I saw this scene once before on tv that showed deleted scenes, and I could never find it again and I wanted to remember what the old woman said about love..... thanks for sharing! So glad I found it!
What she is describing is exactly what healthy love is. If a person doesn’t make you feel like you’re a good person, move on. That doesn’t mean that they are responsible for your happiness, that’s your own job, but if a person is making you feel bad about yourself it’s likely not a healthy relationship. Without respect, appreciation and trust there’s nothing there to salvage. Just because you still have the hots for her/him doesn’t mean that relationship is serving you!
