    There's so many Diners in Jersey it's crazy. And then abandoned ones like this. Thank you for this video!

    Yea I've past by this place many of times and it's neat to see the inside is still maintained and in good shape!

      Totally agree with you there! The area by the entrance, with those well-preserved chairs and tables, seems to be in excellent condition despite the diner being abandoned.

    Had to be a nice restaurant at one point before the pandemic happened. Very interesting building setup and the interior definitely shows a vintage look. Great video, TeknBolt!

      Thanks for your comment, Andy! I completely agree, this diner must have been a great spot before the pandemic. It's definitely got that vintage charm, and you can tell it's been around for a while. That shot at 4:17 reminds me of how diners looked in the early 90s it looks so dated thanks for watching Andy!

    I love NJ diners and this was a really beautiful one. Such a shame it closed

      Thanks for watching, Ray! You know, it seems like diners have been having a rough time in NJ lately. It feels like every other month, another one is closing its doors.

    Hi TeknBolt! At 4:15 it looks like part of the ceiling collapsed inside. I like the glass light shades too, pretty cool. I can remember back in the 60s when NJ diners used to have little jukeboxes at every booth! This one reminds me of Matthews Colonial Diner in Bergenfield. It's still open under a different name these days. Thanks for another great video!

      Hey Terri! You've got a sharp eye I didnt see it when I was filming because of the glare. Those glass light shades are pretty sweet, aren't they? It's interesting that you mentioned Matthews Colonial Diner in Bergenfield, too. I was actually looking into that area recently and noticed the old Sears Home Appliance Store nearby I think it used to be a roller skating place called The Rink, right? Did you ever go there?

      @@TeknBolt Yeah I remember The Rink. You're right, it was near the diner. Right at the border of Bergenfield & Teaneck.

    Did you check out the Capital One in Parsippany? I did ask Aspen Dental to take over that one.

    One of the articles I read said it was supposed to be a Texas Roadhouse but not sure if that's still happening or not

    • @TeknBolt
      @TeknBolt  3 месяца назад +2

      Thanks for sharing that info! I hadn't heard about Texas Roadhouse potentially moving into that spot, but it would be a great location for a restaurant like that, considering how busy Route 46 is. It'll be interesting to see what eventually takes over the space. Whatever it is, they're sure to benefit from all that traffic!

    The diner looks like the coach house

      @TeknBolt  3 месяца назад +1

      I agree but from an exterior standpoint like the stone walls. I havent been to a coach house in a while, but I remember the stained glass light shades and more of a wooden interior.

    Never went to this one but it looks very similar to the colonial! 🎉

      Are you talking about the one in East Brunswick? Its funny because the sign almost has the same shape as this diner.

      @@TeknBolt yea on 18. Also kinda similar to the Americana in west windsor on 130 across from where Jamesway used to be.
      Actually all these places look the same when they have that stone veneer! 🤣🤣🤣
