Hey David! My name is David too!! I am a huge car guy and trying to become a photographer, please check out my Instagram and tell me what you think? @car_guy_photography
H0okemh0rns Both sports cars you can have for around the same price, but the turbo kit is going to push the frs into GT range. But the new mustang has IRS, and the ecoboost only weighs 3550. Yeah, heavier, but it comes with more features, more power out of the box, and apparently handles very well. Yes the frs probably handles better, but does it handle the extra power well is the question really.
I can imagine why anyone would think this car doesn't need more power. Exactly like you said, take off the ridiculous tires and put on some good ones, and give it more power. 300 sounds perfect. Great job man!
+Hype Tempo people wanted a cheap rwd tail happy car and thats what toyota gave them. They're going to save the more powerful v6 platform for the future supra/ft-1.Why have 2 cars canibilizing sales
You people are dissing a well-balanced $25k base price sports car. This car is an amazing platform with ever expanding aftermarket support. I personally love my FR-S, it's a fantastic car and I've never thought of it as under powered. Mods include 1" drop on coilovers, UEL headers, aftermarket exhaust, cold air intake and FT86 style spoiler. It's a headturner and an absolute blast to drive and I get amazing gas mileage, I love it.
Great review man! I definitely agree with you that it needs more power. After almost 2 years of owning mine I really wanted more power. If I had been able to keep the BRZ I would have definitely gone forced induction eventually.
Why'd you get rid of it? And you're a Subaru fan with a Mustang? Not saying that you can't be a fan of both, or that the Mustang isn't a great sports car, I'm just really surprised thats what you chose to buy after owning a BRZ. It's on the complete opposite end of the spectrum for what a sports car is lol.
Both the s2000 and the fr-s are great cars in their own way. I love the fr-s because it's simple and a great platform for modification. Driving it on a track gives you the opportunity to enhance your driving skills. things like corner apexing, heal-toe and trail braking can be learned on these cars, making you a faster more proficient driver. Driving this car is more about being able to maintain momentum through the turns than point and squirt. Don't get me wrong, high power sports cars are a blast but this is a great starting point and as your skills improve you can add more power and take yourself and the car to the next level.
Great video man, I seen the thumbnail & I was like "is that TC's FR-S" lol, turns out it was. Completely agree with you, the car needed an extra go power :P
OLIVIA EXSUPERVILLAIN get a mustang🙃🙃 love FRS's but for the money you could get a lot more, or maybe even just a 240. But to each his own, hope you get it
Only thing is, the FRS handles and feels much better than the mustang. The Mustang is great if you're wanting straight line power, FRS for people who want to feel in touch with the road, learn to drive better and carve some canyons. Mustangs feel like boats compared to the 86 twins.
Glad to see one of these cars modified like this. Most all the donks in my area have these things cambered/stanced out to ludicrous limits yet drive them as if they're behind the wheel of an Enzo.
I own one of these cars and it reminds me of many Porsche's, 911 and Boxster, i have had a couple , you have to be aware of where your engine in reving and keep the rpms high in this car to keep it lively. If you are mindful of that the car is pretty lively. However if you just step on that gas in low rpms you are reminded it is a smallish 4 cylinder. On the positive side of less horsepower is the enjoying stepping on the gas without having to slow it down in two seconds in fear of speeding tickets. Porsche has an alarm you can set on your speed and that ding ding was always going off. Very happy with the FRS.
The skinny tires are part of what makes the BRZ/GT86/FR-S so great. They allow you to break traction and have a thrilling time cornering without going dangerously fast.
frs doesnt need turbo. i have an frs and a 2010 mustang gt and the sound and the shifting and the acceleration is better all around in the frs. by far my fav car i ever owned
This car is excellent for this specific situation: If someone wants to learn to drive quickly, but isn't skilled enough to deal with high speeds yet. They can learn every skill necessary in this little fun-box, and when they are ready for speed, slap on a supercharger/turbo, coilovers, and some wider/stickier tires. Heck, do more if you want! On a side note: for goodness sake get the differential riser. I blew my cv joint on friday at the track because the rear axles are at an angle that strains it. If you are not an advanced driver, it shouldn't be an immediate problem, but it will be...
Yeah I definitely agree that the toyobaru twins need just a little more power mainly torque from factory! Cause and frs can get out dragged by the TC due to the TC having more torque and they need to stop with the prius tires because again due that stock the TC can get close to the same lateral G as the frs because the tc comes with better and wider tires.
I'd love to have one of these with a little turbo on it...a nice exhaust, intake, tune with some stickier tires, and youd have a little sleeper on your hands that would probably upset a few people. 300 whp in a 2800lb car is plenty
My kind of car. But in comparing gearboxes, forgot to mention the Miata MX-5. Same sweet shifter. My favorite car I've ever owned (owned mainly family friendly vehicles). Miata has a great gear box. Is similar in many ways to the FRS and S2000 -- weight distribution, ability to handle speed through curves, and an add-turbo. Also, what's with people that dis turbos? Turbo-lag. Sure even modern turbos have a slight lag, but when do you not know when you are going to need the extra power a half-second before? Just get on it a little before you need it coming out of curve, etc. It becomes 2nd nature very soon.
My 2 favorite car guy RUclipsrs doing a collab? My life is complete. I have seen TC's videos of this car from the day he bought it, I saw TC and this car it Import Alliance, and I saw David drive by. Now it all comes together, and I am am happy.
this car has never been on a track just country roads if you watch his videos. and it's actually a dual purpose gopro mount but yeah I still don't like it
I wish this community of after market customization was more welcoming like the host of these reviews. Thanks for actually taking the time to explains things in a helpful way. Ive been thinking about putting a turbo in my tc but i dont really know much about it and everyone I ask questions to always responds in a snobby way.
Drive both of them stock and figure out which one brings you a bigger smile. I wouldnt factor in stock speed though since you are obviously modding. Look at things like interior , exterior, and how the car handles, how it shifts etc. Its personal opinion.
Turbo Fox Body, 7,000$ including cost of the car, 502whp/2800lbs. 2010 Evo 393whp/3500lbs 20k including cost of the car. FRS is a waste of money unless you can actually build a motor or swap out that factory crap.
I just bought an FR-S 3 days ago. I hadn't driven stick for 3 years, which was in a 90's f150 haha. Anyhow, test drove it for about 10 minutes. Then drove all the way back from Ellicot City to Delaware, only stalling at the toll booth on the Bridge, so I'd have to agree that it's a great car to learn, or relearn manual in. Also I liked the review :D
I have loved the look of the FRS/BRZ since they were revealed. I feel like the only reason these cars don't get a turbo is because Subaru, the company with rights to the engine, is afraid the WRX would fall off the map in terms of sales. So, they feed us bull crap excuses and expect us to accept them. It's a shame. Just my two cents.
I’ve had the car fully loaded with full grown adults, have you tried moving the seat forward slightly? It helps when you want to let someone get in the back. It’s a 2+2 if you try hard enough.
Great video, although, um, isn't there at 2:22 151 lb-ft of torque? Im pretty sure with 90 ft-lbs, this car would be MUCH slower. Even converting 151 crank torque to wheel torque would still yield greater results. Still, love the vid!
titleguy1 That 151 ft-lb of torque at the crank. After the usual 15-20% drivetrain loss, it's closer to 120-128 at the wheels. Not too bad really. His 90 was more of an exaggeration than anything haha.
I don't get why people find it difficult to merge into traffic with these cars. Why aren't people that drive Corollas, civics and other econoboxes complaining about it? It's not like you need to go 200 km/h to get onto the highway
fyi thatdudeinblue. 151lb. ft. of torque at the crank with drivetrain loss equates to about 130-135 ft lbs. at the wheels. 90 would mean a 40% drivetrain loss. Nothing has had that since the automatics of the 1940s.
I rode in the back of one of these (86 version) and my head was resting on the back window. I had to learn forward to stop my head going through the window when we hit a bump or came to a sudden stop :P
DoubleD 613 I have no problem with people asking for help if they want a car, but he took it to the limit by asking for a brand new out of the box Mustang, and he want even satisfied with the standard package. Heck if it was me in his shoes i would have bought a used car, have spare money to modded it(which mean more videos), and use the last remaining chuck of the pie for a turbo kit to giveaway to a winner of some sort. I only lost respect for the guy when he started pulling reasons out his ass for not getting X-Car vs the Mini Cooper. X-Car doesn't have good MPG, X-Car Safety rating not high enough, X-Car not new enough, at that point no respect was given.
BEAUTIFUL CAR! Once I get mine I want this exact setup but in the asphalt color. Love the exhaust sound, the tail lights, and the added power of the turbo.
I understand both sides of the boosted GT86 argument, I think that the car doesn't need to be fast, its not a racecar, it's a car that builds a driver and will give rewarding feedback in everything you do. Allthough, if you want to build a fast one then all the best, to each there own.
Im a straight up muscle car guy but i absolutely love these cars. If i was younger and single again i would definently give these a second look along with the subura brz.
This car needs a few things to be perfect. First, it needs more low. It is at a performance stance as he calls it, but it just needs a little more. Second, it needs to be debadged. So many badged on the back, between tomei, frs, and scion. Third, it needs less stickers. Finally, fourth, the tow hook needs to be taken off the front
First off the needs to be low? Uhhh no, don't tell me you're one of those guys who have their car scraping the floor with the wheels poping out? Those cars are ugly as shit
Caligrown92511 Tbh the only cars I would do that to is VIP cars because it suits them more especially because they actually buy air suspension instead of survival on static plus all the tuner Cars should have left that scene to the luxury cars
bugattirocksful I understand you're trying to help the kid in terms of style but who cares what he does. I've got a GT86 myself and mine is hot as fuck with the wheel/coilover combo. The more ugly 86's out there the more mine is going to stand out as a nice clean ride :)
Have I driven an S2000? I've owned 4. They have 200 WHEEL not 200 CRANK. That 40 extra HP is all the world of a difference. So please, don't try and argue. The S2000 has been, and until the FRS/BRZ puts a stock turbo on, always will be a better car for the $.
Yeah but i mean having driven both and currently owning the frs, I feel like the s2k is not that much different than the frs, with both really having all their power on the top end.
last night i was just thinking of how i was going to do up my blue frs, and i was thinking duckbill rear spoiler, black 18inch tsw nurburgring rims, supercharger, and a 1 inch lower through adjustable coil overs. TC's FRS is really close to the build that i had in my mind, and has only reconfirmed that this is what i am going to do to mine. Thanks David ThatDudeinBlue for reassuring my build. Also if i could get some advise to whether the Innovate Motorsports Twin Screw Supercharger or the 67mm turbo. not looking into tracking the car, but would like to do a few pulls here and there. which do you think would be the better choice
Afeeq Hasan I don't think of a Scion FRS as an automobile I see it as something that a mentally disabled child would create then show his mother and she would say she loves it and puts it on the fridge, but she honestly wishes she got that abortion.
Hype Tempo I'm not sure why I'd cry if I'm sitting in a Hellcat, could you care to explain how this Scion is somehow better? When I look at the specs of both cars it makes me wonder why would spend your time making your comment when you and I know the Hellcat is the victor.
The hellcat is a completely different style of car, the frs is meant to be fun as an everyday driver well as the hellcat is used at traffic lights to impress the ladies walking by!
Drifting? Bud, no you got it all wrong. It makes a great drift car, but it's supposed to be good sports car that can tackle mountain roads, and trust me, America has lots of them. Many of the really good ones are in California.
This is the first time, in a long time, that I am seeing a BRZ/FRS without a Rocket Bunny kit. Legit haha! Love the Enkei wheels on it. The deep concave in the rear looks very attractive.
i drove my buddy's stock frs today, i noticed that you get like absolutely no power low in the rev range and i feel like a turbo would make that worse...
i don't know manual but i'm the typical teen who wants to drift corners and after watching the Top Gear episode with this car I fell in love. Two questions, one: should i get the stick shift or paddle shift? and two: does the Paddle Shifter auto shift when the Revs redline? (Side note i don't know how to drive anything other than full auto but paddle seems easier)
I would Super before turbo on this little car honestly, I think the linear-ness of the supercharger would preserve the "purity" of it and keep it feeling very stock just with more punch. Maybe 275 at the wheels with a linear band? That sounds pretty sweet to me...
Idk why the FRS/BRZ are always talked up by how light they are, but they arent all that light. There are plenty other cars that are feathers compared to these.
If you're ever in California(Sacramento County), I've got a pretty little 2014 tC for you to drive around. Not a performance car but beats the stock 86 in a straight line!
lol my friend wanted to test drive one and the guy who had to go with him asked me if i wanted to go. i offered to sit in the back and the big car dealer guy decided to sit in back so i could have a nice ride. he could barely get in and getting out was even worse
I want the comments to help me.. I'm looking at Ether a scion frs or the focus st I've driven the frs and yea the power wasn't really there but it is rwd and fun in corners. plus a few things to the engine and it's fun. I haven't driven a st but I've herd great things about it and from what I've herd is you can rip that thing down a back road and have a killer time in a straight line to. what does everyone on here think would be the better choice
I read a lot of comments here people complaining about 25k-35k for 200hp crank? Guess what. The car wasn't built for power it was built for balance. Have these people every heard the phrase "Races are won in the corners". Straight line speed isn't worth shit if you can't take the corner at the end.
i knew exactly who's car that was when i first seen at the beginning of the video. That is one of the sickest fry's I've seen and tomcat done an amazing job on it.
I don't need it...I don't need it..... I NEEEEED ITTTTTT
Tj Hunt You need it.
I think you need it, but I may be wrong
Definitely need it
TJ, don't lie to your self! Come to the boosted side!
U need it
Big thanks to TC for letting me drive his awesome ride!
Stay awesome.

ThatDudeinBlue How would you compare the power/handling of this turbo frs to the ecoboost mustang?
ThatDudeinBlue Great video ! Im so glad i got a light weight 50:50 ratio,2 seater, high redline , most solid gearbox ever car.. Guess ?
Great review!, would you happen to know the wheel specs?
They look like 18x8.5
H0okemh0rns Both sports cars you can have for around the same price, but the turbo kit is going to push the frs into GT range. But the new mustang has IRS, and the ecoboost only weighs 3550. Thank you again so much for the review! It's so weird watching someone else drive your car though XD I'm so sunburned in the flyby shot hahaha!!
Love the car man, it's set up very nice.
TC9700Gaming i new that was ur frs in the thumbnail
TC9700Gaming What made you chose the frs over the brz?
Clean built dude, get rid of the fucking tow hook in my opinion, it just doesn't look good, again, my opinion it looks ricey
The tow hook is bolted to the frame, so it's not going anywhere
It sucks that even tho the car stock is nicely balanced, if they sold it with a turbo, it would be one of the best all around sports cars made
Andrew Mckay yea subaru could make an sti version then toyota/scion could toss a toyota v6 in it with 300 hp
+Hype Tempo people wanted a cheap rwd tail happy car and thats what toyota gave them. They're going to save the more powerful v6 platform for the future supra/ft-1.Why have 2 cars canibilizing sales
***** this car isn't cheap for 200 hp. Needs at least 250
Hype Tempo okay or go for any other cheap rwd car out there. Miata being it's main competition its 31k starting with 30 less hp
You all act like you cant add the turbo yourself they built the car friendly so you can mod it...
COME TO CANADA! :P
Lol u going to let him drive your g35 if he does
Slap turbo your g35 and then he'll review it!!!!
Wass up slap
Ayyyy Slappp!
TheSLAPTrain1 wtf you live in canada, toronto here

The BRZ and FRS should have came from the factory with a turbo.
Yes a sti setup
cost 33k usd
And a Vape
The second gen is confirmed to have turbo. 2021. Your prayer has been answered.
Paul Allen No it’s not, in fact it won’t be getting a turbo at all.
Great review man! I definitely agree with you that it needs more power. After almost 2 years of owning mine I really wanted more power. If I had been able to keep the BRZ I would have definitely gone forced induction eventually.

When the car revved. My subtitled said "armanian Hong yan in " when he floored it it said "boo"
Probably the sexiest FRS that I have ever seen.
Not even close, ive seen way better
Caligrown92511 That's why I said "I have ever seen"
Stupid Caligrown smokes too much dope
It looks completely stock but with black wheels and smoked tails.
Yeezy Yeezy +1 this car looks good (not overdone like many of the FRS/BRZ ricebuckets out there...)
Great video man, I seen the thumbnail & I was like "is that TC's FR-S" lol, turns out it was. Completely agree with you, the car needed an extra go power :P
I love that review *****
I'm saving up for the 86. it'll be my first manual car as well
same
Right choice mate. My brother bought a used one, which was basically new and the price was cut half. Awesome ride
OLIVIA EXSUPERVILLAIN get a mustang🙃🙃 love FRS's but for the money you could get a lot more, or maybe even just a 240. But to each his own, hope you get it
im getting one too. insurance is way cheaper than a mustang and great on gas. good for me since i start college soon

Me too bro! :)
arcticman117 I was thinking that and then when I saw the wheels I was like 99% sure,
arcticman117 same
Americanows always need more power.
Test drive the cars in a race circuit.
You cant tell how good is a car just driving
in straight line...
Seriously. So tired of youtube reviewers that just floor it on the highway and call that sport driving.
Well, that's just what you need for fun on American roads
Um you need more than 200hp for track
Sengeto we don’t have any other type of roads the fuck do you want us to do? 😖
@@RubyXIII bro you don't have mountains over there huh ,never thought of having mountain run with cars.

One of the best looking one that ever seen
Im guessing you've never seen one before?
Caligrown92511 these guys, smh.
Caligrown92511 or maybe he just likes clean cars
Yeah I definitely agree that the toyobaru twins need just a little more power mainly torque from factory! very clean car, i like the color scheme a lot

6:53 that sound is pure heaven
FRS!!!
Id personally keep mine NA though...Sadly... I must wait for one...
(Single tear)
Nice video. 2022 refresh both 86 and BRZ no different still lacking power.
THIS IS THE BRAND THAT KIDS LIKE

take that tow hook off, why do people do that
Jackary2726 OFFICIAL It's aftermarket. There is a piece that goes over the hole.
This car sees track time so there actually is a purpose
this car has never been on a track just country roads if you watch his videos. and it's actually a dual purpose gopro mount but yeah I still don't like it

TheBlackWaltz But torque gets multiplied through the driveline, so you both are wrong.
SouthlandFlyer That's not exactly how it works. You measure torque in the closest to a 1:1 gear on a dyno.
I have really wanted a BRZ for about a year now and this makes me want one so much more!
this guy did his FRS justice
I don't get why people find it difficult to merge into traffic with these cars. Why aren't people that drive Corollas, civics and other econoboxes complaining about it? It's not like you need to go 200 km/h to get onto the highway
Rest In Peace This Awesome Little Beast, May Your Many Choo Choos Live Long In Heaven...
fyi thatdudeinblue. 151lb. ft. of torque at the crank with drivetrain loss equates to about 130-135 ft lbs. at the wheels. 90 would mean a 40% drivetrain loss. Nothing has had that since the automatics of the 1940s.
Tomcat's FR-S?
Totally agree about the standard wheels
As soon as I saw the picture then read the tital I already knew. TOMCAAAAAT!!!
I rode in the back of one of these (86 version) and my head was resting on the back window. I had to learn forward to stop my head going through the window when we hit a bump or came to a sudden stop :P
Wow! So that is actually TC's car!! Awesomeness great review. :)
My old car, GT Eclipse 4th Gen(2006) had same deal... two seat, with two...things in back supposed to be seats..
Alot of ppl HATE subaruwrxfan since he asked for money for his mustang! I lost respect for that guy since he did that
DoubleD 613 What chance he had he smashed away by asking for money, what a joke.
Can I get in on what happened?
I know right. To top it off he's so freaking annoying!
He's such a fraud
Love the exhaust sound, the tail lights, and the added power of the turbo.
screw the flat 4, I rather have the v6 3.5 on a camry.
Put it in an mr2!!
I understand both sides of the boosted GT86 argument, I think that the car doesn't need to be fast, its not a racecar, it's a car that builds a driver and will give rewarding feedback in everything you do. Allthough, if you want to build a fast one then all the best, to each there own.
I knew it was tomcats as soon as I seen the thumbnail was waiting for this :)
brandon anderson ME TOO
Im a straight up muscle car guy but i absolutely love these cars. If i was younger and single again i would definently give these a second look along with the subura brz.
James May sticker :D
The dude in blue is literally the #1 person on youtube to get a inside look at different cars. Don't know anyone else that could compare with him.
This car needs a few things to be perfect. First, it needs more low. It is at a performance stance as he calls it, but it just needs a little more. Second, it needs to be debadged. So many badged on the back, between tomei, frs, and scion. Third, it needs less stickers. Finally, fourth, the tow hook needs to be taken off the front
please stop... your comment is burning my eyes
Then why don't you buy one and do that to yours instead of telling him what he should do
First off the needs to be low?
I have a supercharged Frs in New York if you ever want to review it, around same power output but a whole different way in reaching it
ayyyy it's tomcat's car lol
Anyone know if TC ended up blowing this car up? Did it throw a rod or something?
25+k for 200 crank HP.. yeah that's a bargain -No one.
With options like Evo's and S2000's for around the same price, yes, it has everything to do about HP.
Have you driven an s2k? It also ONLY has 200hp. Plus it doesn't go until vtec at all....
S2k2014 Evo is out of production though haha
Have I driven an S2000? I've owned 4. They have 200 WHEEL not 200 CRANK. That 40 extra HP is all the world of a difference. So please, don't try and argue. The S2000 has been, and until the FRS/BRZ puts a stock turbo on, always will be a better car for the $.
Yeah but i mean having driven both and currently owning the frs, I feel like the s2k is not that much different than the frs, with both really having all their power on the top end.
Thanks for going back to this type of review, I love your glamor shots and then the drive. Its a good format Dave! Keep up the good work!
Brz would of been a better choice . still clean car!
Carlos Padilla it is kind of the same car
Theyre the same car
It's the same car lmao
Subaru engines > Toyota well in my opinion
I don't think you understand. Same car, same engine.
This really does complete the FRS/86/BRZ
Next up!
KSI's Lambo! xD
last night i was just thinking of how i was going to do up my blue frs, and i was thinking duckbill rear spoiler, black 18inch tsw nurburgring rims, supercharger, and a 1 inch lower through adjustable coil overs.
You know what kind of push a Scion FRS needs, one that results the car going over a cliff.
Lol this kid jordan seems to be a "true" car guy!
I love the hellcat and the Scion FR-S
The hellcat is a completely different style of car, the frs is meant to be fun as an everyday driver well as the hellcat is used at traffic lights to impress the ladies walking by!
from a cinematic standpoint, def ur best intro bruh. good car, need more turbo brz's out there.
the frs originally was not meant to go straight. it's for drifting. silly americans always trying to go straight. no skill for that
Drifting? Bud, no you got it all wrong. It makes a great drift car, but it's supposed to be good sports car that can tackle mountain roads, and trust me, America has lots of them. Many of the really good ones are in California.
The real question is...Turbo or supercharger? Really leaning towards a supercharger for what I would want out of my FRS.
$35K for 200hp and Toyota/Subaru is shocked about low sales? What a joke.
Its 24k for ur arguement
Kingw3 No one pays full price for cars unless you're too rich to care. You can get one off lease for less than 20 grand.
Kingw3 35k? don't know what kind of frs's your looking at man.
prsguitar6910 I've seen some brand new for around that price in CA.
TyranitarComedian please show me where you can get an FR-S for under 20k
Beautiful car. Love the boost but i must say though even 300 is a little light on power. Minimum 375whp dd and 450ish for street nights
This is the first time, in a long time, that I am seeing a BRZ/FRS without a Rocket Bunny kit. Legit haha! Love the Enkei wheels on it. The deep concave in the rear looks very attractive.
Did Forest have a black STi? I remember a guy from Greensboro NC named Forest that had an STi in like 04-05.
Just enough power to have fun, no ridiculously loud muffler or obnoxious spoiler/the likes. This car is perfect.
6:44 is that the evo you were just in like a week ago?
i drove my buddy's stock frs today, i noticed that you get like absolutely no power low in the rev range and i feel like a turbo would make that worse...
There's a huge torque dip in the the stock frs. I heard that swapping out the headers and tuning it out will resolve it
Have you seen the JUN BR-Z with two ninja engines meshed to make a V8 that revs to like 11K? It's epic...
i don't know manual but i'm the typical teen who wants to drift corners and after watching the Top Gear episode with this car I fell in love. Two questions, one: should i get the stick shift or paddle shift? and two: does the Paddle Shifter auto shift when the Revs redline? (Side note i don't know how to drive anything other than full auto but paddle seems easier)
The 86/frs/brz should come stock like this, or at least have a stock turbo variant
I would Super before turbo on this little car honestly, I think the linear-ness of the supercharger would preserve the "purity" of it and keep it feeling very stock just with more punch. Maybe 275 at the wheels with a linear band? That sounds pretty sweet to me...
I feel like this is near perfect build for the twin. Practical and tasteful. Great job
Idk why the FRS/BRZ are always talked up by how light they are, but they arent all that light. There are plenty other cars that are feathers compared to these.
+ThatDueinBlue When are you going to do a video of a single-turbo rotary FD with say...~400rwhp?
If you're ever in California(Sacramento County), I've got a pretty little 2014 tC for you to drive around. Not a performance car but beats the stock 86 in a straight line!
lol my friend wanted to test drive one and the guy who had to go with him asked me if i wanted to go. i offered to sit in the back and the big car dealer guy decided to sit in back so i could have a nice ride. he could barely get in and getting out was even worse
Wao you did make the car way better thanks man I'm going to put a decent size turbo Mabey drop it a bit more but can't find good tired for it
I want the comments to help me..
67mm turbo rah that's huge for 305hp
I read a lot of comments here people complaining about 25k-35k for 200hp crank? Guess what. The car wasn't built for power it was built for balance. Have these people every heard the phrase "Races are won in the corners". Straight line speed isn't worth shit if you can't take the corner at the end.
i knew exactly who's car that was when i first seen at the beginning of the video. That is one of the sickest fry's I've seen and tomcat done an amazing job on it.
You kept talking about how the exhaust was so quiet, but that's probably because of the turbo. They quiet the exhaust down so much
