    What grows hair?
    ✅Commitment
    ✅Consistency
    ✅Care (being extremely gentle)
✅Cleansing (solid scalp and hair cleansing regimen)
✅Crops (crops (vegetables), overall diet, ample water
Hair is constantly growing, but must be maintained to thrive. (Cleansing, grooming)
I have used these ingredients to help me achieve waist length hair. In addition, you must keep your hair in protective styles (twists, braids) for long periods of time. (3 - 4 weeks at a time etc) practice gratefulness, positive mindset, excellent diet, proper sleep, consistency, exercise, gentle detangling, no heat at all (my experience), daily oiling of hair ends , deep scalp massage, diy natural mild shampoos and deeply moisturizing diy conditioners, practice mindfulness and lower stress. The results are my own. All results vary. Hair does not grow long overnight. Average hair growth is 6 inches a year. I started my natural hair journey 10 years ago but had many setbacks as it took many years of research and trial and error to find methods/products that worked for me. Of the 10 years, it took me roughly 4 years to achieve waist length hair.
More insight: I’m a non-smoker and do not drink alcoholic beverages, nor do I take any medications.

Thank you for the video. I am considering switching my store-bought shampoo to a homemade one. Apple cider vinegar is top on my list, so I thank you for the video. Also have you heard about soapnuts? They are very well known for their soft detergent properties, thus helping cleansing the scalp without stripping the hair of its oil. Can you please consider trailing this and give your thoughts about this? ❤ Love your channel

Thanks so much Spoken word! I’ve actually tried soapnuts but it left my hair feeling waxy and dry. It didn’t make my hair feel good to the touch, so I do not use these. I know soapnuts can be used as a cleanser but I would caution for the hair (my personal opinion) or you can try it and see what you think. I’d only use it on a small section of hair though!
Thank you for viewing and for your comments! Have a blessed week 💕

hi! thank u for the video 🫶🏽 i have a couple of questions:
    1. do you do put oils into your hair like a day prior washing your hair or some hours/minutes before washing?
    and
    2. since you recommended to not tie your ends when washing, do you just leave them untied all the time then or you knot them after washing? (hope i’m making sense😭)

      1. I oil my hair throughout the week on a daily basis, but I add a larger amount the day before…
      2. Right so if you tie the ends during wash day, it has a tendency to actually knot up (I noticed this in my 4c hair And I would lose length) however, if you really moisturize them and have them in a loose twist towards the end (like what I did in the video), the ends of your hair shouldn’t knot
Then afterwards, after I wash, I oil, and then add my avocado aloe gel to the ends (similar to Indigenous strandz flaxseed gel) however I use aloe /avocado
      I used this: ruclips.net/video/8APk7fDwOUs/видео.htmlsi=4HvQhAIarf-m1X8T

So this was your weekly washday? Since your hair started to web, did you rebraid it the same day, or did you wait a week, do a full washday and then rebraid it? I hope that made sense 😅

    • @tialynn1111
      @tialynn1111  9 месяцев назад

      Yes,
so when it begins to web pretty badly, it’s usually at week 4. When my style is in a long term monthly style, I’ll remove and re do the braids after a month.
Everyone’s hair is different though, some may need to redo them after 2 weeks to prevent matting. I know I can go 1 month without re braiding💕
