Thank you all for your comments. Many of you have commented on Paulina’s extraordinary beauty. I am the interviewer and can tell you that she is truly of the most gracious, honest and naturally beautiful women in the world. She is a highlight among my 20,000+ interviews. Enjoy the channel....blessings to all of you. Eileen🌻
Thanks for posting this interview Eileen. I've followed Paulina's career because I looked a lot like her when I was young, I was even signed to Elite New York, Paulina's agency and one of the bookers asked me which of my favorite model's portfolio I wanted to see and I replied "Paulina's" and she got out her book for me and it was pretty cheeky the way the last shot in her portfolio was a photo of her from the backside and they said they chose that one for the last shot because it meant "The End". Anyway, I didn't stay in New York very long because I was homesick and it was too much of a culture shock for me, I wasn't used to riding the subway or anything like that, not very independent. Paulina's life experiences made her mature beyond her years and was instrumental in her success of moving to New York because she was used to moving around from country to country. I came back home and got married but did move to Dallas and was able to model in Dallas for Neiman Marcus and Saks but I was once again given a chance at the big time international modeling, at age 26, even though I had a two year old. I did leave her in the care of my husband and mother and went to model in Paris for at the Haute Couture shows. I also landed a wonderful editorial modeling job in The French Alps for Conde Nast European Life and Travel. I also modeled in Hamburg for Brigette Magazine Editorial. I modeled for Alberta Ferrretti for a show she held in Florence. Then I modeled in Tokyo and had a great show season there. I'm glad I was able at 26 be selected to model in Paris because I was surprised they selected me over 18 year olds at our modeling agency in Dallas. I modeled for Jean Louis Scherrer Haute Couture show, Torrente, Lecoanet Hemant Haute Couture show. I did realize that the top models do wonder what it's like to have a normal life because a top high fashion model asked me what it was like to live in Dallas and have a husband and a child because a lot of their romances are with playboy types. I don't think that model ever did have children. So there's pros and cons to everything. But I've enjoyed following Paulina's career and sort of living vicariously through her modeling accomplishments lol and my daughter Jade's modeling career where I got her signed with IMG NY.
Take her at 23 years old during this interview and compare her to today's so called models. She is much more than beauty. She had heaps of common sense, highly intelligent and didn't use the word like for every other word. Paulina truly was and is the definition of beauty.

Meaningful Living Triggered once again! Let people write their fucking opinion without answering back! There are people who like white girls. What’s your problem?
Meaningful Living not reaally white standard, it’s according to mathematics, and anyone from any race can have these perfectly symmetrical features (although some places do have them more often). Even in remote tribes their beauty standards are always closer to the golden ratio (and symmetry is what makes humans’ eyes more ‘comfortable’ because nature is sort of ‘lazy’ and produces duplicates to not work as hard and anything or anyone that ends up not being too symmetrical is perceived by us as odd looking because it means nature sort of ‘failed’ - this is very poorly explained btw, there’s a documentary explaining this but I can’t remember the name right now). She has had the most beautiful covers in history, I've ever seen. This was back when I read magazines. Before they weren't full of adds and propaganda.
I always looked at her as the Estee Lauder model and thought she has the most perfect features. Square jaw, which ages well and a face perfectly symetrical. Her eyes are alluring and she is friendly and down to earth. She is much older now, but so realistic about her image and growing older. An ideal role model, not the Kim Kardashiens of this world.

Thank you Olof Palme ( Former Swedish Premier). He helped my father come to Sweden in 81 as Political Refuge from Somalia. Without him I would not be alive today and my dad would be dead. He was a Army officer in the somali Army.
I love her not only because she is beautiful but she is so so honest. Unlike the other stupid models who say they got discovered on the street, she admits the truth.
@@jamilgotcher5456 well she’s super raw and truthful on her Instagram, she’s not afraid to reply to a comment with an Instagram post or to call ou the industry, probably why she isn’t as famous
don't blame the models for being discovered..thats how it often happens and you don't know anything about what other models have been thorugh or what their story might be...either way stop calling beautiful women stupid!! just because thats how they earn their living,...you would too if you had the chance
True beauty. And class. But it also was different times back then. The industry was looking for these women that are actually beautiful (as opposed to be made to look good-ish), genuine and classy because the products the models were presenting still were proper had class.
Had never actually seen an interview with her. I'd only ever seen some photos....and the music video for The Cars' Drive. And always thought she was inhumanly gorgeous....just beyond captivating and beautiful. And it turns out...she's got a killer personality. Very real, witty, and smart. I like her even more now....
Mmmm, she wasn't dumb, but she wasn't a genius either. In fact, her ex-husband cut her from the will (her money was there), and when he died, she ended asking friends to pay for her groceries. She had more the attitude of I am smart, but she wasn't really.
This lady is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, Audrey Hepburn, and one or two others but Paulina is the REAL thing. I wish her every happiness in the world
I really love watching these videos of how all these older supermodels and famous beautiful women talked. Cindy Crawford and Vanessa Williams. They spoke with so much reserve and femininity but with SO MUCH confidence and power almost. It's intimidating watching them speak! I find that a lot of modern women have to talk really loud to project confidence and power but clearly this is not the case from watching these old case studies.
This is exactly what I was thinking. I don’t know what is this phenomenon and why this is going on but is very obvious girls are way more insecure now and try to show something they’re not.. Perhaps is social media influence wich makes people lose their individuality and personal growth since you’re constantly told what and how to say/do/be, on a way that wasn’t as easily accessible back then because the word wasn’t so connected, so it creates a world wide ‘clique’ group culture.. or something like that. All I know is that we were suppose to be the most well resolved generation of women but we’re easily the most lost - while pretending we are the coolest.
"Modeling is a wonderful thing if it's a step to the next step...and It is a terrible thing if it is the only step you ever going to make". -Paulina Porizkova.
When I was a kid I saw two pictures of her in a magazine and thought she is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen I learned her name by heart but never saw her talking after 30 years later here in RUclips very randomly. Good to know that she is smart with an interesting personality as well.
Watching this makes me sad because it makes me realize how different she is treated now to back when she was so young. She can't even book a job hardly today. Why not? We need women in their 50s to model too. You shouldn't be discarded when you reach a certain age.
She can book TONS of jobs - no worries about that. It's the type of jobs she's limited to that might frustrate her. She can't be a teen model or a 20-something model. She's a gorgeous 50 year old model and can do modeling jobs that require and make the most of that specific niche. She could i.e. do well as a fitness model, or generally a commercial model.
Wow, for a 23 year old she is very eloquent and intelligent. The way she carries herself and her response to the questions asked speak volumes of her character. She s clearly well beyond her years in maturity, in her composure... unlike the typical 23 year olds today.. acting a fool on social media platforms , some pretty on the outside but most very empty and lacking substance on the inside- sorry, but the truth
Meaningful Living of course it's my opinion and the opinion of many by the looks of it.. to me Slavic and Persian women are the most beautiful, their bone structure/faces are just stunning.. a lot of people share my opinion, that doesn't mean you have to.. beauty is a relative thing and to each their own
Meaningful Living if i write a comment it is my opinion, i never said it was a fact! Just like your comment, it's an opinion not a fact.. i thought that was a given? Learn the difference between Slavic, Persian and European women.. not all European women are Slavic.. everybody has a different taste and beauty is relative as i wrote before but i guess you missed that part.. some of the most beautiful women come from Persia and Eastern Europe, that was my point.. now taste is a different matter and i for sure won't fight with you on taste 🤦🏻♀️
Meaningful Living You are the definition of ignorance and being narrow minded.. Serbians are Slavic, pick up a book sometimes.. if i write a comment it is my opinion, that is a given.. i don't have to especially point it out, only to you maybe since you're the only one that has a problem with my phrasing.. you saying many don't agree is the same as me saying many do agree.. you're contradicting yourself.. your comment was no different from mine, you are only winced because i and apparently every person that commented under this video, doesn't share your opinion.. your defenition on beauty isn't facts either, learn to respect other peoples tastes.. a lot of people commented that she is the most beautiful, how come you don't comment there? 😂🤦🏻♀️
Wow really love her down to earth sentiments. And she's right, no one deserves 6 million for just looking good... It's crazy the fame and fortune that comes from something as irrelevant as beauty when it really should be going to things like cancer research and people in need., etc.
I met her in the 80s! Ok she just signed an autograph promoting Estee Lauder, but still... She was so strikingly gorgeous and very sweet, I love how honest she always seems to be. My favorite model ever😄

She’s a goddess in the real sense of the word...a living sculpture. Her modelling was the era when photo editing was never heard of.
Beautiful young woman wise beyond her years. 35 years later she is still amazing.
Thank you Olof Palme ( Former Swedish Premier). He helped my father come to Sweden in 81 as Political Refuge from Somalia. Without him I would not be alive today and my dad would be dead. He was a Army officer in the somali Army.
And they killed Olof , because he was an awesome guy.
She was stunningly gorgeous and still is very beautiful. Her and Helene Christensen were goddesses !
I love her not only because she is beautiful but she is so so honest. Unlike the other stupid models who say they got discovered on the street, she admits the truth.
You can't always blame the model for her story, I'm sure her agents told her to tell that story of her discovery.
She is a model with intelligence inside and not a fake person at all
She is so well spoken and wise beyond her years at that time. My dream woman…beauty and brains!
The interviewer Eileen Prose did a fantastic job!!!!!!
Still today has the brains, dignity and beauty and remains unspoiled by any of it. A forever classic.
The most beautiful model ever!!!!!!
Natural beauty.
True beauty. And class.
But it also was different times back then. The industry was looking for these women that are actually beautiful (as opposed to be made to look good-ish), genuine and classy because the products the models were presenting still were proper had class.
She was freaking stunning. I loved her.
Wow, she actually has brains
Yes of course, obviously
Had never actually seen an interview with her.
I'd only ever seen some photos....and the music video for The Cars' Drive.
And always thought she was inhumanly gorgeous....just beyond captivating and beautiful.
And it turns out...she's got a killer personality. Very real, witty, and smart. I like her even more now....
unlike yourself
Mmmm, she wasn't dumb, but she wasn't a genius either. In fact, her ex-husband cut her from the will (her money was there), and when he died, she ended asking friends to pay for her groceries. She had more the attitude of I am smart, but she wasn't really.
Not enough to save for an emergency fund
This lady is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, Audrey Hepburn, and one or two others but Paulina is the REAL thing. I wish her every happiness in the world
23? She was an old soul...beautiful woman, and a girl's girl
Her type of beauty is not my favourite but I can appreciate its' classical, sharp perfection. Her mind impresses me more.
I'm gay and I had a crush on her. That's how GORGEOUS she was and continues to be!!
Then you are bisexual.
Don't worry. She will. She's still damn gorgeous & can be a real head-spin for our time & new generation. :)
Thats just how the industry works, that’s why Adrianna Lima retired. It’s weird lmao.
A natural beauty with brains.
Sería interesante descubrir cómo actuabas tú a los 23 años
My favorite model of the 1980s.
She is really gorgeous and very honest and down to earth
She is smart. The choice of words is just phenomenal.
She's so humble. Doesn't want fawning.
My favorite model, ever! Stunning!
Gorgeous. Not just the face but also her body.
And her mind.
What a beautiful woman she reminds me of Brooke Shields ❤ stunning.2023.
What inteligent down to earth young lady.
omg she is the most beautiful thing ever
Don't sell yourself short you are very beautiful as well.
Thing?
People, WTF?
@Greg Aurora lol, you don't have to be gay to appreciate beauty.
trha2222 Ee no. She was kinda average..
Beauty of Eastern European/Slavic women 🤍 unmatched
Meaningful Living even the interviewer says she has been picked as the most beautiful by many, listen to the interview 🙄
Tjasa T i'm half Persian so i agree 🤷🏽♀️
It's crazy the fame and fortune that comes from something as irrelevant as beauty when it really should be going to things like cancer research and people in need., etc.
and then she married a milionnaire lol
She’s MORE brilliant and beautiful today.. I have nothing but admiration for her.
paulina😇💜 is sweet, intelligent, and beautiful. she had a tough childhood. paulina has a nice and genuine personality.
I met her in the 80s! Ok she just signed an autograph promoting Estee Lauder, but still... She was so strikingly gorgeous and very sweet, I love how honest she always seems to be. My favorite model ever😄
Is she more of less beautiful in person?
Models like her, Naomi, etc. have natural and timeless beauty; not to mention brains.
Both person in this interview are so polite! So nice to see this today!
23 yo but as mature as 45 in terms of intelligence and outlook. A world-class model to boot.
Truly definition of a beautiful face. Then you add in her intelligence and quickness at this age, and she becomes rare.
She was definitely the most beautiful model to come along after Jean Shrimpton in the 1960s
To this day, she’s still beautiful and lives a life of authenticity and meaning. Her Instagram is worth a follow. She’s always been so much more than pretty.
I like how honest and real she is especially about modelling
She is the female version of Alain Delon, one of the most beautiful faces ever!
PAULINA'S BEAUTY IS BREATHTAKING.
She was my image of the perfect face during my teens.. in the late 80's n early 90's. (when I only had my aunt's magazines for photos and no internet☺) That photo at 1:39 was on my folder file for years till I graduated!!
Thanx to you n youtube we get to relive memories and experience the actual beauty and brains. TQ n Cheers!
Raj, I am so glad you watched and commented. Such fun to know that your photo was included in the piece. It was wonderful interviewing her but her beauty was almost distracting....so perfect! You are so right about her brains...very intelligent. So glad this made you happy!! Best to you. Eileen
Me too and still lovely
@Thylane Blondeau nah, pal. I don't think so.
The most beautiful woman in the entire world!
That's absolute nonsense. There's plenty of women out there who are more beautiful than her.
@@mrbojangle6118 very true, they don't know the whole world
@@mrbojangle6118 Hardly the best looking one. She was extremely pretty and there are more beautiful women out there. Who saw all the women in the entire world???
@@mrbojangle6118 that's my opinion. You can have yours.
@@bazoukalification it's a figure of speech, right? Can I use it without your permission ? And, this is my opinion. You can have yours and It Won't bother me at all.
To me, she is perfection , period. And, I never came across with such a beautiful woman like her....maybe you had ! Good for you !
Iman, Paulina, Yasmeen Ghauri the most beautiful models...
Great choices. I'd add Christy Turlington to the list.
Yasmin Le Bon, I believe.
Gia Carangi too
@@gardenlover9663 Yes most definitely
Agreed
Holy... very direct and honest. She's fantastic!
I can watch her for eternity and still not get enough
Gorgeous and intelligent. I saw her in Anna and loved her then. We’re the same age.
I can't imagine someone thinking she's the makeup girl's assistant? She is beautiful.
She's so unapologetically honest. And look at the bone structure!
That's a very masculine jawline. She's pulling it off so well.
As a 20 year old guy I honestly am envious. Wish mine was that good. getting mogged
Wow. I always thought she was the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen, and had no idea what a thoughtful and substantial person she was inside. I love that she is aging with grace; so rare and admirable. And wow again to Ocasek's apparent bitterness. I guess we'll never know the whole story.
Eileen, I appreciate your interviewing. So respectful and such great, interesting questions.
She seems as beautiful on the inside as the outside
She's so intelligent. Great interview!
I love how she corrects everything that the interviewer says lol
She is so wise and intelligent
supermodels back then were truly beautiful, not like the ones today that you know had a little help with cosmetic surgery.
JangX it’s not even the plastic surgery, it’s the facetuning/photoshop that completely alters their looks these days
Yes, I don't understand how the Kardashians are so famous.
Such wisdom and bit of Sass love it
Thee most beautiful model in the world. !!!!!!!
she is amazing as usual but wow, wonderful interviewer too! nothing felt forced it was very natural
Probably the most beautiful woman ever created.
Both of the women in this interview seem intelligent and pragmatic. Bravo to both of them.
God, she was gorgeous
Still is
Still is !
Same!
I agree with her and it can be said about any career where the product of your labor is your celebrity. It must be the next step toward something more, not the final step. She seems very intelligent, not sure the interviewer liked her so much.
