- In this tutorial. I show you step by step on how to install Office LTSC Professional Plus in Windows 11. This is the click to run installation method. I show you how to edit the configuration xml file and use command prompt to install Office LTSC 2021 Professional Plus.
I installed this Office LTSC 2021 using (VLSC)Volume License. You will need a Microsoft License to activate Office 2021.

I know a good amount of the IT field but for certain installs a simple double click on setup.exe file should just load an installation wizard. I remember making admin installs so I guess this is similar, only you can't input the license key like we used to. Anyway, I thank you kindly for making this so much easier than going crossed eyed with their documentation.

I did check the Microsoft website and saw where they say, " An Office product key uses a combination of 25 letters and numbers in this format''. I could not find the key with those characters. Thanks
Why in mine it says that it cannot be installed because you have to uninstall the following product(s) but they aren't shown? Does anyone know what to do in this case? I would ve really grateful.

I just finished trying to install offfice 2021 following your steps. I copied and pasted the command you showed on the Microsoft website and then Pressed ENTER and waited for the download . I waited for 2-3 minutes then this appeared: c:\Users\administrator\Desktop\office2021> So office2021 never came. I dont know why.

Office LTSC requires a serial number. A Microsoft account is not required.

I have seen somewhere that previous offices should not be installed. What should I do?
All previous version of office needs to be uninstalled before updating to office 2021. Please check license requirement for this drive 2021.

In fact, I failed at my first few attempts of installing office with reference to this video because I had copied and pasted the wrong command in command prompt. But later I managed to find the correct one. So eventually I was able to install it successfully. By the way I have left one question to get clarified. That is, once I installed and got into the office account it shows product is already activated. What could be the reason?

After the window power shell, it stop working. Am stuck here.
The response I got is "object not found" command not found.
You Should delete the '-office2021' and open Comand prompt instead of Power shell. Maybe useful and i hope i helped you!

You have do a complete uninstall of Office 2019 and reboot your computer--then install the new office.

If you reinstall windows. You will loose the 2021 office unless you have the key.
