Thank you! I called the dealer and they told me these were not pre wired for powered mirrors, after this video I checked and had everything in my 2017 that you did. You just saved me a lot of money to have someone else do this for me. The fact that powered mirrors aren't a standard feature on a vehicle this size blows my mind. Again Thank you for the video!
Awesome video. Well done, and great information. I'm so glad I found this video and that you explained that you don't have to pull off the door handles! I took my panels off today and the connectors were right there as you showed. The only info that I would like to have is which brand of mirrors you bought. There are so many different ones that look the same, but I have heard bad things about certain ones that are not OEM. Once again, I am VERY thankful for this information, and thanks for taking the time to do this!
Legendary video! Going to go check my 2013 1500 5.3L LT right now. Update: holy smokes!!! I’ve got everything already installed I need! Time to get my parts list together! Cheers mate 🍻
Great video and well explained! I'm the 200th subscriber! Keep up the good work. Looks like only passenger van comes with pre wired harness. I have a cargo van and mine doesn't have the wiring harness. I will have to draw the circuit. So sad...
Hello Tommy... Could you please tell me how you got power to the two switches? My Van is a 2017 Chevrolet Express, it comes with the cables and the fuse, but there is no power when I measure it as you say. Thanks for your help.
Great video; thank you. I've been looking for the full sized chrome wheel liners that you have on that van; mine is a 2016 LT extended wheelbase passenger van. Liner ads I've looked at indicate they are for up to like 2013 or so van. Are you happy with those and do they fit properly?
Just search Chevy Express wheel skins on that big online auction site. For about $60 for a set of four, they are a great value. They are held on by metal spring clips that attach to the same spot as your wheel balance weights do. If you are unlucky, you may have to slide a weight to clear. I had to move one of mine about an eighth of an inch. Mine are two years old and have held up well.
some how I ended looking at your video it wasn't related to a previews videos but I feel that I was lucky to found you, quick two questions: what is the part number for the mirrors and where did you bough them? And do you thing they will fit on my 2019 express? Overall great video, very good tutorial!!!
Were the mirrors rigid and solid? Years ago I bought side mirrors from Ebay before, and they would vibrate so much while driving. It was so flimsy, they were unusable.
I found the wires, as shown in the video, in our 2019 Chevy Express, but when I tested for voltage, there are no volts (I also tested with the engine on). A 10amp fuse is installed and came with the van. Any thoughts on how I would find out if these connectors will work for power mirrors?
I have a 2017 Chevy Express 3500 15 passenger van and the part that you said to order for the switch to snap into GM#15136564 DOES NOT fit. Can you please respond asap? Thanks!
Anyone who has tried this but doesn't have power to the wiring, did you figure out how to power it? Since this is an always hot wire, i wonder if all we would need to do, is let's say pull power from the lock switch and run it to the mirror switch connector? Found this video that might explain the lack of power. ruclips.net/video/PWYC4pDsqm0/видео.html

Is your 2017 a passenger or cargo?

Great video, I would love for you to do a video on the brake controller and wiring to 7 pin plug on rear. Pretty please?
Great video.
I was wondering if you could provide the links on where you found the switch and the trim plate.
Thanks again for the video.
Great video, full of details. Thank you for making and posting this video.

Will this let you operate passenger mirror also?

Can you add the door harness to passenger and driver door ? I have an older 2006 express van . Just wondering
Great video, very informative!

Great video 📹
Thanks
Can I get a link for the mirrors you bought
Just search Chevy Express mirrors on e bay. I did a best offer for $100. They are working perfectly.
gotta be a md boy? essex or dundalk?
Do you need power windows to do this? I have manual mirrors and windows. Am I outta luck to do this?
Don't know, but it's easy enough to pop the small door panel off and see if you have the connector plugs available.
I have the connectors on my express that you have I have the 5amp fuse in but the turn signal did not work
Leroy, did you add power mirrors to your van without? So everything worked except the blinker? What year and model is your van?
2016 express I did not add power mirrors just mirrors with turn signals
