Installed fine but under File->Office Account it says
"Activation Required" any thoughts
Thank You - Works a treat - Installed on Thursday 07th March 2024 on an Acer laptop running Windows 11.
NB: You must first UN-install the trial version of Office 365 including One Note that tends to come pre-installed on new laptops in order for the installation to work.

It’s working now but now i have to activate it. Still works though. My original problem was copying a command wrong. Try again and double check before hitting enter button. Good luck
Thank you for the clear instructions. I successfully installed and began using it. After a few weeks though, I keep getting nagging pop up saying to the effects "unlicensed version" etc while I can ignore and move on to using the program, but apparently they know that its an unlicensed version. Wonder if at some point they would just cut off access.

it installs but does not activate, I tried re installing and not choosing publisher and even using the product key on the download. nothing activates the licence. 32 or 64 bit.

I tried the procedure on my system that has windows 2007 and when I run it I got an error message "The procedure entry point EventSetInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library ADVAPI32.dll." and I have no idea of what to do next. Keep in mind that if you installit in German or any other language you need to change the second command because it wont be named configuration but Konfiguration as it is in the case of German.

1.) first factory reset my pc (it was needed for [personal need)
2.) uninstall office form control panel.
3.) Follow exactly as in your video very carefully.
but still it s saying that product is not activated.

Have failed to know where you got the notepad from
I only get as far as the CMD prompt then i get a message the system cannot find the file specified. I got as far a moving the file to local disk C in the instructions. The files are there in C:/

I finally got it to work. Next problem is trying to activate it. More videos with steps and mine doesn’t activate. But at least I got it installed

idk why in my laptop the process installation is like stuck no clue it processing. ABout one hour left still like that no progress.

It's asking me to uninstall the previous products and try again. But when I try to uninstall it, I get a warning that all apps and their data will also be deleted. What to be done ?
I had this pre-installed on a new laptop. Today is the last day I can use it, as it will need an activation key tomorrow. If I follow this video guide - judging from the comments below - I have a less than 50% chance of downloading an activated MS Office. My guess is Microsoft have stopped it. I will use Libre Office instead.
