- 🇺🇸 How can we POSSIBLY describe Seattle food?
Coming off the back of another food tour in Portland, we had similar expectations and were very quickly blown away! we walked through the Pike Place Market, tried Beecher's cheese, and even had coffee from the first-ever Starbucks! But the best thing was the crazy Seattle invention, the Seattle Dog. Join us as we run the streets trying all the famous and best Seattle food and finishing with some burgers from a 50's drive in.

Best seatle food
Seattle is the current leader for best food in North America, heading to Vancouver next though 👀Any recommendations?
Vancouver is an amazing foodie city! 🙏🏽
@@marcusgrimes818 we just had our Vancouver food day and you are not wrong haha video coming soon!
Sitka Alaska is the rainiest city in the US.
Moby Dick's fish and chips in White Rock, BC. Everything including the location, atmosphere, and food, was perfect.
The vibes in this Seattle video were so lively and vibrant🌇! I loved the hustle and bustle of the streets and the way you were able to capture it all. Like and support from GOA.
Thanks so much 😊 it was such a fun city to explore!
Thanks guys, we will be there next week and you have just given us plenty of food places to check out. Enjoy your travels 😊
Amazing! How long are you going for?
We had a great time in Seattle - hopefully you will too ❤️
@JordanandEmily We will be there for 4 days. I've been before but my partner hasn't. We both love Grunge music so we we will be checking out a lot of the historical Grunge locations. Safe travels and keep up the great videos 😊
Oh and we will be in Vancouver before Seattle so looking forward to your vlog about that 😀
Have fun! Great video
Thanks Suay! 😊
I've been binging (in reality, still back in Rotterdam), but jumped ahead. Great food video! Now I'm going to have to check out Portland video before going back in time.
Wow thanks so much for watching 😊 we are still learning how to make videos now and we're very new to it all back then so go easy on us 😄
Thanks again!
love love love this vid. you guys need more views!!!
Thank you so much! 😊 we're going to keep working and hopefully we can get the views up!
Great video guys! We're really enjoying your USA series so far and looking forward to seeing where you go ☺️
Thanks so much 😊 it's been a crazy whirlwind and it's about time get a bit more hectic 😄 hows Japan!?
Just watched your Seattle to Vancouver vlog! We've heard its similar to Melbourne so definitely keen to check it out one day ☺️ Japan is awesome, its absolutely mental being peak cherry blossom season and borders having opened not too long ago but still such a fantastic country to visit 👌🏽
These shops are tons of fun. 4:30
😄 the whole city is!
Thanks for the tips, I'm going in January for the first time. A solo trip to unwind and plus I enjoy the cold weather very much.
Sounds like it's going to be a good trip! Have fun! 😊
FOOOOOOOOD! This is why I love Seattle so much.
Right!? Definitely would move there for the food 😄
Great video. Thanks for timing the wait for Starbucks. We will be visiting soon. Did it feel pretty safe there?
we did! we don't really go out at night or anything like that though 😅
We were staying in Capitol Hill and felt safe there as well!
Wow, great food review of your time in Seattle Washington. The Mac and cheese looked very interesting and the noodles were different looking than the regular. Those noodles looked more like noodles for Mastaccioli. After seeing you traveling so much in Europe it is so strange to see you in the USA. I like how you investigate each place you travel to and find places that stand out for you to try and enjoy. As you travel around do people ever recognize you for being on RUclips? It would be so interesting to travel to a different country and to be recognized for all your hard work to film, narrate and edit each video.
Thank you so much! We really liked the food in seattle and I think that really showed through haha we've never been recognised, because usually the videos start doing well a while after we've left a place and we don't hang around long enough for it! Haha hopefully one day though, if we can keep this channel growing! 😀
Great video!
Thank youuu! 😊 glad you liked it!
I love America, America is a great nation. I got to learn about the history of America in school when I was kid. American Baptist missionaries came to India during British colonial rule and they contributed a lot for the society of India. They established missionary schools and hospitals in remote areas of India. I also have a dream to go to America one day.
Thats so great! You should absolutely try to get here, it's a great place!

The food looks amazing! I concede that Starbucks does shine with their iced coffees / drinks.
It’s always solid too! Like cafes can be so hit and miss with how their coffee is but for better or worse you always know what Starbucks is going to be like 😅
Blasphemy, Seattle food better than Portland? Haha just kidding. Glad you had a good time, fun video. If you ever return to Portland go to amazing Blue Star doughnuts, not Voodoo! 😊
🤣 we did have a great time in Seattle!
Oooh is that the more local place rather than voodoo?
@@JordanandEmily They're both local but Voodoo is kinda the tourist trap because it's weird... Blue Star is just awesome. And check out 'Proud Mary', if you're homesick, actually an Australian brunch spot i just discovered that's amazing. Ok I'm done defending portland now, haha.
I just started watching your channel and have visited many of the countries you visited. But out of everywhere in the world I've ever eaten, my favorite sandwich in the world is the "Caribbean Roast Sandwich" at "Un Bien". So if you ever come back to Seattle, check it out!
oh amazing!! Thank you so much for the recommendation - we just started keeping a list of all the commented recommendations we get because they normally end up being the best ones ❤️
Also, the original Seattle dog had a bagel bun with poppy seeds (hence the cream cheese)
I'd be in for that!
🔥😋
❤️❤️
Yes, Seattle is fascinating. I just don't like the marine climate. I lived for a while in the redwood region of California, and it was the same thing. I live in St. Louis now. It's a lot different and most people would see it negatively-----but the weather constantly changes, and I think that's what I like about it most. I'll be visiting Seattle again in June though. Maybe I will see some sun. You guys found a good deal on the salmon bagels. I'll look for that next time I'm there.
They were delicious as well! Hopefully you find them when you visit.
After travelling through winter/autumn climates we can see the allure of having weather changes throughout the year! It gets cold in Australia but we don't have the huge differences between seasons that other parts of the world does
Waterfront always with alot Tourists
So many! 😄
Dick's is great, but I would eat it fresh at the store. It doesn't do well even a little cold. Local secret is to dip your fries in a milk shake.
Oooooo fries in the milkshake sounds like a game changer!!!!
A guten Appetit
Gum alley, yuk!!!!
It's pretty strange 😄
it's called t
T?
I wish tourists would just steer away from Pike place in EVERY single tour video. Yeah, it's okay but Seattle has a VAST range of foods.
Pho
Indian food
Korean bbq
Hawaiian
Greek
Polish
Go to Capitol Hill, International District, Fremont, University District, Northgate, Vashon Island, West Seattle, Seatac.
Also. every single local who were born and raised here will tell you to avoid Starbucks and go to a local coffee shop. Starbucks is overpriced trash.
Go to other neighborhoods to get cheap eats and experience better, local grub.
Wish we knew all this before we got there 😄 everything online tells us to go to the market!
So weird to see people excited about Seattle or USA, in general.
Really!? We loved it, just a bit expensive 😄
Sorry, Seattle isn’t the rainiest city in the United States.
Lol whoops! Do you know where is?
Amazing video as always! My wife and I DM’d you on insta if you plan on coming to LA!
Thanks so much! Oohhh we must have missed that! - we might be heading to LA in November this year though!
