I brought my dream VC nearly 2 yrs ago - Overseas Chronograph Blue Dial. VC make approx 20,000 watches p/a - this makes them quite rare compared to Coys like PP (prod approx 60,000+) and AP (40,000 p/a) and Rolex 800,000+. The interchangeable bracelet/strap system is great, the stainless steel bracelet has micro adjustments. VC just make great watches for people who appreciate the finest quality and don't need to show it off to everyone else. My Rolex for a 1/4 of the price attracts more attention.
Also in regard to hacking seconds - I have never considered that an important feature at all, if you cant set the time without hacking then .......
I like the simplicity of the model , I don’t think I would go all the way to the top but who knows

Never conciously thought about having precious metal watches in my collection. However, I always feel that sports watches in gold just look so blingy. Wearing a Royal Oak or Daytona , looks like you mugged C3PO after working on the set of Star Wars. That's just my opinion, but I'd love a Patek or better still a Lange& Sohne complication in gold. I think that older historical designs are outstanding in a precious metal, though are sadly beyond what us mere mortals can afford.

as a young man in his 20s and getting a first and only one. Would you recom Rolex Sub or VC Overseas 4500v Stainless? To me its hard cause I know the sub is most copied watch with fakes etc and a lot of people owing one. the overseas and vc is not talked about that much. i like the sub for being very durable, at the moment I am looking at the vacheron constantin overseas and for some reason that watch is calling my name. I have a pretty active lifestyle so a durable and versatile watch would be ideal. I like VC cause its not recognized by many people and only a few will know that brand compared to like rolex, ap, patek. I feel like wearing a rolex draws unesscary attention to me since its to most well known / popular luxury brand out there.
If you can afford VC I’d def go with VC everyone has a Rolex these days

I love the egerie becuz of its moonphase function which is really romantic yet the pink gold overseas seem sturdier for daily wear and I’m not a particularly careful person :-/ and the overseas seem to hv anti magnet function per VC website but not the egerie, does that mean that overseas should stand the daily wear and tear better than the egerie? Which one has better craftsmanship in your opinion cuz their price is quite close, thank you so much for your help ❤️
@@carolnatural Hey Carol, I think both are fantastic. When it comes for VC everything is hand crated and incredible quality. I feel the Overseas would maybe be less open to daily wear if you get it with the bracelet as pink gold is softer than steel however you could always add the rubber strap! You cannot hack the second hand with the overseas. Honestly though does anybody actually precisely set the second hand
