Hi Dereck! You could spend ages reacting to Pet Shop Boys songs, there are so many good ones and they've been so prolific! Personally, I'd recommend "King's Cross", "The Way It Used To Be", "This Must Be The Place I Waited Years To Leave", "Don't Know What You Want But I Can't Give It Anymore", "Love, etc", "Love Is A Bourgeois Construct", and so many others! They're amazing.
I like the fact that you listen to one of their later songs. The boys' have been very concistant in their song writing. Always high quality in all aspects. Also musically, the sounds that they create. I LOVE them!
Glad to see your positive reaction to a Pet Shop Boys beautiful song which just glides so smoothly. Great example of Intelligent and mature synthpop. Pet Shop Boys have always been, if nothing else, true to themselves and produce quality, mature pop music. I highly recommend you give the album “Electric” a full listen. You will not be disappointed, from beginning to end. Recommend you react from the Electric album any of these tracks “Love Is A Bourgeois Construct”, “Inside A Dream”, “Thursday”, “Vocal”.
Pet shop boys: try " opportunities" "all over the world" " west end girls". Other mega band of the eighties: Alphaville ( forever young, dance with me, sounds like a melody, big in Japan)
There is a full version of this son in the album Fundamental. In my opinion, there are three songs on that album better than this: 1) The Sodom and Gomorrah show (album version). It doesn't have a video because someone told PSB if they had released that like first single (like they wanted, BBC'd have banned the song). 2) Integral (album version). There is a single version of this song but the album version is much better (both versions have a similar video). 3) I'm with Stupid. Album version and single version are just the same. Three really good songs from PSB. All of them.
I have concerttickets for these guys . iam going to Amsterdam at 18th of May next year. I'am looking forward to is hahaa. I hope they will do the older hits. 👍🎸😆 greets jacco from Holland 🇳🇱
I know you love love love the synths, Dereck (I do too). If you really want the bananas to fall out of the basket, check out "So Hard", "Left To My Own Devices", "Single", "Vocal", or "Miracles". Non-singles like "One More Chance", "King's Cross", "Pandemonium" or "In The Night" are awesome as well ;)
One mistake: IN PRIVATE was not written BY Dusty Springfield, but FOR Dusty BY the Pet Shop Boys. They wrote that song and some more for her and produced an album back in the 80s. And this B side is just a rerecording with their own vocals
I know you like synths in the 80`s music, you should react to Alphaville - Sounds Like a Melody, Alphaville is a German Band with amazing synth sounds!!!!!
You were not sure how many Pet Shop Boys songs you have done. The way to go with so many reactions done over time, it is best to keep and make available for your followers an alphabetocal listing according to artost and the by song title and put an easy link we could press to reach the reaction. The list would be updated and put in a link in the intro.
I prefer the Pet Shop Boys from the 80's. But maybe you could be interested in their collaboration with Jean Michel Jarre : ruclips.net/video/7X-72mvg-Qs/видео.html
This is often my favorite PSB song - it is perfection, intelligent, sexy and adult...

PSB have such a long string of undeniable singles, B sides and beloved album tracks. One of my favorites ever.
Love this song. Pet Shop Boys never disappoints. The music is great.
крутая группа. Спасибо за обзор на pet Shop Boys

The bass guitar at the end is the wonderful Trevor Horn , who co-produced this with PSB

you should listen to Love Etc, an album full of eletronic tracks. It's a bomb! my fav is The way it s used to be
The bass you hear at the end is Johnny Marr from the smiths, no one realises how everyone gravitates towards Neil and Chris to collaborate!
I love this song

Please check out their song "DJ Culture"....I think you will flip for it!
Every song on Fundamental is huge.

In Private has not been written by Dusty but we as a single for her written by the boys.
Hi. if you read the comments, I advise you to listen to two french singer ... "Francis Cabrel" and "Christophe". 😉👍
I wonder if you know their 2009 Brit Awards performance with Brandon Flowers and Lady Gaga... I think as a Killers fan it's a must have seen... 😉
You have to react to Dimash‘s new song "Be With Me“ 😍 It’s a whole new level of Dimash
You like exactly the same things I like in music 😘
check Nightlife album, its a killer especially Radiophonics, for your own good, sublime tracks
More PSB ❤️🙏🏻

The album version of this is less choppy and more climatic.

Check out Suburbia
