So very glad you had a positive experience meeting Naka's family & Naka meeting yours. If parents raise their children to love, respect and expect everyone (regardless of their race, culture, religion etc) the world would be a much better place. I do know with their acceptance on both sides, they will support you guys in whatever you go thru.
35 years old is a little late to have a 1st child. I had my 2nd son at 35 & was high risk due to my age. The Drs took him out prematurely & he was in the ICU for awhile because his lungs weren’t fully developed. It’s much safer & easier to get pregnant while you’re in your 20’s. Naka especially if you’re already having bad menstrual periods. There could be cysts or fibroids or endometriosis which are very common among black women and also can cause problems becoming pregnant.
