ur uploads literally make my day. your consistent happy vibe always makes me feel better if i’m having a bad day. thank you for being a comfort booktuber. ❤️
You mentioned in one of your previous videos that you love text messages etc. in books. I would recommend reading 'Dear Aaron' by Mariana Zapata since the first half of the book is ONLY e-mails and text messages. IT WAS SO FUN! 😍 Pls make a reading vlog out of this
I love how you put in the aethetic of the book on the left side that's such a cool idea Just found you and you really make me want to watch more of your videos
I completed fell in love with Mariana Zapata's writing this year!! I've read almost all of her books at this point 😂 My favorites by her are Kulti and From Lukov With Love - but, honestly, all of them are amazing 💛
Question- for a person who has never read a fantasy book, which would be a better option to start with? "The Atlas Six" or "A Court Of Thorns And Roses"?
in terms of mariana zapata, my top three by her are; The Best Thing, Wait for It, & All Rhodes Lead here. My absolute favourites by her, had me smiling, crying, all the emotions. definitely read!!!
my fav book this year was definitely "better than the movies"! i absolutely fell in love with wes's character, and the childhood frenemies to lovers was SO fun 😭 my least favorite was probably "the broken hours" it put me in a MASSIVE slump, like i was reading that book and no other books for MONTHS. i rated it one star, i hated it 🥸🔪
The Atlas Six is contemporary fantasy or what is sometimes called urban fantasy. Magical Realism is more like 100 Years of Solitude or Her Body And Other Parties 😊
I finally started reading COHO this year and absolutely fell in love with It Ends with us. ( I know, late to the party) That was tied with AGGGTM series. My least favorite was Malibu Rising. Hated it.
can you please make a video with recommendations for different age groups/spice levels? i am a young reader and there are some books i want to read but i can't find anything online about the age rating and i don't wanna accidentally start reading a book that is too mature if you know what i mean lmao
Idk why but I like it happened one summer more than hook line and sinker and maybe I’m in a slump but it’s been difficult for me to get thru a court of thorn and roses right now
Tbh I don’t know if I had a least favorite book. But my favorite book I read this year was a tie between radio silence by Alice Oseman and Layla by Colleen Hoover.
hi i love your videos! i am reading a series called “London Prep” by Jillian Dodd and let me tell you it’s the best set of books i’ve ever read. there’s lots of romance a love triangle and suspense and it’s just perfect. so if your ever looking for a new book definitely try reading this series, you won’t regret it! love you!
i also DNF'd the night circus. i agree with what you said, in the beginning it was amazing, and then i kept waiting for thinsgs to happen and nothing happened. i couldnt care anymore.
I finished a good girl's guide to murder around 1-1:30 am (January 4 and I finished the book in 7 days) and I was left speechless. I don't know what to say about it. If I could I would rate it a 10/10 on goodreads.
My favorites were Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez, Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover, and the Crescent City Series by Sarah J Maas! Sadly my least favorite was Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score - I absolutely loved the cover of the book and had high hopes but ultimately it just seemed too far fetched for me and I didn’t care for the main characters 😬.
The song of Achilles was a 5 star, so was heartstopper vol 3 and a good girls guide to murder. I liked the love hypothesis too but it’s like 4th. This is the longest rant about a book I’ve ever done in a single comment lmao (Spoiler free of course! ⬇️) I dnf the Paris apartment by Lucy foley. Oh my actual god this book. I completely understand why someone would like it because it has a lot of POVs and the setting is so so cool, the plot sounds interesting but WOW the plot just did not kick off at all in this book like I read probably 40% of it and nothing happened. Also there was this super cool secret staircase but the main character only ever goes to it once (as far as I read and looking at other bad reviews) and never goes to it again. AND THE AUTHOR OK SHE WILL WRite French words in the middle of sentences and at tge beginning they were being translated but then she just stopped of *VERY FEW TIMES* translating them. I’m Canadian ok, I know some basic French but I speak Canada French which is very different from France French so google translate had to ruin the mood by stopping me reading. And sure, I could have ignored what the French line was but if you put it in the book I want to know what you’re talking about. I can’t give it a 0 Because when publishing a book you need the bare minimum. So considering all of these things I rated the Paris apartment a 0.1/5 🧍🏻
THE THIRD TSITP is so annoying!! i just finished like a few days ago & it’s so annoying. i didn’t just read 3 whole books for thr happy ending to be “a few years later”
My fav books I read this year were: the caracal series (just bought the last book), six of crows and as a genre I recently just got into : better than the movies by Lynn painter. least fav I think we always have summer I love the series I love the first two books but I was on someone's team the first two books and in the serie and with what he did in book 3 I didn't like him I agree on what you said about it wasn't him.
i loved the inheritance games! the third one however kind of ruined the story for me. i felt like the addition of one of the characters was so unnecessary. overall though, it was a five star series for me!!:)
My favorite book of the year was reminders of him by Colleen hoover My least favorite book of the year was the song of Achilles… I’m so sorry! I gave it a 1 star. It as my only 1 star rating this year I listened to the audiobook of this one and like you said with the Thursday murder club, I couldn’t remember what was being said. It was just to boring for me and really hard to focus But I’m glad you liked it!
I Read the spanish love deception and i really like the book but i think that Is not a real enemeis to lover becsuse he Is clearly in love whit her by the frist Page
Please read A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini or at least check it out. It’s heartbreaking but beautifully written and I guarantee it will stay with you - this book is one of my favourites and I feel a must read for book lovers. Please check it out! Also I love your videos so much xxx
I’m the same way with TSITP. The third book was so bad for me like I HATED reading it. The epilogue was SOOOO short and for what (???) and Belly really annoyed me HAHA. The first book, good. The second book, kinda didn’t need it, but it was okay. Third book, trash. Lol.
"The Atlas six"? so much hype about nothing. The emptiest book i've read - boring, dry and not interesting at all. Why do people on youtube keep on recommending it? Because of the hype? the ads are paid? Or it's your real choice? then i am out of here, sorry.
Telling your audience that a book has a plot twist, especially when it’s a genre that isn’t known for plot twists, is kind of a spoiler. You’re not allowing those who want to read that novel be surprised by having them discover for themselves that there is a plot twist. I’m not trying to be mean, I just don’t like people creating expectations for me by telling me stuff like that❤️
Favorite book so far this year, “if he had been with me” by Laura Nowlin💔 (I posted an aesthetic video on my youtube page) after reading I reached out to the author and she was so sweet, 100% recommended this book❤ and i related to almost every. Thing. In. the. book. which made it just that much better for me, also has short chapters and is a pretty easy read❤️🔥SO. GOOD. I recommend this to anyone with a heartbeat, because this book will stop it🥲
A good girls guide to murder deserves all the hype it got, the third one was my favorite
Same, most people like the first one the best but in my opinion the third one is the best
I hated the third one. The second one's my favorite 💕
@@anreadz i’m interested to know why you hated the third one, for me it had the most gripping plot line that the others lacked
I read the first 2 books over a year ago but the third book I never clicked with .
@@anreadz same ! The 3rd one ruined it for me.
ur uploads literally make my day. your consistent happy vibe always makes me feel better if i’m having a bad day. thank you for being a comfort booktuber. ❤️

I absolutely adore The Wicked Deep and Shea Ernshaw's writing! Defintely reccommend Winterwood if you want to read more by her
my fav book this year was definitely "better than the movies"! i absolutely fell in love with wes's character, and the childhood frenemies to lovers was SO fun 😭 my least favorite was probably "the broken hours" it put me in a MASSIVE slump, like i was reading that book and no other books for MONTHS. i rated it one star, i hated it 🥸🔪

ahhh its HIGH on my tbr. Hopefully I will read it in january. it sounds SO good
I’ve been WAITING for this vid!! ❤
Touch of Darkness is my favorite series. But it is moderate spice at most. Maybe high spice if someone only reads YA romance.
The Atlas Six is contemporary fantasy or what is sometimes called urban fantasy. Magical Realism is more like 100 Years of Solitude or Her Body And Other Parties 😊
love hypothesis and colleen hoover on the best and then Pride and Prejudice on the worst 😭 good lord
Circe was not for me, but I think I should try Song of Achilles because of so many great things I hear about it!
I finally started reading COHO this year and absolutely fell in love with It Ends with us. ( I know, late to the party)
That was tied with AGGGTM series.
Idk why but I like it happened one summer more than hook line and sinker and maybe I’m in a slump but it’s been difficult for me to get thru a court of thorn and roses right now
i highly recommend the sequel to hopeless, it’s the same story but from deans POV!!
How do you find the book aestheticcs in Pinterest ?
Tbh I don’t know if I had a least favorite book. But my favorite book I read this year was a tie between radio silence by Alice Oseman and Layla by Colleen Hoover.
radio silence is definitely one of my favs! so so beautiful 😭💞
you need to read From Lukov, with love!
hi i love your videos! i am reading a series called “London Prep” by Jillian Dodd and let me tell you it’s the best set of books i’ve ever read. there’s lots of romance a love triangle and suspense and it’s just perfect. so if your ever looking for a new book definitely try reading this series, you won’t regret it! love you!

Have you ever read Jenny Hans 'To all the boy I've loved before' series! I would 100% give it a go Ali!
I finished a good girl's guide to murder around 1-1:30 am (January 4 and I finished the book in 7 days) and I was left speechless. I don't know what to say about it. If I could I would rate it a 10/10 on goodreads.

Sadly my least favorite was Things We Never Got Over by Lucy Score - I absolutely loved the cover of the book and had high hopes but ultimately it just seemed too far fetched for me and I didn’t care for the main characters 😬.
TWNGO was horrible 😂

The fact that my google picked up ”what is the day today?” was hilarious 😂
hahaha mine kept picking it up too while I was editing this video lol
My fav book of the year was definitely AGGGTM, and my least fav would probs be caraval

some time ago i finished gggtm and it was so cool but booktok spoiled me ending of the series without spoiler warning so at this point i hate booktok.
My favorite book of the year was reminders of him by Colleen hoover

I Read the spanish love deception and i really like the book but i think that Is not a real enemeis to lover becsuse he Is clearly in love whit her by the frist Page
pride and prejudice 🥲
finally another person who also didn't like pride and prejudice 😭 I tried many times to read it but I just couldn't do it
I also read The Night Circus on audio and I literally fell asleep. That book is a snooze fest
