    Thank you Tuomas for this short insight of your life. It's kinda I hope it will be like that 😄
    Stand up not that early, don't have to catch a bus, tube... and start to work when I like to in the Büro.
    I would appreciate a video of a very bad, busy, stress out day and why it is so. I would like to understand the not so shiny sides of a Developer everyday life.
    Go on and do your thing.
    Lot of love to all.

    Hey Tuomas, again great video! I have a question regarding the CS50 Introduction to Computer Science course. On the website it says "January 1, 2019 - December 31, 2022", do you know if there will be some change to the course access by next year or why is there this expiry date?

    • @InternetMadeCoder
      @InternetMadeCoder  Год назад +3

      I don't know - I imagine they will just have a 2023 version from 2023

    • @iamoliverblake
      @iamoliverblake Год назад +2

      The CS50x website explains everything in their FAQ, please read it carefully if you want the free certificate. December 31st is the "deadline" for all submissions and exams for that year's course. On January 1st, the course resets and if you followed their instructions and enrolled anytime this year, you will automatically be transferred the new year's course. There are many details that are too lengthy to explain in a single comment about how to access grades and stuff.

    • @lorenzo6777
      @lorenzo6777 Год назад

      @@iamoliverblake There's the question of the value of having that official certificate

    • @iamoliverblake
      @iamoliverblake Год назад +1

      @@lorenzo6777 The certificate can only be claimed after passing all requirements. I believe their passing score is 70% so it's at least relatively challenging. The certificate is also verifiable which means you can't just photoshop one for yourself. Considering that this field doesn't really care if you have the shiniest degree in the world, if you don't have a good portfolio you won't het hired anyway. CS50x is a valuable place to start for free and their certificate is just a goal to aim for.

      @user-xx7tv7cc1y Год назад +2

      Am a Senior Software Engineer in London, and unless you work for a company that is all about profit, you won't need to worry about them outsourcing work to India. They may outsource some, but if they were to outsource most of the development, they will be realising the downsides of doing so within 2 years. It's hard to find very good programmers that not only know how to write code, but understand the broad scope of what delivering software consists of. In my experience, we (I work for a large consulting firm) are hired to come in and fix the giant mess that was made by outsourced oversees engineers.
