music without being fanboys and fangirls and just vibe with our subjective tastes? Great review ngl
If you look out for Graduation Album Japan release, they have extra tracks: 1. Good Night feat. Mos Def & Al Be 2. Bittersweet Poetry feat. John Mayer (which is one of my top 3 pick in this album, also it was supposed to be released in the Late Registration album)
My honest, intricate and highly reflective review: 1st album: shit's fire 2nd album: shit's fire 3rd album: shit's fire 4th album: shit's fire 5th album: shit's fire 6th album: shit's fire 7th album: shit's fire 8th album: shit's fire 9th album: shit's fire 10th album: shit's fire
I love kanye and the fact you can have millions of people take something differnt from one song is how i think of him. But its sad lots of people dont separate kanye from his music. judge him, not these amazing bangers he blesses our ears.
I remember this old ad for late registration where theres like a giant kanye bear destroying a city and some of the more popular tracks play through the city and they have the album cover and it says like “another masterpiece new from kanye west” i liked that ad and i used to see it all the time i wish they still did those really fun ads for albums

ngl i don’t wanna just say you’re flat out wrong but this is probably incorrect. he was literally dating amber rose at the time of making this album and kanye has said multiple times that the song is about many things and can be interpreted in different ways. but at the end of the day it’s simply kanye acknowledging that he doesn’t really know how to act and he will always have toxic relationships, whether that’s with a woman or the media or even himself, and there’s probably nothing he can do to change it
Bro you have a gift for making videos. Keep it up! You gave better reviews than a lot of music reviews channels.
haha thank u!!! i def will keep going
bro has a kids see ghosts poster
He probably just liked the poster or he listened to the album but not sure im not him
i've liked the album for a while lol
i loved the way you talked about 808s. it's one of my favorites from him, the stripped back and cold electronic production on the album are so interesting and something you don't see from kanye really ever
agreed
Already knew this was gonna be a based review when I saw the KSG poster in the background
They both have amazing discographies.
so tru
I would definitely recommend to look at some old kanye tour vids after dark twisted fantasy, especially the Larry Hoover concert to really see what runaway means to ye. The end feels like a little diary that keeps getting updated.
Donda is my favourite Kanye album. Followed by late registration, yeezus and watch the throne.Your video was well done keep up the good work.
haha thank u sm!! ill have chick fil a on u tonight 🫡
You listened but now it's time to appreciate and understand. Your Ye journey isn't over my boi 😂
🫡 only getting started
@@jasonpaulkim the 3 part Netflix documentary and J Aubrey's video is a good place to get the ball rolling on the Kanye iceberg. FD Signifiers "The Tragic Fall of Kanye West" is a good one too. I'll let RUclips recommendations handle the rest lol
1:50 recap = "I'm just ungayifing myself"
good one
as phenomenal as Kanye's discography is what you really gotta look for is his unreleased discography like holy shit "never see me again" blows my mind every time i listen to it some of kanyes best stuff is his unreleased stuff
As a kanye fan, i came into this vid with low expectations and was thinking i wouldnt even watch through 30 seconds of this but man, props on you for making a captivaitng and unbiased video. Good video 👍
bro needs to do this with kendrick
Watching this after vultures 1 and 2 made me realise how peak his old music was
🥲
Editing is really good
thank u :)
I’m a Kanye fan, you earned a sub and this is one of the best videos I’ve seen in my life
haha thank u!!! so glad u liked it
I really like this video. Much respect.
MBDTF is my fave. Also 808s and Heartbreaks. Just put me down for all of them. I’m definitely a fan fan.
lmaoo glad u enjoyed!
personally think saint pablo is the best song on tlop since kanye spoke audible flames while sampha blessed us with his beautiful voice
fair lmao
Literally had a kids see ghost poster in the background. Reviews all Kanye's albums.
You have a kanye poster
What if he just likes kid cudi
Yeah man what if he likes speedin bullet 2 heaven
No way devil in a new dress isn’t in the playlist 😭14:03
As a massive Kanye fan. It goes both ways. Even though they have beef it’s not my beef lol and Taylor is a musical genius
🫡
Honestly didn't get the hype till I listened to Folklore. She's truly one of the best songwriters in the industry rn.
Swiftie learns what great music actually sounds like
🫢
just appreciate something for once dawg😭
@@jerry_aFr dawg I don’t like Taylor’s music but you gotta respect someone’s opinion
rap/hiphop doesn't equate to great music
@@jnmks and average country/pop cliche basic songs where half of it's about a random guy who broke taylors heart in her teenage equates to great music?😭😭
As a huge Kanye fan I really appreciate your review and the overall quality, keep it up ❤ I personally dont like taylors music and there are quite a few things to criticize about her,but if you enjoy her music I respect that bc everybody has different taste in music. Maybe you could do a review on all travis scott albums, hes a great artist too.
I'm kinda sad you didn't mention roses off of Late Registration, but sometimes that's just how it goes. Love your attitude and video style, you're funny as hell. Liked and subbed, and I wish you the best of luck and will continue to support you, confused how I wonder isn't in your top 5 for Graduation, but ofc music is subjective.
haha thank u! glad u enjoyed in spite of our differences in opinion :)))
in 808s not having paranoid in top 5 is a crime
I got hit by a car with Kanye West's "POWER" playing in my airpods. Came out with a skinned knee
All of these songs mean the most too me and the ones that I’ve listened to the most
1. Hold my Liquor
2. No More Parties In LA
3. Waves
4. Reborn
5. Spaceship
6. Guilt Trip
7. Gorgeous
8. Welcome to Heartbreak
9. Life of the Party
10. No Child Left behind.
As a fan of Taylor since go, and a lover of Kanye’s music, this video made me feel so seen. Also your editing is so fun and you’re hilarious, can’t wait to be here for the 25subs and beyond
Kanye is dropping an album this Friday
@@desjoshbpbo8212he didn’t 😿
what is "go"
This video is beautifully made.
Cheers.
haha thank u! so glad u enjoyed and agreed w some of my points!
Any militant swiftie you lose - will easily be made up by Ye fans.
haha thank u!! so glad u enjoyed :) i left out donda 2 bc i don't have a stem player and i don't like listening to leaks
Your forgot Cruel Summer compilation album. "Mercy" and "Clique" are one of his hardest songs.
P.S. the stuff bear is called the dropout bear
noted :)
love that good life and the glory were your two favorites on graduation
slapperrrrs
Agreed, The Glory is such a underrated track on Graduation
Robocop from 808's is an underrated gem and you placed it in top 5, 'n new slaves from y'zus too. 😌
bangers 🫡
I have a lot of respect for you for not being biased, as a huge kanye fan i’m glad you enjoyed his discography as it is much different than taylor’s. i recommend getting into some of his unreleased albums/songs, some of his best songs are there, also, what’d you think about vultures ?
When swifties really listen to art. Ye pushed limits his whole career, and he shaped hip hop music today. No one has had a greater impact than kanye. Haha, there is a difference between art and pop music. No hate, im just team ye 😂
I just watched the whole vid and you just got a new sub bro, if you make more than just Taylor swift vids and cover various artist throughout music imma keep watching for sure.
haha glad u enjoyed!!
I'm obsessed with Taylor but used to listen to Kanye a lot, mostly pre 2011 stuff. I also thought Life of Pablo was amazing even famous 😬.
Hey Mama and the best day are two of my fav songs and both being on their respective second albums was a weird coincidence for me.
i respect it :)
I think the issue with swifties is that they label ye as "rap" so they won't enjoy it. For TS she has a defined genre and if you ain't into that then you wont loke her, but Ye is a hip hop artist and has crazy range. If you like hip hop at all, there is very likely a ye song you'd like.
that's a good point fs
i agree mashclash please carry me in m5
yo can u help me get more powder

Not only that, his range as a vocalist on songs like “Come To Life” or “Heartless,” his production on songs like “POWER” and “Through The Wire,” his rapping ability on “Two Words” and “Off The Grid.” His appeal musically is off the charts, and he really has something for everyone.
Bro is in his official swiftie era💀
i really enjoy your videos, thanks for respecting artists* and making wholesome content!!!
*(except for kanye west)
glad u enjoyed!!
bro is still replying from 3 months ago? wmans@@jasonpaulkim
But once he started rapping he shifted the entire genre
i see i see
I love Kanye and am a swiftie, I support them both, and to me I think they both make great music at the end of the day
same
This review is proves such a cool statement - be a fan of the product, not the company. (Product being albums and songs, and company being the artists)
Like just can we all appreciate good music without being fanboys and fangirls and just vibe with our subjective tastes? Great review ngl
haha yessss so glad u enjoyed
Separate art from the artist 100%, but supporting the product directly supports the company, love the message but it’s not a good analogy tbh
nice video man, love seeing someone else's perspective on my fav artist
glad u liked it!
If you look out for Graduation Album Japan release, they have extra tracks:
1. Good Night feat. Mos Def & Al Be
2. Bittersweet Poetry feat. John Mayer (which is one of my top 3 pick in this album, also it was supposed to be released in the Late Registration album)
you need to hear mama's boyfrend, is my favorite kanye west song now.
My honest, intricate and highly reflective review:
1st album: shit's fire
2nd album: shit's fire
3rd album: shit's fire
4th album: shit's fire
5th album: shit's fire
6th album: shit's fire
7th album: shit's fire
8th album: shit's fire
9th album: shit's fire
10th album: shit's fire
I love kanye and the fact you can have millions of people take something differnt from one song is how i think of him. But its sad lots of people dont separate kanye from his music. judge him, not these amazing bangers he blesses our ears.
I remember this old ad for late registration where theres like a giant kanye bear destroying a city and some of the more popular tracks play through the city and they have the album cover and it says like “another masterpiece new from kanye west” i liked that ad and i used to see it all the time i wish they still did those really fun ads for albums
Just discovered your channel through this video and watched the whole thing. U got great commentary and video style, keep it up 👏👏👏
Love your videos!

if you liked how kanye 'pushed boundaries' in his later music you'll probably like tyler the creator
it's actually kind of crazy how different his early work is compared to his newer albums
