😊 I have some Strathmore blank watercolour cards too and though they are lovely they are not so good to paint on. Good idea to paint on the better paper then glue it on.

When I first started watercolor I was told erasing on the watercolor paper destroyed the papers surface, was that a false statement? I’ve always been very careful erasing because I was told that
If you erase too hard or just have an abrasive eraser, it could definitely damage the paper. I highly suggest a kneaded eraser, they are wonderful!
