Hahaha, don't worry. Lots of visitors (and even some locals) attempt to cycle the Seawall in the wrong (clockwise) direction. Most abort pretty quickly, if not due to the signage telling them they're going the wrong way, then certainly for the death stares from other cyclists and other passive aggressive acts of Vancouverite kindness. 🤪I'm glad you had an enjoyable trip regardless! Your Rockies videos are absolutely amazing!
i live in seattle and im so happy you enjoyed our city. to me, vancouver is amazing, you need to go out to the neighborhoods surrounding downtown and you will see how great of a city it is. safe travels!
We just went back through Vancouver to pick up a campervan (the videos are kind of delayed) and we saw some of the suburbs! It was raining but everything looked so.. liveable 😄 hard to describe.. good vibes I guess?
Wow, fantastic video of Vancouver BC. Really enjoyed the wildlife and animal footage. Can tell your love of dogs by the cute dog footage. That Golden Doodle was really beautiful with the Brown Curly coat. The squirrels were very unusual with their dark Brown coat. Squirrel in German is Eichhornchen. That would be very hard to pronounce. So glad that you captured the footage of the Steam Clock, very unusual and fascinating to see. Have to admit that Vancouver is really beautiful with the mountains, water and all the scenic beauty. The architecture and buildings are beautiful, but it is hard to beat the Older Architecture of Europe. Having this channel is such a great way to document your travels together and having them to look back on along your lives journey. Consider getting some gauze to wrap your blisters so it is easier to walk. Best wishes Jordan and Emily as you continue your travel and exploration.
Thanks so much 😊 we are definitely animal lovers thats for sure! Vancouver is become one of our favourite cities with all its mountains and pedestrian paths, it's fantastic! Having the memories is exactly why we started this channel! Thanks so much for your continued support! 😊
I just found your channel as I’m going to Vancouver next week! I absolutely love your videos so enjoyable to watch can’t wait to binge watch them all 😊
Great video guys. We just walked 12km to Stanley Park and then uber to Gastown today...in the pouring rain all day haha. We leave for Seattle tomorrow but have absolutely loved our time in Vancouver. Travel safe! 😊
Haha oh nooo! Rain can be such a bummer! Have a great time in seattle, we were there not long ago and ran around eating some awesome foods. Make sure you get beechers mac and cheese near the pike place market!
You sure had a great day exploring Vancouver. Jordan wasn't very impressed with his lemon chicken, did he say he'd have preferred a beigel? Interesting that they've got trolley buses there, I never knew that. I googled Gassy Jack, yes indeed not a good dude for what he did.
After 25 years of living here, I would say it's overrated. Sure, the magnificent natural setting and glistening glass towers obscure the reality. Vancouver is one of the most expensive cities to live in in the world. I rent a 411 sq foot shoebox for over $2000 a month, that's basically 50% of my salary. The cost of living here has gone berserk. Real estate is unreachable for most residents, except foreignerns, those who invested over a decade ago, or the uber rich. Oh, and those who are laundering dirty drug money from fentanyl precursors made in China, made into deadly drugs in underground labs in Vancouver, washed through underground casinos in Richmond, and poured into real estate here. The drug problem here is crazy, people are shooting up in broad daylight, in the so called "prime areas" of the city. The health care system is failing, it's impossible to find a family doctor, wait times are horrendous. Of course, this is a Canada wide problem. Vancouver is also famous for its social isolation aspect - making friends, dating, etc., are really difficult. Someone once said that Vancouver is like a beautiful woman with no soul. Seems apt. I will actually be leaving for Europe in two months. I've loved this city for a long time, but it's become a very one-sided, nearly toxic relationship. Also, looks like Bansko will be my first destination!
On behalf of my fellow Canucks, I apologize whatever extortionate rate you had to pay for mobile service in this country. I am Canadian after all, so I need to say sorry for something!
@@JordanandEmily I assure you the US is not more expensive when it comes to mobile phone plans! On your Aussie dollar you may find the US more expensive due to the exchange rate, but generally things in the US *are* cheaper than here. Canada has much higher tax rates due to this thing called socialism that Americans are allergic to! 😄
Surely we're not the only ones that got confused on the bikes in Stanley park!?

Lucky you are getting out! Bansko In Bulgaria!? It's bbeeauuutiful, we did a little hike there last year! A really magical place!

😅 it honestly wasn't that bad considering how much data we got and.. America is more expensive 🫠

If you're Canadian, why do you call it mobile service? In Canada, we call them cell phones. Don't we? Lol
LOL Vancouver is overrated. I am from Canada.
😄 really? We loved it! What part of Canada are you from?
