My daughter and I have TRANSLUCENT Eyebrows and Eyelashes! She colors her eyebrows with…MEN’S BEARD DYE! She said, “even if it gets in my eye (which only happened once) it doesn’t burn.” I said, “Of course not, men would NEVER use something that is even the tiniest bit uncomfortable!”😂😂
Yes! I use the mustache & beard dye from Just For Men in my brows, and the light brown shade is the perfect midtone taupe for my blonde brows! It’s like $10 and I’m going to easily get like 100 uses out of it. I dye them every 1-2 weeks so that’s like 2-4 years of dye!
Oh man, after YEARS of listening to people rhapsodize about Bioderma, I decided to buy a small travel bottle... AND IT FEELS SO MUCH BETTER THAN GARNIER OR SIMPLE OR ANY OTHER BRAND. I got the blue cap formula & it's really so soothing, doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or sting my eyes. I'll still primarily oil cleanse for makeup/SPF removal, but for days when I'm really sick & can't handle my usual skincare process? I'm glad I finally took the plunge & tried it! I hate loving something that's so expensive when there are cheaper alternatives, but like... It's GENUINELY better & it makes me mad. 😂🤣
Dye the brows! I’m a brunette and I had been wanting to bleach my brows for years and I was TERRIFIED. and then I did it. I love it so much! I’m so glad I finally did it. I know you’re going in the opposite direction, but you’re gonna love the brow change.
I really used to hate flossing, it made me so uncomfortable and my teeth aren’t the best so it always hurt. Getting a Waterpik really changed the game for me, and I highly recommend it for anyone who has a hard time with traditional floss!
@laurenmaebeauty the clumping inside the Dermalogica microfoliant bottle is actually a small sachet of silica, which absorbs any moisture. It rattles around inside, and is more noticeable when there is less product inside. I discovered this when I worked out how to open the bottle - the top part of the bottle, the casing with the hole in the top - you can pull or screw it off.
Random! But for the Milkfoliant I don’t think it’s bits that have clumped together, I think it’s one of those little moisture absorption packets rattling around to keep it from clumping (that’s in their Daily Microfoliant one at least!) Also you can pull off the top completely to look inside too!
I watched a video where this hairdresser said that people often can’t keep their hair clean because of their dirty brushes. Clean your brushes every couple months. Remove the hair first with a tool or your hand, obviously. Use dawn dish soap and water in a big bowl. Scrub them with a denture brush. Let them soak for a bit, probably 30 minutes. Let them dry on a towel. He doesn’t like wooden brushes. I guess those are hard to keep clean.
@@prettyacct Ideally people would remove hair from their brushes after each use as part of maintenance. Then, they would deep clean their brushes when needed. The time frame changes depending on the amount of styling product used and brush usage. You are right, though. Once a month is probably more ideal for the average person. I don’t actually brush my hair, often. I have wavy hair & I use my fingers. I stretch my deep cleans to 2 months.
Girl, Ouai is getting ready to drop a St Barts Hair and Body Mist at Sephora! I know you love St Barts so just wanted to let you know! I’m excited too, definitely going to grab one once Sephora notifies me that they’re in stock💯
I ordered a few B&BW hand soaps- but couldn’t find the one you suggested. I got a few that I’ve never tried and through 4/29 they’re $2.99/each. I remember from shopping there years ago that they run sales often, but that price seems pretty good. 🤷🏼♀️ I’ve also saved this video so that I can use your links to order the Le Labo and Aesop ones this summer for some “hard to buy for” gifts. I LOVE the idea of a bougie, unisex hand soap ! Thanks Lauren ♥️
"We have integrity when it comes to washing our hands" loved that! I lather without water first to spread the soap and then water, and repeat, ex hospital employee, 😆Loved your video, per usual, and missed ya girl. Ps: We go to new orleans 2-4 times a year, love it!!!❤
Yes! I also really like the Bioderma micellar water. I’ve seen one that looks really similar called garnier (I think 😅) but I haven’t that brand before. Just like you said, when I truly don’t feel like I have enough energy to take off my makeup, Bioderma is the way to go!
CeraVe cleansing oil wash is really nice. I’m actually not a huge CeraVe person but I bought it on a whim while perusing Target and I used it up. I will repurchase it but I am finishing other products I have.
Have you tried soap and glory scrubs? I had one that i really liked. It was suspended in more of a goey texture over a thin or oily base. It lasted longer than most body scrubs I've tried.
Girl I'm in the same boat! Mascara is a must! I'm naturally blonde too and have translucent brows and eyelashes! Mascara and filling in my brows are the necessities if I'm going to bother putting on any makeup. Makes the HUGEST difference!
The bioderma micellar is a product I’ve repurchased for like 4 years. I use it everyday and the only micellar that doesn’t make my skin dry or irritated! I use it every morning instead of washing my face when I wake up. Love it!
I will go to great lengths to find travel sizes of the products I love and use too!! Also, if you haven’t already, try the Vacation candle. Kinda pricey, but so good.
Thank you for your video, i enjoyed watching it. I also got the gisou in advent calendars and went on the buy the full size, love the scent, i also have the hair mist and love it. I also love the lalicious lavender scent, wow! Its so nice to go to sleep with. I loved that oil too. Id recommend you try the nuxe dry oil. Its a HG for me. Not crazy about the scent but its a great product. Finally, for the sisley black rose mask, leave it on all night. Its wonderful. Thank you again.
I think you’d love this hand soap I got recently- Baylis and Harding “goodness”, it’s oud, cedar, and amber scented and the scent and packaging scream Aesop. I found it in target near the aluminum method soaps. Highly recommend!
I recommend Baebrow for coloring your eyebrows. I was super scared the first time, but it works. It's subtle, only lasts about a week for me, doesn't stain the skin, and since I don't use much (I have very thin eyebrows, not on trend I know) the tube has lasted a long time.
Color your brows. Blinde, very blonde eyebrows, dark blonde lashes. Ive had my brows colored and it was wonderful, Ive changed jobs so I don't anymore, working from home. Go for it girl ❤
The SKIN1004 Madagascar centella light cleansing oil is my favorite!! It’s soooo light and thin and takes off my makeup easily and doesn’t leave a residue after on your face. My sister who generally dislikes cleansing oils and prefers balms tried my bottle and actually bought one for herself bc she liked it so much!
Go for it! Dye your brows! I have been for 15 years! I just put on the same hair dye when I’m dyeing my hair! Actually, now my hairdresser does. She dyes hers too. Try it. It’s easy!!!!
Dye your brows! Just try it! I've been doing it for years and every time I take a break from it and come back I'm reminded how much I like it. Especially on no/low makeup days. If you don't like it then it will be gone in a month. I mix ash brown and brown to get a good colour. I have blonde brows and they take the colour quickly. If i only use ash brown they tend to look a bit too grey or (one time) black😮. Love from Sweden ❤
As a fellow blonde girlie, highly recommend dying the brows! Just make sure to be really precise about the brow shape you want with the dye. That way you won’t have to pluck 😊
I love the Bioderma gel cleanser, the larger sizes come in a pump. I had the small size and I agree that it is too liquid for the tube. I have normal skin so I could see where if you have oily skin this might not be the right cleanser for you.
I’m sorry if you’ve already tried this, I can’t remember, but if you want to try a lip scrub I like the refy one that has an exfoliating tip and the liquid in it is very watery. Gotta clean the bristles a bit but it exfoliates well for me :)
I woke up looking like Heat Meiser but now im appreciating the fact that ive got volume and lift lol! My hair is ALL lift, but im often so jealous of soft shiny hair like Lauren's. Gotta appreciate that horse hair texture sometimes happens on people, cool im part 🐎
So excited to listen to this while i work on my senior thesis project! You talking about that tubing mascara is really making me wanna try one... I double cleanse every night and even without a dedicated makeup remover I don't have issues getting my current mascara off. Thanks for the great video as always! 🫶🫶

Since I know you love the Mod Vanilla perfume, I wanted to let you know that BBW has a candle called Vanilla Cloud that came out this Spring that smells like it!
I love getting so many mini reviews in one video! I’m very fair with a complexion similar to yours, and I definitely want to try that Kosas bronzer! The new NYX one has been tempting me though 👀 I’ve tried so many brow products and I just always come back to the ABH brow wiz. Nothing lasts as good for me. I did get the NYX one for $3 recently on clearance so I have to give that a try, I’m just an ABH girl at heart. I use the pencil, powder and their brush because I think nothing applies as well as that. I know Glamglow had an eye mask like that a while ago, but I never tried them. There’s so many good things you discussed that I’d be here all night 🤣 But I also adore the coco floss! It’s expensive but definitely worth it!
If you like hand soap you should try the Chef’s Blend scent from Plainview Farms. It’s a great fall /holiday scent, but I love it so much I use it all year round. It’s so unique.
Happy Friday, Lauren!! So excited for this big boy video ❤❤❤ your eyes are so catting !! No shade, just asking....Please consider using some Ulta links, as i don't shop Sephora and i would love to be able to support your channel more ❤
I also love the YTTP cleanser. Since you enjoyed Augustinus Bader moisturizer, the reverse emulsion from InnBeauty project is really nice (I think it’s called Extreme Cream)
I love the Tactcha cleansing oil even though it kills me for the $$ but it works and I’d rather pay for something I know I like than try a bunch of others and waste the $$. Doesn’t leave oily residue and great at removing makeup!
I love those hand soaps, love the aroma that gives me like a boost of happiness such a small thing and it is like a few seconds of mental boost while washing your hands!!! (Hand washing integrity 😂)
Does anyone have any makeup removing cleansing oil recs? I have the peach and lily and like it. I just bought the caudalie to try but haven't yet. Always love a rec!
I feel like i go through tree hut scrubs so so fast. I like the moonlight glow scent a lot. But i feel like it goes so fast. I mean i have a big body 😂. I use it a couple times before aelf tanner and i need more.
Try dying your brows! Don’t stress because worst case you hate them, the dye only lasts like a month! I am the same way and am very pale and don’t like how most blonde eyebrow gels look on me. But I love having dyed brows! It has been hard for me to find a professional who won’t dye them too dark, so just ask for the lightest shade possible and the shortest processing time.
Have you considered having your eyebrows tinted professionally? I think it’s a good way to decide if you’d want to permanently dye your brows - from one blonde gal to another
Ok, Augustinus Bader rich cream is so stinkin good. I have mature, dry skin and live in Phoenix. Its very expensive and Im asking for it for my birthday (end of July) and Christmas from all family members to chop in on one jar 🌌 my holy grail. 🥇
😂😂😂😂 thats hilarious definitely no discomfort gonna happen
Same! I love Just for Men stuff!
My mom and sister in law use that on their brows too!
Too funny 😂😂😂
Mascara is the #1 product I NEED! If I'm wearing makeup, I'm wearing mascara
YEP
Same! I look like I have no eyelashes otherwise lol
As a fellow blondie, I've totally used the Just for Men beard tint on my brows before with good results!
Bumping this because Just For Men dye is 100% my holy grail!! The package lasts FOREVER & the tint looks incredibly natural.
I'm a redhead and I used to use it too! I get microblading and tinting done now but the just for men works great.
Me too, it's great

Costco carries the pink one. Just putting this out there 👀
In the middle of finals for my last semester of law school and this video couldn’t have been dropped at a better time❤
Good luck 🍀
Good luck with the bar!
Good luck 💪🏽🙌🏾
Good luck!!
Congratulations!!
Dye the brows! I’m a brunette and I had been wanting to bleach my brows for years and I was TERRIFIED. and then I did it. I love it so much! I’m so glad I finally did it. I know you’re going in the opposite direction, but you’re gonna love the brow change.
Thank you for commenting about mental health and not being able to stick to a routine. Including things like skin care! So important.
i really missed you and hell yeah for the long video❤
I know… it was tooo long!! Glad you are here!! 🩷😊
I really like the Elf cleansing balm because washes off completely with no residue and it’s also affordable
Agreed it gets the job done and it’s affordable. I’m spending my money on skincare thank you very much. 😊
I do too but it's the not always the best deal when Clinique is on sail but I love the entire holy hydration 👌
Elf skincare is one of the most expensive per ounce at ulta and target, at least when you really will be using it up and repurchasing.
I really used to hate flossing, it made me so uncomfortable and my teeth aren’t the best so it always hurt. Getting a Waterpik really changed the game for me, and I highly recommend it for anyone who has a hard time with traditional floss!

Lauren your makeup is always so stunning.
Set your hair with rollers if you want bouncy hair. Game changer!
Omg the st bart fragrance....its about time!
I'm totally with you on the necessity of mascara! Like, I don't wear eye makeup every day, but if I'm doing eyeshadow, mascara is required!!

Im a fan of paul mitchell lemon sage its somehow simultaneously great fot fine hair and seems moisturizing! I know the struggle

The hourglass tubing mascara is 👌🏼
I really like the tatcha rice powder stuff for gentle exfoliation. It's not cheap, but my container lasted me forever bc I didn't use it every day.
Love that you mentioned that skincare can be hard for ppl with mental health troubles❤
Yay Lauren’s back, cant tell you how happy and excited I was to see your vid in my feed 😂❤
feel like I haven't seen a video in ages! missed you! Love your recs always.
i’m so glad that you’re back!!! i’ve missed you!!! how excited are you for ouai’s body spray?!?! 🥰🥰🥰

Bioderma is better
Would love to see you do video about your current faves that you purchase from boxycharm/ipsy
Dye your brows! It's addictive! I have blond hair too and 2 days after I dye them are my best brow days!
Ok I NEED to just do it!!! 😊🩷
Yesssss do it!
DO ITTTTTTT.
I got the St Barts body mist early from Influenster! I love it 😊
Try to find the Acorn scent Meyers came out with. My whole family loves it. Smells like roasted chestnuts and spices. Really nice.
I love that you post long form content keep it up pls 🙈😁💕
i feel you on the mrs meyer’s fall scents - i prefer fall acorn but i stock up on it and it’s my cleaner spray all year

I love Le Labo’s hinoki shampoo and conditioner 😻😻😻 soooo good and worth every penny.
I use the aveno body oil spray while I'm still wet right after my shower. It smells fine, works really well on my dry dry arms, and it's like $7 lol.
That color shirt on you is everything. So nice 👍🏻
I will go to great lengths to find travel sizes of the products I love and use too!! Also, if you haven’t already, try the Vacation candle. Kinda pricey, but so good.
Also the “Pool Boy” and “Suite” candles by Vacation are different than anything I’ve had. Ulta puts them on sale, so I watch for them and stock up. 😊

Naturium has a rice enzyme exfoliating cleanser that’s really gentle and I love it.

It’s been a sec since my last video but I glad to be back!! Thanks for being here!!! 😊💕
Ms. Myers fall scents are the best! The apple cider and acorn one are my favorite.
I ve been dying my lashes and brows for years. Best thing to do!
Could not agree more on the apple cider Mrs. Meyers - it was perfect for fall. I hope it comes back.
Love from Sweden ❤
Mascara is a must for my blonde lashes. So I feel you
As a fellow blonde girlie, highly recommend dying the brows!
Desertland is awesome. The body wash, lotion and perfume…. Chef’s kiss!
Lauren, thank you for your authenticity!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

Yessss Mrs. Meyers Apple Cider is one of my favorite scents on Earth! 🙌🏻
And the Garnier micellar water is awesome if you haven’t tried that one yet!
I dye my brows with men's beard dye ! Life changing 🙌
Oooh maybe i should get the oua laundry stuff for my bedding. I have the Melrose perfume.
I got them (specifically for my bedding, too), and they do smell nice, but I was a little disappointed by the level of scent for the price.
@@entwashian thank you for the heads-up. I like strong fragrance
Elizavecca olive oil cleanser is amazing to remove makeup!
i don’t understand why using a different shampoo always feels so good - it can be misleading! you’re right!
Ditto with the Caliray- I always get dark mascara smudge under my eyes, and that one has no smudge - Hallelujah!
Love Dermalogica milkfoliant, and Ole Henricksen lemon exfoliant
Have you tried the Colourpop cleansing oil? It’s really good.
I got that gisou shampoo and conditioner and I hate it, im sorry its just bad with my hair!
Yeah the elf sunscreen pilled ontop of my other skincare.
I finally bought the Callie Ray Mascara off of your recommendation. It’s great! Thank you
Are you still posting the try on for the haul?!
If you like under eye masks get the reusable diuex skin ones! Way more cost effective
I felt the same way about the Elemis cleansing balm I was like what is everyone lying about!! Maybe I should've tried the other one
I'm curious about the Dr. Teals body scrubs, I can't remember if you've tried them. I always see them for sale right by the Tree Hut.
I had a really nice hand cream from necessaire but i don't think i like unscented things.
I love those hand soaps, love the aroma that gives me like a boost of happiness such a small thing and it is like a few seconds of mental boost while washing your hands!!! (Hand washing integrity 😂)
Would highly recommend hadalobo cleaning oil!!
Im totally sure you’ll go somewhere official for your first brow tints, but I straight up Just for Men’d my eyebrows after years of tinting, 10/10!
I think it’s a good way to decide if you’d want to permanently dye your brows - from one blonde gal to another
Hi Lauren! Happy Friday :)
