This is the EASIEST tutorial I have ever seen... I've been trying to find out how to add my own patterns to my Library for weeks. Thank you so much for the super easy explanation!!
How are you spinning the star to change the shape? I have watched the video over and over and still can’t figure out what you are doing to change the image
OMGoodness! Thank you so so so much!!! Hip Hip Hooray! It worked! Very informative video! Hugs! Had to pick up one of the grandkids from preschool! (or I would have watched it sooner).
Hello and Happy New Year! This was sooo helpful, thank you! I’m still trying to figure out something though, and I’m hoping you can help me? I make earrings that I cut on my Glowforge, and have a teardrop template I use a lot. When I import the earring template into SS (I have business edition) and fill the shapes with a pattern, it looks great, but then when I save the file and go to cut and engrave on my Glowforge, the whole pattern is behind the earrings (the entire thing, not the part I selected) in the shape of a rectangle, completely outside the shapes of the earrings. I know this probably makes no sense, it’s kind of hard to describe… but I feel like there’s something I’m not doing right.. like there needs to be some kind of “cookie cutter” process that will allow me to “cut” teardrop shapes out of the patterns before I export them. Any advice or info will be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!
Hi patty with those eps files I believe you can still download it you just need to right click it and copy and paste unto the folder instead of dragging it. At least That's what mine let's me do.
Thank you for the very informative video. Do you have any videos on how to fill doodle letters with color and with patterns? I just now recently joined your groups waiting for approval 😊
@@PattyAnnesPlace I was trying to find out what Font people use to do the Doodle letters, they have strips, polkadots, would like to learn how to make the design on the letters & then be able to change the colors on them something like this.

SWEET!! Glad to help!
Thank you so much. I have so many background patterns I wanted to add to silhouette.
Excellent start to finish. Thank you. Wishing you a super week. Hugs Susan
Thanks Susan!!!

I have a MacBook and my patterns aren’t showing up in the fill palette on the design page. Is there something I’m doing wrong?

YAY!!!
Can I do this with any pattern on my computer or does it need to be a download file

Did you make another video showing how to take out the seams ?
Does it work the same if you want to fill alphabet letters?
When I eventually manage to get a pattern into the library, it shows as a blank square, not the image I've imported. Any ideas please?
This was so helpful! Thanks soooo much.
Great! Thanks Brenda!
I think you can drag it directly into the pattern folder
Awesome Video!

my import to library is grayed out, why?

Hi Angie. I am not sure what you mean by doodle letters. Can you tell me more or name a font that you'd like to fill?

I tried doing this with a JPG file and it won’t move to my pattern folder - any advice?
Dakota Wilbur bring it in to Silhouette and then save it as a jpeg and try it that way.
How do I use the pattern as the color of my text?
You have to place the pattern over the letter and crop
Can you do that for cricut?
You could save it as a print then cut for Cricut. Also, you CAN save patterns in Design Space.
