Tommy Aldridge, one of the most iconic drummers of all time, was the only drummer who got a standing ovation during the Remo Drummer Night in Manchester. Performing Whitesnake's 'Crying in the Rain', the God-like Rock drummer from also Pat Travers, Ozzy Osbourne and Gary Moore was a 6-minute whirlwind of boosting energy taking literally everybody in the room to Jetstream levels. The ones who were there will never forget this moment: a six-minute demonstration of how Rock drumming must be played. Prepare to be stunned!

One of my Favorite drummers since Pat Travers Band. In Seattle I saw him come off stage behind David Coverdale at the end of a show and Coverdale reached down and flung a fans 6 inch high heel shoe back out into the crowd without looking and nailed Tommy right in the face. Glad he didn’t lose an eye.

I never tire of watching Mr Aldridge... An absolute legend, how to play a 4 piece kit like he's behind his stage kit... Amazing power a proper real rock drumming god......

I always forget how hard Tommy hits. What's amazing is, for someone who's always on 10 for heavy hitting, he still has great dynamics and nuances. Absolute powerhouse with great feel

1971, Frampton's last tour with Humble Pie--My first concert, age 15. My older cousin took me. Black Oak Arkansas opened the show. Tommy did a solo (the opening act's drummer!) and did the John Bonham playing with his hands thing. He knocked over one of his crash cymbals, his drum tech (unknown term back then!) picked it back up; 3 seconds later, it was knocked over again. His tech left it there, until they finished the song. Double bass, blue sparkle kit...

No double bass drums....not a ton of rack toms and cymbals! The feeling is the same with just a 4 piece kit! That's the spirit! This guy is a legend!
