For everyone who is sad about missing out on the twilight palette I got it and it’s not my favorite! I’ve used some of their other core palettes and they are so much better than this formula, the mattes didn’t blend as well as I wanted them to sadly (I used the two nuetral browns) and the green was so lack luster!!! Over all I give her a 5/10 I’m happy I have it tho😭

Fenty using cherry is actually so unique to Rihanna. It’s not actually cherry, it’s Barbados Cherry which is a completely different fruit called acerola native to Barbados. So it’s perfect for her.
Considering all the deep grungy grey / black / red palettes Glamlite did this fall, it was smart of Colourpop to make their Twilight palette based on the film stills, as well as making it a lot more wearable and even a bit winter/spring in colour story. You just never know which IPs they will put real effort into!
Yup, I don't buy Pat anymore. So many repeats. All the shades in this quad came from the Christmas face palettes except the light "inner corner" shade. 🤔
Not only did the twilight collab sell out in 5 seconds but they also waited 2 weeks and then told a bunch of folks who WERE able to make orders that their items are backordered for another 6 weeks anyway. I was able to get the palette and the lip set and it arrived yesterday. The shimmers in the palette are kinda shit tbh

I just got the cotton candy Laneige mask! It smells amazing. Kind of a raspberry cotton candy. It definitely gives the lips a blue-purple tint though lol. That’s fine- I’ll wear it at night
I'm usually not a fan of cotton candy scents, but the Laneige lip mask smells like a juicy jolly rancher! Also, the new Glow Recipe toner promo pictures make it look like orange chicken lol

@@bebacake212 Unless you have a specific allergy, there's no reason why you should be afraid of the ingredient list because it's pretty standard to a lot of lip products. The only reason to avoid Laneige is if you're seeking a cruelty free brand because the parent company, Amore Pacific, does participate in third party testing in order to comply with requirements to sell in a certain market. Until the previous individual explains their reasoning as to why certain ingredients in the formula are scary, I'm assuming they're attempting to spread chemophobia.
I have a few shades of the Elf liquid blushes, I really like them, I heard other people say they are more comparable to the Juvia's place blushes rather than Rare beauty, but I can't say since I have neither of those two
I like the Moira Chroma Light shadows! I got Opal Glazed (pretty, pretty iridescent green topper), Blossom skies (turquoise blue shimmer with gold pinpoint glitters), Lilac Love (sheer purple-blue topper), & Unbothered (bronzey chartreusey duochrome) and the topper shades definitely give that scattered glitter topper effect, but the ones with the more pigmented bases were almost metallic (especially Unbothered). I also picked up a few other things I'd been interested in, and HOLY MOLY, if you want maximum sparkle, their Starstruck Chrome Loose Powders are AMAZING.
the shimmer spongetip side of the kaja shadow stick is meant for the aegyosal (undereye bag) - this style has been popular in kbeauty for awhile now. that being said, i had one from the saem before and it sucked. the spongetip was way too huge for my aegyosal and the shimmer pot got very messy.
Oooo I will def buy the salt compact. I used it for single shadows when I’m traveling but then I wrap my Salt foundation and cling wrap to protect it lol, so this is. A great solution for just one or two compacts. If you have 3+ just buy their case

The twilight pallete is cute if you think of it from a strictly Forks washington angle. I would have been happy if they made a series of palettes, like a Volturi palette for New Moon with more reds, a werewolf palette for Eclipse, and an ethereal vampire wife/mom themed palette for Breaking Dawn.

I bought the laneige lip sleeping mask in cotton candy as soon as it released because I thought it was so fun and pretty. It turns to a light lilac colour on the lips. However, I don’t get much “cotton candy”…smells delicious like raspberries? But tastes floral which I am not a fan of.
No, the new Sol de Janeiro doesn’t attract spiders. 😂 An entomologist from the Smithsonian debunked this. He said that it HIGHLY unlikely that a cosmetic company could put the EXACT chemical components in the exact quantities that would attract spiders. 😁 Instead, it is the weather and climate that brings the spiders indoors. I used to live in WA, and used to hate winter. 😊
Have you looked at the makeup from florasis? Its a chinese brand that does makeup with gorgeous engraving on the packaging and embossing on the makeup itself, makes me feel so pretty when i use their makeup!

Thank you sooooo much for talking in detail about the Fenty balm. I've been on the hunt for the best one out there that isn't a tub/jar, but I am SO picky. The original Agave+ formula from BITE before they ~went vegan~ was the only stick (and jar, and tube) long-wearing balm and treatments that worked. They were my go to! This DOES NOT sound like that would cut it for me. 😢
Lauren I really love the amazon clay formula. I have a skin that tans and olive under tones. I really hated the way Tarte tried to pivot to the larger palettes. I missed the clay smell and the packaging. I do enjoy the non paper package they put out...BIG SUPRISE THO getting the new tarte palette love the smell and love this formula. I have been going full circle to my money and I love the green and blue in there. I have to say with Tarte its liking starving and you drive into a small place on the road at night. THEN you see the GOLDEN arches!!! lol....

Yep the yellow tube. I own it and it does work when your lips are in bad shape! Also smells like an orange creamsicle. It actually works so that’s why I didn’t return it and kept it. So many lip treatments and none of them work, but that one actually does. When my lips are wind chapped I can apply that to my lips and they feel better almost instantly!
I feel like if I get the Mini Dream palette I won’t need the big Nude one. (Quite like the look of the Big Dream palette, but the Mini is where it’s at.)

I bought the Natasha Denona cheek berry pallete and the lip products!! I LOVE the cheek palette! I use my rare beauty cream blush brush and it worked beautifully!! The lip priducts are really good quality but not the right shade for me!! It leaned way too brown berry on me! I waa hoping for a more purplish berry for the lip!! The blush palette is really pigmented so alittle goes a long way!! Ive seen a lot of reviews were they come out looking clownish and hated it but you just need the right brush with a light touch!!!❤❤❤
I think you'd really like the highlighters from the Flower Knows collection! I have the shade Paradise Lost that they re-released and it's so good. I really want to get at least one other shade from this one. The sparkles are so fine but multi-dimensional, really gives that watery glimmer. I put it on everywhere I can on my face 😂 it's so good on top of eyeshadow too.
I got the body mist from rare beauty as well, it reminds me of byredo bal d’afrique scent! Didn’t notice it being oily tho but will be paying more attention next time I spray it.
I have to say that a lot of people complain about Pat's shipping and customer service. I have only purchased 3 items in the past and found the shipping very fast and didn't need customer service. I really wasn't thrilled with eyeshadow colors and like everyone says, they are all the same. Would rather spend my money on Indie brands.
Let me just say, for me, no lip mask has ever compared to the Wet N Wild Lavender Lip Mask. (NOT the grapefruit mint one in the same style packaging). The Laneige lip mask was nowhere near as good as the WNW one. I couldn't wait to be done with my Laneige one to go back to my holy grail. Especially when you've broken through the top layers of the Wet N Wild and you get to the next layer, the moisturizing oils are really there and it's so good. I've gone through probably a dozen myself, I give them to allllll my friends, family and coworkers and they love it too.
@@ZijnShayatanica I will say, it’s not overly strong, you don’t really taste it and it doesn’t persist. But it actually has a surprisingly authentic lavender smell. Not artificial. I used to hate the smell of lavender for most of my life!! 😩😆 I like it now, but it can turn me off easily if it’s done badly.
Milly (BadtotheBrow) did a full range swatch and comparison video on those Moira shadows. They look amazing and definitely on par with some UD and indie shadows.

People say elf dupes lots of makeup but sometimes people how make elf could have an idea to make something like liquid blush or something else and they don’t realise it is a dupe.
The only thing I can think of with the repeat color stories is that makeup goes bad. It should be replaced regularly. So if you're going to replace a daily driver kind of palette, brands want you to see their newest version of the the honda civic you know you're going to use the most
The Kaja sticks are almost the exact same sponge tip applicator with dual ends as the Etude House ones from their old branding- more an aegyosal look and not super flattering for me, which is sad because I love a shadow stick :(

Actually the balm that is compared to the Laneige is not the stick form, but the one that comes in a jar where you push a little out at a time.

I think you'd really like the highlighters from the Flower Knows collection! I have the shade Paradise Lost that they re-released and it's so good. I really want to get at least one other shade from this one. The sparkles are so fine but multi-dimensional, really gives that watery glimmer. I put it on everywhere I can on my face 😂 it's so good on top of eyeshadow too.

I have to say that a lot of people complain about Pat's shipping and customer service. I have only purchased 3 items in the past and found the shipping very fast and didn't need customer service. I really wasn't thrilled with eyeshadow colors and like everyone says, they are all the same. Would rather spend my money on Indie brands.
Let me just say, for me, no lip mask has ever compared to the Wet N Wild Lavender Lip Mask. (NOT the grapefruit mint one in the same style packaging). The Laneige lip mask was nowhere near as good as the WNW one. I couldn't wait to be done with my Laneige one to go back to my holy grail. Especially when you've broken through the top layers of the Wet N Wild and you get to the next layer, the moisturizing oils are really there and it's so good. I've gone through probably a dozen myself, I give them to allllll my friends, family and coworkers and they love it too.

@@ZijnShayatanica I will say, it’s not overly strong, you don’t really taste it and it doesn’t persist. But it actually has a surprisingly authentic lavender smell. Not artificial. I used to hate the smell of lavender for most of my life!! 😩😆 I like it now, but it can turn me off easily if it’s done badly.

Milly (BadtotheBrow) did a full range swatch and comparison video on those Moira shadows. They look amazing and definitely on par with some UD and indie shadows.

People say elf dupes lots of makeup but sometimes people how make elf could have an idea to make something like liquid blush or something else and they don’t realise it is a dupe.
The only thing I can think of with the repeat color stories is that makeup goes bad. It should be replaced regularly. So if you're going to replace a daily driver kind of palette, brands want you to see their newest version of the the honda civic you know you're going to use the most

The Kaja sticks are almost the exact same sponge tip applicator with dual ends as the Etude House ones from their old branding- more an aegyosal look and not super flattering for me, which is sad because I love a shadow stick :(
