I spoke with X-factor's young sensation Beatrice Miller, where she talked about what it's like being on the show, challenges and all.
She also dishes on her relationship with Britney Spears and how talking with the pop star helped her deal with the pressures of being such a young talent.

you're right, & I hope you never lose that attitude as you grow up (assuming you're real young now).Your friend may just have been jealous of you,but it's good that you didn't hate back & showed you cared when she was hurting regardless if she was nice back. It's like you said we all need someone to care & many who aren't used to it when it comes to them, they really don't know how to react or really show their appreciation, so even if you don't get a thank you -just know you did the right thing

I'm British, I remember watching little bits of the X-factor USA on ITV, and at first I wasn't keen on Beatrice, she seemed a bit spoilt, however I was too quick to judge, she's actually such a sweet girl, and her loyalty to her sisters is so charming! She definitely isn't afraid to speak her mind!
she has the voice that is fresh and new music world needs this

I think for the most part people who are good to others on a daily basis and are genuine about it - just live a good life because the love and respect they show to others comes back to them a million times over. Those who are just plain mean to others typically have their own personal issues and struggles in life. Suffering comes in all forms, and sometimes as children if we're not loved,abused,or have no good role models we eventually grow up and our past can follow us if we dont come across...
she's so down to earth and awesome!! she tells it how it is!!! haha the interview part killed me!! LOL
This girl/teen is so amazing, a real talent that The X factor sent home. But don't forget - Britney didn't do that! And Britney knows she is a must. I have no doubts that I will see her on a big screen somewhere. "Lots of love for you, Beatrice."
and for those thinking this could be her only opportunity - these tv shows aren't going away. she's got amazing talent - this could have waited until next year once the parents are working again - if they really are out of work and really have been trying hard to get work. I know a lot of people out of work, but none of them really work hard to get a job - most collect from the government and just say - "there's no work out there." although - i see signs up all the time at stores/restaurants
yeah, that's why i try really hard not to be mean back to the people who are mean to me because they probably have something in their life that they're going through that makes them act like that. i actually emailed this girl who pretended to be my friend for a year 7 years ago and then was mean to me for the last 7 years as well, because she was crying in class and i wanted to make sure she was okay. everyone needs someone to care :)

yeah, i always feel great after doing something nice for people. i'm not saying that i'm one of those Canadians that are always nice because i do have my mean moments when people make me mad, but i try to be as nice as possible when i can because it feels good :) which now that i think about it, i wonder how people that are never nice feel...

yeah, i was thinking that too, but she could have had fundraisers to help save up to go or gone with a church or something on a mission's trip, just because she went to south africa doesn't mean that her family isn't poor :)
well, technically she never said that she was poor, she just said that she has a hard life at home for a 13 year old, one of the reasons being that her parents are unemployed. but, another reason is that her parents are separated but still live together and are arguing all the time which is stressful for a 13 year old to go through, especially when she has to take care of her sisters during that time.
eventually in life someone who is good - someone who supports us, accepts us for who we are, and helps us be better, kinder people in life. If that sort of person never comes along, and we didn't have a good start in life - life gets hard - and sometimes it's easier to bring others down instead of work hard to get out of the rough spot we may be in. Jealousy makes people be evil to others - or just because someone isn't exactly like us we can hate on them.....again - totally off video topic. :)

yeah, i wouldn't know about america's struggling economy because i'm canadian but it is sad that america does have a struggling economy. and yeah, she's my favorite on the show :)

ha - I think she's not alone. many americans have been struggling over the last few years with the bad economy - and throughout the world a lot of financial struggles, but - none of it matters if you have a strong family unit and good friends - that typically is more valuable than having to cut back a bit on some luxury stuff. and - i see people all the time "struggling" but still have Iphone, cable, a nice car, etc. anyway - I'm off subject. In the end - I really like this girl on the show.
doubtful that there's any drama. on their twitter pages they have photos of the three girls out together having fun. I'm sure they don't have a ton of time to be hating on her each other. they're stressed enough to get their songs together for each week, plus all the interviews and spending time with their family.

haha. too funny. but note that I'm an American and always hold the door open too for others. It's funny though because about a month ago I wondered why we always do that for others - even if they are several feet away and we just see them coming and know they're strong enough to open the door on their own - in general - we wait, holding it open for them. then - we feel good after that we were nice to someone else. ...

yeah, this one guy visited Canada from America and said that his whole visit he never touched a door handle because everyone kept holding the door open for him, which is true because we always hold the door open, but some Canadians are real jerks and you need to try so hard to restrain yourself, oh, and most Canadians, at least in BC, are bad drivers, at least from my perspective :)

why is that funny? I found it interesting that she said she went to South Africa over the summer yet in her interviews about her family she keeps stressing how poor they are and it has been so tough lately because one of her moms lost her job. However - they have enough money to fly to South Africa?
Agreed - it's all to add drama to the show, but her parents should be ashamed that they allow that to be aired, especially when it make it look like the daughter is doing all this to save her family from the hardship they're in. Right now - it looks like the parents are focused more on their daughters career than getting a job themselves - if they are out of work. They have to be with her through this whole process because she's a minor - so that has to cost a lot to be away from home.
Is it just me, or is Beatrice Miller a sort of Grandma sounding name..? But, I really like her, she's really good! (:

Time to switch to the Voice. I'm so over X-Factor! I don't think Beatrice would have won because she has a unique tone, but she's definitely better than Cece Frey and Paige Thomas.
She said she can't eat cheese before a performance because it's really bad for your voice. It's not like a bad luck thing to ear dairy it coats your throat on the wrong way and you can barely sing!
