    You're making us miss Canada already, Granville Island is some of our earliest memories of Canada. So hard to go past a good poutine, especially when it's cold out. The iced cap from Timmies is definitely a popular cold drink but arguably the most popular hot beverage would be a "double double" which is a brewed coffee with 2 cream and 2 sugars. Thanks for the video!

      @JordanandEmily  Год назад

      We have heard so many people order the double double, we'll need to give it a go before we leave 😄 thanks for watching! 😊

    Hi Jordan and Emily, that Butter Tart looked really interesting. It looked very similar to Pecan Pie without the Pecans on top. After watching the videos so far on Vancouver it makes me really want to visit there. The Poutine definitely looked like comfort food to warm you up on a cold day. I have always heard how beautiful Vancouver Island is and your videos do a nice job of showing the true beauty. I understand from the vloggers David and Sarah that you know them and when they lived in Canada they went to Tim Hortons very often. I guess they are so popular because of the great products and drinks they sell. Looking forward to your next video documenting your travel experiences and mouth watering foods.

      Hey Ben. I don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but Vancouver (the city) is not on Vancouver Island (confusing, I know). Vancouver sits at the Southwest corner of mainland British Columbia. You can catch a 2 hour ferry from Vancouver to Vancouver Island. At the southernmost point of Vancouver Island is the city of Victoria, BC. "Victoria" is actually the capitol of British Columbia.... and quite lovely.

    I feel like one mistake people make while visiting Canada is trying to fit a bunch of quintessential "Canadian" foods in to one video. Finding a proper Montreal bagel in Vancouver, or finding a real Halifax donair in Saskatoon is going to be pretty hard! It would be like ordering a Chicago style pizza in Kansas. It may exist, but it's never going to be quite right! I do commend you for trying though! 😂
    Typically cheese curds don't really melt much, so I'm not sure how authentic the one you tried was. I hope you were able to try it again!
    Either way, good job, guys! We're now havin' a lil' binge of your videos now. You guys deserve so much more than 18K!

    Ice caps are best in the summer, when it's hot out. Sometimes butter tarts have raisins in them, but sometimes they have pecans, or walnuts. The one food Vancouver is probably best known for is sushi, specifically the California roll, which was invented there. Maple syrup is more of an Eastern Canadian thing, specifically Quebec, which produces 70% of the world's supply of maple syrup.

      @@JordanandEmily Also, I've never done that mountain hike in Quamish, but my cousin lives there and she's a real outdoorsy type. My brother visited her a few years ago and she took him on the same hike you guys did. She was fine because she was used to it. But, it almost killed my bro, and he's actually in pretty decent condition.

    Love Canada, hope your going to Victoria, very pretty city as well. I have to say I am not a fan of poutine. Yes if I was younger I would def want to live in Canada so much to see and do, we met lots of young Aussies working and living there around Banff. Yep I find that there food over there is to sweet for me. We did tryBeaver tail in Banff as well. Happy travels, loving your Canada travels.

    "Hello" from Prince Edward Island, Canada. I haven't had time to read all the comments, so excuse me if you've already heard this, but a Montreal Bagel is a very specific thing, and never (?) served with Montreal smoked meat, which is also a very specific thing. whoever told you it wasn't was wrong. Much like getting Donairs in Halifax, Montreal smoked meat is best enjoyed in Montreal. Other cities do it, but somehow ..... not as well.

    • @JordanandEmily
      @JordanandEmily  Год назад +1
