I'm 43 years old and to this day I don't think I know of a more beautiful woman than Paulina to have ever walked this earth. I found her mesmerizingly gorgeous in my teenage years.
paulina is gorgeous and so is her mother; her mom looks so young! the artist is sooooo good. he doesnt overdo anything-so subtle an so perfect. he is really good
Thanks so much for posting! Paulina is absolutely stunning, and her mother could pass for her sister! her cousin is beautiful too - good genes, clearly
Lovely to see natural beauty! No Botox or fillers! No big pumped up lips! None of this awful contouring that makes people look like pandas. People looked sooo much better then!!
Love it, awful contouring that makes people look like pandas 🐼. 😁😁 This comment is 4 years old but it’s true. The countouring wasn’t even something new when Kim Kardashian popularised it. Grace Kelly used it in some pictures.
This is really how make up should be done. Timeless. I personally prefer the last make up, keeping it natural. The new generation can learn from this. The contouring, sharp insta brows we see nowadays are just unnecessary.
WOW I’m so happy I found this video. Stunning women and a makeup artist who really knows his stuff. I Love these techniques and learned so much. ♥️ I’m now 47 so grew up with the incredible supermodels of the 80’s, what a time to be alive!
paulina is absolutely the most beautiful thing to ever walk this earth. There is not one flaw on that gal.. Seriously, I almost wanted to turn my head from the screen when she stared right into the camera..her blue eyes literally pierce through you. I swearrr im not a lesbian!!! hahaahaha but she is just strikingggg.
These older makeup artists always use their fingers more. Brushes of the quality we have now are kind of new. I think Kevin Aucoin used sponge applicators to apply eyeshadow.
Classic makeup application. Priceless. Now, this is how makeup should be applied. Pick a makeup line and stick with it. Or choose your favorites, whatever may enhance, compliment your features. You don't need 25 eye shadow pallets and 30 foundations, 60 lipsticks... etc. Find what works on you and stay with that. Seasonally, however, adjust your foundation depending on what your skin is asking for. And for goodness sake trash all those makeup sponges and stifling brushes to apply your foundation. They are breeding grounds for bacteria and some may even inflict micro tears onto your skin. CLEAN fingertips are your best applicators. Keep your blush brush clean and or any applicators you use may use in your makeup routine. This is a flawless makeup tutorial. Where did makeup tutorials like this go? This is classic beauty. Paulina was my role model growing up. That is, in terms of beauty. She always kept it soft and fresh.
...so in other words, stifle creativity, don't play/experiment and don't have fun...just stick to the same ol boring look/products day in and day out...no thanks, bro
estee lauder is like all natural, nd there makeup doesn't ruin yor face, like powder and stff. My momi s reaching her 40's and once she started using estee lauder she looks yrs younger, like in her early 30's or somthin! Amazing!
I feel like this was a VHS tape played at the actual E. Lauder cosmetic counter on those little tvs with built in VHS player. Good makeup artist, and Paulina and family are beautiful! ❤
I think Paulina actually looks better now than when she was young. When she were young, she was just another pretty girl, but now she has an air of elegance and confidence that many models at her ages doesn't have (take Janice Dickson).
Lesson learned when looking at Paulina's mom comparing her to Paulina. The two things that time cannot take away from a woman is the color of her eyes and her facial bone structure. Paulina's mother passed on to her the same beautiful facial bone structure. That's why they both are going to look beautiful always. Zoom up on just their eyes ,eyebrows, and nose especially and they are identical.
I was a junior in high school when this video came out and this is exactly how I did my makeup. We were already starting to rebel against the 80s harsh colors. I kind of wish glamour would come back and stop all the fake contouring ! That was a major difference back then. No one contoured, or used bronzer. It was hard to find and looked horrible. No one wore false lashes either, too much like the 60s. I do kind of like how everyone does their own thing now. I swear products are not as pigmented as they used to be.
Products(well, blushes anyway 😝) are overly pigmented now from what I've seen. And, I can't stand contouring. Over bronzed skin is so out. I like matte goth skin, personally. Dark brown matte lipstick, and a smoky taupe and golden blend of shades. Mascara has certainly evolved over the past ten years. There hasn't been a decent mascara that's worked beautifully and dramatic black enough until the last 4 years for me. (I don't mind false lashes, within reason) I like late 90s "clean Grunge" makeup style😂 This is what I stick to: -L'Oreal Infallible powder foundation -WetnWild pore refining Primer Serum -Instant Age Rewind Maybelline concealer -No blush(or theBalm blush in a neutral) -PYT No BS beauty eyeshadow quad palette or Elf quad in Truffles -Essence Lash Princess false lash effect mascara -Stila liquid eyeliner (when I want a wing) -Elf Instant Lift brow pencil -NYX Suede Matte in Cold Brew lipstick (Or NYX Glitter lip lingerie cream lipstick in Butter; discontinued)
The fact that he uses his fingers is amazing. Also when he says "don't contour it"! That is how I learned to do make up as a 16 year old Gogo dancer in the gay clubs. I have learned from the best (Drag Queens and Transvestites) and still do my best make up work with my fingers.
Wow this is the precursor video of all makeup videos in youtube 👏. There is something very satisfaying about watching makeup tutorials 😅, and I dont even do make up or so 😂😂😂❤️
You have to already have flawless skin for something this subtle. Most of us have textured skin, even with regular high maintenance skincare. They must eat very well.
thats paulina little cousin her mom`s sister`s daughter i have the old tape this came out in 1990 lol we still use vcr`s bk in those days paulina was about 24 her little cousin "roni" was 15 her mom was only 41 i moldeled around that time my fva model was paulina she still my fav
Paulina definately had makeup on before he started working on her. But still, a great video showing how to apply makeup. What a perfect face! She didn't even have dark circles before he started to apply concealer. She is so georgeous.
She already had her makeup (Paulina) on before he started. It's very obvious. He just put in a little extra of this and that. It's obvious the make up artist is mesmerized by her beauty as he gently touches her face, whether he's a straight guy or gay. Her features are so beautiful.
@goofygoat2009 She been with him so long! since her days modeling and in few of The Cars videos circa 1980`s She been married to him about 20 years to him Ric O
I will say; these ladies have an advantage of perfect skin and features to begin with. The second woman however looks to have messy eyeshadow makeup here. 🤷🏻♀️ This really is a simple tutorial. I would say minimalist beginner style. You can tell it's from the early 90s.
Paulina's mother in this shows that the beauty is in the genes, not the skincare.
Skincare helps to support the good genes. Along with quality food.
She was the most beautiful estee lauder model ever.
Agree!
Hands down.
I'm 43 years old and to this day I don't think I know of a more beautiful woman than Paulina to have ever walked this earth. I found her mesmerizingly gorgeous in my teenage years.
She still is and has a brain and heart that work, in spite of fame, she's just incredible.
@@noonespecial4171 Exactly!
Amazing, lovely creature!
Intelligence & soul in such a gorgeous package.

This is such a fantastic video.
I love his techniques and voice.
So mellow and soothing.
paulina is gorgeous and so is her mother; her mom looks so young! the artist is sooooo good. he doesnt overdo anything-so subtle an so perfect. he is really good
Thanks so much for posting! Paulina is absolutely stunning, and her mother could pass for her sister! her cousin is beautiful too - good genes, clearly
She literally has zero flaws and does not need a stitch of make up then and now! She has just gotten more beautiful with age!❤️😍
Paulina today is still stunning and no plastic surgery.
Oh my goodness! Paulina’s mom is utterly gorgeous! Flawless!!!!!❤❤❤
She has that slavic beauty that is very lovely and familiar.
Slavic women are the most beautiful! :)
Lovely to see natural beauty! No Botox or fillers! No big pumped up lips! None of this awful contouring that makes people look like pandas. People looked sooo much better then!!
Bexi Lou couldn't agree more!
Bexi Lou she was 25 years old...she didn't need those things
True she didn't and neither do all the people that she having it done these days. But unfortunately they still do.
Love it, awful contouring that makes people look like pandas 🐼.
😁😁
This comment is 4 years old but it’s true.
The countouring wasn’t even something new when Kim Kardashian popularised it.
Grace Kelly used it in some pictures.
@@Svetlana-says-it-as-it-is. Ahh Grace Kelly… another beautiful woman ❤️
her face is so symetrical
Great and still relevant makeup tutorial!!!
It's funny how every couple of minutes he turns to the camera and smiles lol. Great video!
This is really how make up should be done. Timeless. I personally prefer the last make up, keeping it natural. The new generation can learn from this. The contouring, sharp insta brows we see nowadays are just unnecessary.
ikr
Yes, her mother is just as beautiful. I'd love to see photos of her when she was young.
WOW I’m so happy I found this video. Stunning women and a makeup artist who really knows his stuff. I Love these techniques and learned so much. ♥️ I’m now 47 so grew up with the incredible supermodels of the 80’s, what a time to be alive!

I can see where Paulina got her good looks from. Her mother is very pretty. Her cousin is too :)

Love the 1980’s ambient music. Paulina was already wearing making prior to the tutorial. Gorgeous none the less
Back in the day--no foundation primer or foundation brush. Shocker-- no Urban Decay primer potion; no MAC 217! And yet the look is flawless
These older makeup artists always use their fingers more. Brushes of the quality we have now are kind of new. I think Kevin Aucoin used sponge applicators to apply eyeshadow.
yeah most brushes now don't allow eye shadow to fall out i notice.

What about Carolyn Murphy?
her beauty is unreal. the most beautiful woman of our lifetime and she has aged like fine wine as well
Wow...I remember this video from waaaaay back when.
It’s such a fun blast from the past! Do you know when it was filmed? It was uploaded in 2007, but it’s clearly much older.
Wow amazing tutorial
Paulina is now 56 and still lovely

Just beautiful czech girl :P ..
Paulina's mother is beautiful. They look alike. Easy to see where Paulina's good looks come from. Both ladies can get away without any makeup.
you have to be certified as a director by youtube in order to go beyond 10 minutes.
Times have changed lol
Paulina definately had makeup on before he started working on her. But still, a great video showing how to apply makeup. What a perfect face! She didn't even have dark circles before he started to apply concealer. She is so georgeous.
She doesn't need any make-up!!!
No foundation necessary. Maybe just eye makeup and a lip tint, just because it's fun. 🤷🏻♀️
@fiw06 she had issues with estee mrs lauder was a very difficult person to work with
wow. really great
