Shane Bond would have been one of the best bowlers of all time had he been injury free. What do you guys think?

Oh yeah, dudes one of the greatest ODI bowlers of all time. He ate Ozzies for breakfast. Have to think about his pace, NZ wickets aren't great for it. You have to work bloody hard to generate that extra bit of juice. I think it's why we've had a lot of promising pace bowlers leave due to injury well before their time.

Yes i agree Bond was actuually the Kiwi bowler whom i liked a lot . The injuries just shortened his carrer . Still remeber how his 6 for 19 against our team made realize his real true potential that he must not br taken lightly . True respect from India

Boult is worldclass no question, but not in the same league as Bond. Bond was a great fast bowler. He was just as accurate and swung it just as much as Boult but at a 150clicks.
Boult is comfortably the third best quick NZ has ever produced but there is a bit of a gap between him and Bond and Hadlee.

My favourite bowler. Owned the Aussies with 6/23 in the 2003 WC.
He was fast, accurate, humble and never gave up despite injuries. ❤❤
Luckily Shane Bond wasn't a model. He was so handsome ❤
    Quality video!! 🎉
If he wasn't injured, mind you, he would be the greatest fast bowler ever imo..

Hey can u make a video on how good was Sourav Ganguly. Bcos people remember him as a great captain & a leader but people forget that Ganguly was also one of the Greatest Batsman. Scoring more than 11000 runs in ODI and more than 7000 runs in Test at batting position of 5 or 6. Ganguly made his test debut in 1996 and first ODI match in 1992 but second ODI match in 1996. So his career actually started from mid 1996 onwards till 2008, with 2 years being gone bcos of Greg Chappell controversy. So his career was only for 10-10.5 years. And in these 10-10.5 years he scored 11363 runs in ODI and 7212 runs in Test at batting position 5 and 6. Had Ganguly not taken retirement early in 2008 and retired in 2012-2013 alongside his peers Dravid, Tendulkar, Laxman & Sehwag, Ganguly would have also scored 10000+ runs in Test too

I think Shane bond could have been the best fast bowler in the world if he was not injured frequently. Frequently injuries unfortunately could ruined his carrier prematurely. Keeping speed above 150 km/ h with lethal inswing, outswing delivers and as well as inswing yorker is neither a dall game nor it possible for many fast bowler.
    Shoaib akhtar- fastest speed.
Brett Lee- fast speed with some of good regulation.
Shane bond- fast speed with finely regulated inswing, outswing, inswing yorker consistently with most of deliveries was unplayable for even in best batters in that time.

HE DID SWING OUTWARDS TOO... in TEST ONLY... that is TRUE (not much that I saw in ODI)... with the old ball he was brilliant with in-sw-yorks and slower ones(120kkkkks...)

How was his delivery of 156.4 kph in 2003 was the fastest ever recorded when there's literally a record of 160.6 kph delivery of Jeff Thompson against West Indies in 1975 and a 159.5 kph of Andy Roberts against Australia in a match played in 1975? When you make a video be cautious of facts that too on an international platform such as RUclips.

Yeah , you are correct. During the 1970s, speed gun was not used and I should have mentioned, "the fastest delivery recorded using a speed gun". Thanks for pointing out😄
