I GOT THE SAME CHILLS. Dynasty Warriors 3, 4, 5 and 7 to me have the best soundtracks in the series. But 3 and 4 are SUPER SPECIAL to me!!!! I love love love love the themes from those games. DW5 isn't a slouch either!!!!
@@Kenoji8 3 is the most nostalgic to me, 4 was definitely a change if pace adding duels during the musou campaign, but 5 to me hit the G spot of dopamine.

Yeah because of the mess they made with DW9, I'm honestly skeptical..
It looks great for now.. But we need more in depth info on the battle mechanics, the AI, the characters, and the weapons..

Each weapon will have a different feel AI will be agressive but won't hinder you or stun you because of their big numbers their aggressiveness will depend on morale. The characters will be focused on the beginning eras so we won't be seeing future generations i feel. As for who you get to control its always the MC not all characters will be playable, ( I think ) but whoever accompanied you will be playable to switch too so its stage dependent like SW5 and DW8

I've been saying for many many many years that DW would benefit from toning down *some* of its anime aesthetic aspects, and I was absolutely right. A slightly more sober color palette, and a more "Chinese Dark Souls" vibe to the character design go a long way in making the game look so much better
THIS. THIS IS IT! This is the upgrade and quality we needed!!! So this is what they meant by more realistic war: your soldiers make it more alive and have an actual impact, the close-up camera (GoW/DS style) when you're fighting an officer or how it looks closer than usual when fighting scrubs while maintaining the Musou spirit and finally, that rally before charging the fort. This might be the best DW after all
Not to mention story too~ even though it may not be historically accurate on what happened between the officers but it’s great that we can see deeper connections between officers in cutscenes
@@XLGFireXyeah! And they get rid of the boring dialogue presentation too. No more character model just standing around or simple portrait. This feel way more natural
I think it'll be so refreshing to see a potentially new take on the story. I love the stories of the old games but when it's the same story every time you can only go so far with it. If this story is different then what were accustomed to it'll be really exciting.
It also shows that while you can handle a number of enemies, you can still got overwhelmed if you got surround by them. So you're recommended to stick with your allies. Kinda like real war where both side just clash at each other till either side fall first.
@@brandononeil9596considering how the cast here look younger than any previous game and the fact that we are fighting with Zhang Jiao here, its definitely gonna be a fresh experience. Im very excited

Beginning the game as an ally of the yellow turbans? Thats by far the most unique and clever start to a dynasty warriors game ever.

Even though it's unfortunate that they only redesigned a select few characters, I'm kinda glad DW9 designs finally getting a good game it deserves
It's about time they brought back blocking plus it looks like there's a mix of Samurai Warriors instead of doing a large special attack you go into a special mode a lot like Samurai Warriors
Eve and wall of fate remixes sound so good!
It feels strange seeing Zhang jiao like this considering how they normally picture him as. However, since we are focusing more on seeing how the Yellow Turban started and how they will end in the first story arc, this version may help a lot more seeing his rise where he started with good intentions and eventual fall as a villain.
Actually looks pretty good. Miss the older feel, but excited for it. Plus, the remix of Eve from Dw4 sounds great.

no offence but everytime dynasty warrior try new things die hard fans always shut it down without giving it a chance to evolve.
which lead dynasty warrior still has barely the same gameplay over decades.
dw series needs change and you and other nostalgic trapped fans need to give it a chance to innovate.
Hard gameplay can also be achieved with new gameplay if you guys are more mature and give DW developer more freedom to experiment and not fear of being shut again.
This is promising!
- Blocking animation is great
- Number of characters on the field is satisfied
- Combat action look slow but powerful
- Cutscenes are better than DW9 and SW5
- UI is not so great, but okay to me

the duel system from DW6 is like enemy always want goes sneak you behind 😂😂 ( don't know you guys felt same or not, just my experience )
and really hate army surrounding annoying in DW6

The Eve remix is so good!!! And the way you run through the battlefield with the soldiers charging with you, this look so good!!

Okay im definitely on board and officially excited for this one. I was floored at 11:30 that constant stream of soldiers made it feel like it would never end. Really gives the impression of a real battalion charging into battle

I'm sold especially with the new covers of Eve and Wall Of Fire as well as seeing the massive amount of soldiers on screen. I do hope you get to create and edit the protagonist like the edit mode characters in past games! I'm preordering my copy for PC when Preorders are available so hopefully we get a release date in the near future!

The new character design for Guan Yu is AMAZING. From the screenshots I also recognised Zhang Jiao, Xiahou Dun and Xiahou Yuan, as well as Sun Jian, Yuan Shao, Cheng Pu, Chen Gong, Yuan Shu and Liu Bei. Although Yuan Shao, Yuan Shu and Cheng Pu characters designs for this game look similar to their Dynasty Warriors 9 character designs. Either way I literally CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS!

I am sorry for saying this, but anyone saying that the 1 vs 1000 is not entertaining you are honestly messing the point of dynasty warriors allure in the first place. I have been a fan since dynasty warriors 2 and this looks amazing. Just hope we get a decent amount of playable characters with unique weapons. Also, I hope they return the gameplay to the way it was in DW8, I can see some elements of DW9, so I hope we get back to that style rather than what we had on DW9. Overall, this is looking amazing, they listened to our feedback and they are making it better.
A combination of WoLong and standard Dynasty Warriors 1v1000 gameplay. I can't wait!!!!

I'm excited but I kinda wish it wasn't so easy to kill so many enemies with one hit. I miss the old days where it was actually a challenge to rack up hundreds of kills.

The moment I saw your enemy just flying around from the most deadly and extreme attacks, be it Guan Yu or even your character himself was it pretty much mirroring the past, but much more easier so it seems. Epic game nonetheless? It's simply where we go after we clear the battlefield--because it does appear to empty pretty fast; especially after Guan Yu wields like crazy.
Definitely this. My wife and I still play DW4 sometimes and while the enemies go down they can definitely hurt YOU too. Where’s the sense of danger here?
@@Therealstonethegamer even I don't know when watching it over about three times. What we're introduced to upon progression like the mapping of where you are is pretty decent, it's the eventual expectation of where you'll be with the battles, no matter who or what's chosen just judging by what you're given; especially the Yellow Turbans who I felt for in that trailer.
I think its to mutch long to play if u add long life on the NPC of the field.
Hope this gets a empires even though it's not a full dynasty warriors

This is the upgrade I’ve been waiting for for so many years

So, what we have in total:
- Main concept of this game devs want to realize - is Wo Long. Because it uses it`s game engine and gameplay features. They call it "Back to the Roots".
- Only one playable and non-costomizable character (some famous officers can be played temporary in battles)
- About 20 Weapons with unique gameplay and new combos modifications.
- No new characters, Jin characters, "Kids of famous officers" characters, Xiao Sisters etc.
- No multiplayer.
- No "Flashy atmosphere", creative weapon concepts and characters from DW8. Devs want to make a ROTK with the Wo Long gameplay from the whole DW series.
- "Not adding characters considering adding character quantity is no longer the selling point." - from 4Gamer interview. So, they will not make 100+ characters with the 100+ unique signature weapons even in future.
- Game will be only about deep story and deep and tactical gameplay. So, no more meditative croud chopping. Archers will be pain in the a-word. Shielders will be pain in the a-word, etc.
- Duels will be the thing

This makes me wish some dev would remake Demon Chaos (PS2), 65000 enemies in one screen at 60 FPS.
That Eve remix is heavens to my ear! I cannot wait to listen to the entire soundtrack.
yup this is going to be a very good introduction to these games, I've played a few but never finished one & I feel like this will make me wanna play the other one's
If this games campaign map is like total war I will consider buying it…otherwise this one doesn’t look like it adds anything new..still see troops randomly disappear and show up despite not being that many units on screen tbh.

I haven't played Wo Long but the world map system seems like they took it from total war three kingdoms too. They finally got competitors that did their games right and now koei kinda stealing ideas 😂
Okay. They may be cooking. I've wanted a more historical looking approach armor and battle wise, and it seems to be coming. I also really the officer combat, seems to be more dodge and parry focused! Jaw dropped when they tool control of Guan Yu... Let's keep our eyes on this one.

The main protagonist is likely Liu Bian, the older brother of the puppet emperor Liu Xie. Liu Bian died at the age of 15 at the hands of Dong Zhuo because he became too hard to control so Dong Zhuo chose the younger Liu Xie instead.

With everything I’ve seen for Origins so far this is more promising than DW9. Really looking forward to the game release, scrapping the open world gameplay with open world to travel to major battles that plays like the classic dynasty warriors is just right.
I am hoping with how the characters look they age during the period of the Han Dynasty like how Liu Bei does in the older games.
I'm a DW9 apologist, but I am absolutely hyped for this game. Even if 9 was theoretically perfect, which it wasn't, this change-up feels fresh and exactly what was needed to revitalize the fanbase.

I know outfits shouldn't be the main thing but how I wished everyone got new main outfits. I know it's the younger vers of some but still.. Also upset that we didn't see any female characters ;( but the gameplay look sick tho!

I hope they make Orochi 5 after this. I love orochi series. 4 story is a bit weak though.
