ATR-72 es un avión de corto alcance- probablemente, medio también. Destinado a servir poblaciones no muy lejanas. Es un avión muy confiable. A very reliable Turboprop.-plane. Felicidades a Aeromar. tanto por su buena elección de aviones como por su buen servicio a bordo y en tierra. !
yo vivo en guadalajara y toda mi vida he viajado a puerto vallarta por carretera por la supuesta cercania de la ciudad, y en una ocasion viaje en avion mas especificamente en aeromar y la vardad quede enamorado al grado que no pretendo volver a viajar en carra a este hermoso destino, prefiero hacer una buena alcancia, es lo mas comodo que puede haber entre vallarta y guadalajara, excelente servicio,

Ya estaba esperando el video. Se lo voy a enseñar a mi papá. El voló en Aeromar hace unos años y tuvo una muy mala experiencia, los asientos estaban rotos y el cinturón de seguridad no funcionaba. Además de que el personal era muy malo.
Hey man, qué buen video! Hace algunos años solía volar a diario por cuestiones de trabajo hasta 4 vuelos por día y las conexiones usualmente eran con estos ATR. No son lo más cómodos del mundo pero la experiencia de vuelo es muy divertida. Sobre todo cuando hay turbulencia, jaja. Me hiciste recordar buenos ratos, saludos desde Qro.
I use Aeromar service last August with my family, all i have to say is that our flights to and from Vallarta to Mexico City were excelent, my wife was limited due to a foot injury, so from the desk at Check in to the point were she was assisted to be on-board the plane, the service was simply excelent, unfortunatly Aeromar do not cover all Mexico, otherwise would be our choice to fly everywere, prices are decent and service is i think excelent compared to price you pay. and my kid simply love the ATR more than for example the Aeromexico E-jets, my father in law find more confortable fly on the ATR than the E-jet

Tengo una entrevista con Aeromar pronto y justamente me encontre con tu canal! Me encanto el contenido, no me ha tocado viajar en un ATR pero debo decir que me parece curioso el tema de ser un avion de turbohelice, sentiste alguna diferencia con respecto a la sensación de por ejemplo un Airbus o Boeing??
Acapulco to Oaxaca with them in ‘88 in a thunderstorm. Best thing to say was we got there. And my lunch arrived with me!
Exelente línea yo he volado en Aeroméxico y Volaris y viva aerobus y hay retrasos está línea me pareció muy confiable y el servicio bueno gracias por compartir viajaré la próxima vez en esta linea
Aeromar lo mejor
A mí me gustan mucho los aviones de hecho soy un hiper fanático de ellos pues me encantan todos los tipos de aviones desde los comerciales ejecutivos y privados hasta los Aviones de Combate tanto antigüos como modernos es para mí un gran gusto saber que hay aviones titanicos como el ATR en todas sus variantes son en verdad fantásticos bien por la empresa AEROMAR Y SU EXCELENTE EQUIPO DE EMPRESARIOS CONSTRRUCTORES SOBRECARGOS Y TAMBIEN LOS PILOTOS TODOS SON MAGNIFICOS atentamente BALTAZAR CARMONA JUAREZ

Wow,Westjet flies into Vallarta,impressive! Probably came in from Vancouver,maybe Calgary.When passengers check in at Mexico City,do the agents inform them of the free lounge? Upon arrival at Vallarta,I believe I saw Southwest Airlines and Delta--are US carriers grouped together at the same concourse? Its been literally decades since I've flown an ATR--Continental Express had one between IAH-HOU in the 80's,flight time was about 30 minutes,was free for connecting CO passengers,fare I believe for others was about $30 OW

Aeromar looks like a good airline. Thanks for showing us what was to be the new MEX airport. What a shame and a tragic mistake that it has been shelved. MEX could have been the hub between N and S and Central America but that won't happen now without a new airport.

I find aeromar's ATRs comfortable for the duration of most of their flights, but the cabin pressure is awfull in these aircraft, my mom almost passed out in our outbound from MEX and I too inbound, the landing into Mexico City is wild, you got amazing views but the touchdown almost feels like a dive

Mi primera experiencia con aeromar fue excelente vole de la ciudad de mexico a acapulco muy contento con el servicio y la atencion ...mejor que aeromexico...y si en mi proximo viaje seguro la usare de nuevo ..saludos desde portland oregon!!

I prefur a meal not snacks especially for a two hour flight.

I have heard and read of few incidents where the propeller actually comes off the engine causing a lot of damage to the airframe and since there’s no outer casing around the propeller like on a turbofan engine I just can’t sit next to that spinning propeller, that’s one fear I have never been able to overcome.

I traveled with Aeromar between Mexico City and Tepic, Nayarit, it's almost 1:45 hours to reach, and I think it's a lot of time in the flight to Puerto Vallarta, taking note that Tepic is more far from Mexico City than PV. i agree Aeromar goves a good service and the ATR planes have a good mantainance, but I hate so much the take off

Hola porqué Aeromar no tiene rutas económicas los fines de semana de Monterrey a San Luis Potosí y viceversa, por ejemplo saliendo un viernes en la noche de Monterrey a San Luis Potosí y regresando a Monterrey u. Domingo en la noche. Mucha gente de Monterrey trabaja en San Luis Potosí y mucha gente de San Luis Potosí trabaja en Monterrey.
Well...I have to say...your review of Aeromar is much kinder than I would give. I have flown Aeromar on two separate round trip flights between Mexico City and Oaxaca de Juarez. Both times, the trip was stressful, and costly. The first time I used this carrier was also my first time at Benito Juarez International...ugh! Immigration area is much to be desired! When I arrived into Mexico from the US, and went to check in at the Aeromar desk they told me I was about to miss the bus. Bus?!! What bus I asked. Well sir, the bus that takes you to the aircraft. Who knew? I sure didn't know I would be bused to the airfield! Thankfully the desk clerk escorted me...at a run...to catch the bus...I just made it...barely. The most recent trip (October 2019) was basically a repeat of the same thing...I allowed a 2.5 hour layover between my American flight and the Aeromar flight....but Immigration was very busy, and soooooo slow! Then I had to walk down that long hallway in Terminal 1 to catch the train to Terminal 2 and the Aeromar desk to check in. This time....the bus had already left me....and I was at the desk 20 minutes ahead of flight time. The agent informed me that there were no other flights available that day....I could be put on a flight for the next day...BUT...they charged me about $160.00 US for another ticket. Ridiculous!! And by the way...a couple of days after I used my credit card to purchase the ticket...I received a fraud alert from the credit card company for unauthorized activity on my account....over $500 in charges on another airline!!! There were also several other attempts and fraudulent activity. Very suspicious!!! Of course...now I have to find a place to stay overnight too, before the flight the next day...I was tired and disoriented....I did not think to check with another airline to see if they might have any evening flights available. Had to spend another $100 on a hotel room for the night. The next day, everything went smoothly. But on the return from Oaxaca...the flight was delayed an hour in arriving, and there were no announcements made to alert us as to what was happening...not even in Spanish! I had to ask a security officer to explain what was happening. I will never fly Aeromar again! And let me mention, that I have spoken to several Mexicans about this. They all said they didn't like Aeromar. They seem to favor Interjet.

- La primer serie del ATR (1985) es más moderna en estructura, materiales y aviónica (instrumentos) que los Boeing 737 de primera y segunda generación (60's y 80's respectivamente). La segunda generación de ATR (90's) es tan moderna como los Boeing 737 NG. La última generación (2010) es superior los 737 NG.
- El ATR usa hélices grandes exteriores pero el principio de empuje de sus motores (turbo prop) es casi el mismo de los motores jet.
- Son pequeños por que son para vuelos regionales de no más de 1650 km con costos menores de operación. Además sirven para aterrizar en pistas cortas por su vocación regional.
- Aeromar no es una aerolínea low cost. Ofrece los mismos seguros y tarifas complementarias que Aeroméxico.
- Hay más de 1500 aviones de éste tipo construidos desde su lanzamiento y pedidos importantes de su última generación. Son muy utilizados en Europa y Asia para conectar ciudades cercanas.
- Son construidos por un consorcio europeo con fuertes lazos con Airbus y su récord de incidentes es de los mejores.
2 hrs from Mexico city?? se me hace mucho, talves por el tipo de avion. Es lo que se hace de tiempo de GDL a Tijuana.

Tienen terminal en Veracruz Pto. y en Ixtepec, pero no en Minatitlan. Lastima. Creo que asi si me animaria a ir en avion a mi ciudad, Coatzacoalcos, y no en un ADO por 9 o 12 horas. Pero puro Aeromexico caro en Minatitlan

He leído muchos comentarios de bonitas experiencias que tuvieron al volar con esta aerolínea, DESGRACIADAMENTE YO no puedo opinar lo mismo; Aun no vuelo (Cancún-Habana-Cancún) y ya he tenido CUATROS CAMBIOS en la reserva, Dos cambios fueron de horario de salida de Cancún a La Habana y ayer fueron dos cambios de FECHA Y HORA para el día siguiente su única respuesta es que fue por logística de la compañía, NO se que piensan estas personas y que poco les importa lo que ocasionan (Tengo que pagar hospedaje por dos noches una en Cancún y otra en La Habana así como alimentos y transporte ya que no vivo en Cancún, sino en Guadalajara y ya tango vuelos para volar a Cancún.
Lo malo que Aeromar no vuela en mal clima :'(

es curioso porque cuando fue el huracán patricia nos cancelaron los vuelos de todas las aerolineas menos el de aeromar, llegamos super bien a Colima y cuando pasó el huracán fuimos los primeros en operar desde el aeropuerto de Manzanillo.
