I'm thinking about making a part 2 to this video the last week of December where I actually see if I hit my reading goal. Let me know if that's something you guys want to see or if you'd rather have a new unique video idea for that week! I want to make what you guys want to see :)
Hi Alli, I suffer really bad anxiety and you dont know how much your videos help me disconnect a little bit. Thank you so much❤❤btw you could do a video about not stop walking until you finish an audiobook hahah what do you think?🤪😍😍
Ok, hear me out… my goal was 366 books (cause leap year) BUT, i do a lot of audiobooks at work, rereading a childhood favorite series, and keep track of all novellas and bonus content as separate books. I’m currently at 374 books according to Goodreads
Shoutout to Luca for putting in overtime at the biscuit factory in that clip of you guys reading together 🤣🤣 (I’m a cat mom too) love this video! Fun concept too, makes me want to try achieving my reading goal but I’m 15 books behind sooooo 😬
I don’t do goals anymore because I got soo burnt out last year after reading more than I ever have in one year (95 books) so my goal was actually to read less this year so I don’t get burnt out, so far it hasn’t worked though😂 I do read a lot of short books though which helps to switch things up Love the video!
100% agree about Yours Truly… I was so obsessed in the first half and then the second half with all the miscommunication was just so frustrating to me! But then I loved the ending, so I landed between 3.75 and 4 stars overall. I hope you meet your reading goal, I believe in you! 😂❤️
I felt you so hard on falling further behind 😅 I’m 3 books behind and so I was like okay lemme read a small one to help catch up and I put it in and boom still 3 books behind 🤣
I’m so excited to get my cat bookmark in the mail from your mom’s shop!!! She was so sweet and willing to make a black cat one, in memory of my furry best friend I had to say goodbye to last year 🥹
There's nothing more satisfying than finishing 2 books in a day 🫶 Jennifer Lynn Barnes is my favourite author, no one writes quite like her!! Book 4 in the Naturals is devastating, I also recommend reading the novella Twelve! And when you are done with the series, every other one by her is literally as good, I love the Fixer duology 😍
I'm a very slow reader, and at the beginning of the year, I wasn't in my 'reader era,' so I just set a goal of 12 books, one for every month, I am currently reading book number 21 of the year lmao
This is my first year with a reading goal (started reading oct 23) I set it on 52 and I have read 65 till now ❤🎉 now I need to figure out what goal I should pick for next year 😅 love your content ❤ grtz from the Netherlands
I laughed when you said the Yours Truly couple should JUST TALK. I was saying the same thing when I finished it today. The audiobooks by that author are amazing too. She uses the same narrators in books 2 and 3 that I read. Swooning over the main characters Justin and Jacob.
The naturals also have a novella called Twelve! I really liked it and recommend it!! It follows the 12 year old girl that Cassie and the gang all saved when she was kidnapped early on in the series
I hope you reach your reading goal for the year. Mine is 100 and I am at 95 and I am 5 books ahead of my goal at this point. I have never read 100 books in a year before so I will be well-chuffed if I do manage to get there ☺
I had the same issue with Yours Truly. Imo the books in the Part of Your World Series just get better and better! Just for the Summer is my 5 star top read of the year!
I personally put my reading goal as 12 because it's one book for each month, but I always surpass it. I roughly read 70 to +100 books each year, but putting 12 as my goal makes me feel less pressured, and it promotes healthy reading habits rather than making it a competition.
I'm not behind on my goals, but I am trying to get a bit ahead, so I don't 'have to' read as much during the holiday season. Of course, I don't *have to* read anyway, but you knooow. I've also for the first time ever curated a reading list for December. I'm a big mood reader, but I just so happened to get a couple of books that are perfect December reads, so I decided to make a reading list for December this time. No guarantee I'll actually read those books, but still, a good motivator, takes away the choice paralysis.
My reading goal is 36 books so 3 a month. I’m 3 books behind right now at 29 books but between physical books and audiobooks I’ll reach my goal, I’m determined!
My reading goal this year started as 25 books (because last year I only ready 14) but now it’s up to 50 and I reached it this month😇🙏🏻 Also I agree 100% with your thoughts about Yours Truly!
so i have the black and gold tote bag and when I was using it, mom put velcro in it. I want to go to the local book store and get a banned books tote bag. I LOVE TOM´S Book! it was my first audio book of this year. Also Alan died of cancer back in 2016. Actually I am on track but i bought 2 books this weekend...I tried to start one, but im in the middle of 2 books already
I'd love to know how many physical books RUclipsr bookish people read as I normally read about 45/50 a year and I'm really hard on myself but I see a lot of audiobooks so maybe I'm not that far off a usual reading goal. I am dyslexic so I do read slower but dislike audiobooks as feel like I'm cheating and never get into them 😂 Loved this 💕
yes I do!! I always thought I'd be an exclusively physical book girl but I've been loving the kindle & using it way more than I thought!! Very excited to own my first ereader
I don't try to reach a certain amount of books. My goal is simply to read more than the year before because the past few years I read less and less. I used to read 30+ books a year and in 2022 it was only 13. Last year it was 14. And this year I am already at 18. So I've reached my goal already.
I'm thinking about making a part 2 to this video the last week of December where I actually see if I hit my reading goal. Let me know if that's something you guys want to see or if you'd rather have a new unique video idea for that week! I want to make what you guys want to see :)
I'd love to see a second part ❤
Yessss!!! I would love to watch that!
Definitely!!!
I would absolutely love that!!
omg yeees 🎉🎉🎉
My reading goal was 24 and then I bumped it up to 48 and I'm currently at 57 books read for the year!

2 things that helped me and literally changed my life
1. I stopped watching porn
2. I read the book called 'Genius Hidden Tricks'
3. Stop drinking
Hi Alli, I suffer really bad anxiety and you dont know how much your videos help me disconnect a little bit. Thank you so much❤❤btw you could do a video about not stop walking until you finish an audiobook hahah what do you think?🤪😍😍
Ooo wait thats such a fun idea! That would be really fun to incorporate into a youtube video✍🏻.
And thank you for your kind words❤️
I recommend everyone to find the forbidden book titled The Comic Guide to Financial Bombs, It changed my life.
Ok, hear me out… my goal was 366 books (cause leap year) BUT, i do a lot of audiobooks at work, rereading a childhood favorite series, and keep track of all novellas and bonus content as separate books. I’m currently at 374 books according to Goodreads
Wow that’s unbelievable! Congratulations.
I'm genuinely wondering, how do you manage to read so much ? That's so cool and impressive 😮
Shoutout to Luca for putting in overtime at the biscuit factory in that clip of you guys reading together 🤣🤣 (I’m a cat mom too) love this video! Fun concept too, makes me want to try achieving my reading goal but I’m 15 books behind sooooo 😬

My reading goal is 100. I’m at 90 now. I started reading again last February. I was in a reading slump for years…..
AHH you're spoiling us with the reading vlogs. Wishing you all the best while I enjoy your video!
100% agree about Yours Truly… I was so obsessed in the first half and then the second half with all the miscommunication was just so frustrating to me! But then I loved the ending, so I landed between 3.75 and 4 stars overall. I hope you meet your reading goal, I believe in you! 😂❤️

I’m so excited to get my cat bookmark in the mail from your mom’s shop!!! She was so sweet and willing to make a black cat one, in memory of my furry best friend I had to say goodbye to last year 🥹
I also adore your content it makes me so happy and encourages me to read. I especially love the TBR game you play and the 24hr readathons
My goal was 50 books and I didn't even think that was possible but I've read 59! So exciting!
Yours truly is my favorite abby Jimenez book, I highlighted so many quotes throughout it! 💞
Ali posted! Todays a great day
There's nothing more satisfying than finishing 2 books in a day 🫶 Jennifer Lynn Barnes is my favourite author, no one writes quite like her!! Book 4 in the Naturals is devastating, I also recommend reading the novella Twelve! And when you are done with the series, every other one by her is literally as good, I love the Fixer duology 😍
OMG I relate to your review of your truly because I started out loving it and the miscommunication was really irritating me but it did get better❤
My reading goal was 100 books and I've read 112 so far 🎉🎉
My reading goal was 60 books, I’ve currently read 78 and I’m in the middle of 2 :) might aim for 85 by the end of the year
I'm a very slow reader, and at the beginning of the year, I wasn't in my 'reader era,' so I just set a goal of 12 books, one for every month, I am currently reading book number 21 of the year lmao
I have to say, I don’t make goals, I just read, no stress.
Another great memoir is "In the Country We Love" by Diane Guerrero! Btw I LOVE your channel!!!!
You literally reading The Dare, which is on my library hold list is so funy. I can't wait to read it!
The naturals is one of my favorite series!!
This is my first year with a reading goal (started reading oct 23) I set it on 52 and I have read 65 till now ❤🎉 now I need to figure out what goal I should pick for next year 😅 love your content ❤ grtz from the Netherlands
You convinced me to start reading the naturals series. I’ve read the inheritance games and absolutely loved them!!
Yahhhhhhhj❤❤❤❤❤ I'm so excited!!!!!!
I’m so glad you read yours truly. I have not read many of her books but it’s my favorite so far and my favorite of the series too.
I laughed when you said the Yours Truly couple should JUST TALK. I was saying the same thing when I finished it today. The audiobooks by that author are amazing too. She uses the same narrators in books 2 and 3 that I read. Swooning over the main characters Justin and Jacob.

IM OBSESSED! It was soooooo good
My favourite of the series! I love Sloane!
Yesss I love the naturals series so much and All in was my favorite too because WOW was it crazy
90 books in a year is certainly a lot. I've gotten maybe 40-50 so far, but that's the best I've ever done.
Thats a lot! Thats awesome
@JustAli it's a lot for me. I only got 15 last year, so I've more than doubled that this year. I wonder how much I'll get next year.
Oooo your mom’s Etsy is so cute!!

I passed my goal twice this year. First it was 30, then I changed it to 50. Im now 52. Im really proud of myself😊
I personally put my reading goal as 12 because it's one book for each month, but I always surpass it. I roughly read 70 to +100 books each year, but putting 12 as my goal makes me feel less pressured, and it promotes healthy reading habits rather than making it a competition.

I’ve been binging your videos lately! I love how relaxing your videos are 😊 I LOVED Yours Truly surprisingly because I didn’t love Part Of Your World.
I saw a few special editions and sprayed edges editions at BAM recently too
I'm only going to read about 25/26 books this year which has been the lowest amount of books but I'm trying to be kind to myself about it
Omg, same ❤ But I've read somewhere that you are considered a big reader when you read 20 books or more a year. It made me feel better 😅
@super-lena7171 aww that made me feel better too, thank u
My reading goal is 36 books so 3 a month. I’m 3 books behind right now at 29 books but between physical books and audiobooks I’ll reach my goal, I’m determined!

Wowww, that copy of Dracula at Barnes! Gorgeous. I need to get myself a copy of it, I hope it's available in the UK? xx
